- My clients were so desperate to get their investment property back on the market. It was left neglected and with the unexpected and severe weather it became extra long. Thank GOD I was able to do it with the on again and off again rain.

I am always amazed at renter's who neglect the yard and if truth be told it is the same for the inside of the house. I have rented many times and always treat the yard and home as if it were my own. I love everything neat and clean, inside and out.
Yes l agree it's your home safe,warm and somewhere to relax away from the outside world some people don't know how lucky they are to rent a home

As a life longer renter, I am shocked at how the property was disrespected. I'm not a great gardener but we have always kept the yard mowed and garbage not left out. If I had an issue with upkeep I would talk to the landlord to find a solution. oh, and I have two children and pets!

I agree, Dorthy! I have left the rental properties I've lived in, with respectable gardens. Not because I'm a pro-gardener, but because I love doing what I can to be surrounded by a pretty space - you LIVE there after all! These types of renters should just live in flats - it's not like their children and pets can enjoy this mess...

I have had rental properties for years. They will not take care of the yard! ( With the rare exceptions)Had to call them all the time. Received note from the city and everything. Finally went up on the rent and got a company to start mowing weekly. Much better now.

I have rented on and off over the years but I also owed homes in between. Some of the rentals were disgusting and really shabby when I moved in. But I believe when you use something that doesn’t belong to you, you should treat it better than your own. When I vacated properties they were always in better condition than when I moved in with the gardens and lawns looking immaculate. My pride won’t allow me to leave it any other way and I don’t understand how anyone can be that disrespectful. Just wanted you to know there is a rare one out there 😜
Exactly what my Dad started doing! Up the rent and hire a lawn crew to maintain. Stated best idea he had in years!

Wow! You have me as a subscriber. What a perfect demonstration of why you should walk your property before mowing to find all of the hidden treasures just waiting to make your day. Even then, you may not find them all. A chipped blade, broken spindle, or worse may be right in front of you. Great job! From Mississippi, USA.

I have watched so many yard lawn videos yours and others I do not remember watching this one so doing it again. I liked it the first time as I do on all videos so I can remember if I have seen it or not. I usually can look at the thumb pic and remember the video but for the life of me can't remember this one so watching all over again.

It's a nice house and fairly big yard.
Great transformation. 👏 I just don't understand some people. I was always taught to care for the places I lived in as if they were my own. I have owned and rented and never treated the yards any different. Actually, I think the places I have rented looked better then the place I now own. 😅 And that's saying something.

Wow my landlord was lucky then that’s why I got presents at Christmas. I decorated the yard tack fully and they loved it. As well as maintained it. But I’m a clean person. They even let me have a dog later on. When I see people trashing things it gets me so mad 😡

So far, this summer, I’ve only needed to mow 4x, as we have short summers.

You do a really good job 👏🏼. However, maybe limit the long distance shots. Just enough to give perspective; after that it's kind of boring. I think switching shots from one place to another was confusing. I got it after awhile but I think that's what made another viewer think there were 2 of you. Hope this helps with the filming/ editing.

If in the lease that stipulates that the renter is responsible for mowing the grass, then it’s the landowners responsibility to maintain it. It’s usually the landowner that doesn’t follow through. I have been there.
I am new so I am catching up on the ones I missed LOL This is sweet. Did you put their lawn table and chairs back down on the concrete for them? Were they surprised by your work?
The owner was really happy with the work but the table and chairs belong to the old tenant.

Never rely on renters to take care of your property…too risky.
Not to be offensive to anyone but I hope you are getting paid for this job? Doesn’t matter how elderly they are anyone who can afford an investment property isn’t doing it tough. Renters only have to maintain the lawns and yard at their cost if it’s specifically notated in the rental agreement otherwise it’s the landlords responsibility. It’s a pity that the art was let go no matter who was supposed to be caring for it but you did a great job once again Steve well done
