chapter 3 was so epic
The reason mommy long legs wont straight up kill us is because she wanted to torture us first and watch us suffer for revenge. Then she would have killed us.
Playing statues and musical memory isnt exactly torture though, it's the most lazy excuse for padding I've ever seen, she should have at least tried to make them deadly so that actually participating in them WAS the torture, not just "oh if you hit the wrong color or move when the lights are on you die"

i kinda think that the scary factor on chapter 1 and 2 are made on purpose it's like they're saying that the more you progress the more scarier it gets. i mean just look at the main villain's design Huggy is Huggy, Mommy long legs is creepy and Catnap is literally nightmare fuel for me
I utterly dismissed chapters 1 and 2 of this game,
and *genuinely* thought chapter 3 was an entirely different game. It feels like such a titanic jump in quality that it's unrecognizeable
I love a lot about chapter 3, but I agree on all of your notes and then some. The jumpscared could’ve been scarier though. Also, chapter 3 could’ve used better chase sequences (especially DogDay’s!
Great video! Honestly I never really watched anything on poppy after chapter 1, and then I kept hearing how 2 was just more of the same, and pretty much concluded nothing special was ever going to come from it, but I guess I was wrong. Glad to see them making such a big leap in quality, even if mascot horror is still massively over-saturating the market it’s nice to see there’s still some good stuff coming out of it. Catnap is a legitimately great horror design and just from your footage the massive change in atmosphere is clear to see. Hopefully they can keep it up in the coming chapters, and maybe when the game is fully out we can get a full review!
2 is the best imo
I personally never liked Poppy or Fnaf or any real mascot horror. For me, the biggest reason is because I don't find it scary. If a little kid is holding onto a plush of this thing trying to kill me in a game, how can I be afraid since the kid isn't?

The first chapter is incredibly pandering to kids, and I could see arguments saying the second is too, but the third chapter definitely isnt
