I feel like conifers and pines r a little more advanced for myself rn. Even with 10yrs bonsai experience I have yet to cross over to the conifer/pines chapter. I love u Pete
I have only one Bonsai, it's a juniperus chinensis I bought as a christmas tree three years ago. It's the needly kind, that doesn't get the soft "adult" foliage, it stays needly. But it has this deep magnificent blueish tint and I love it. Looks really special.
I think the main problem with Blaauws here in the UK is actually finding one. Even if I can't find one, it's great to see the video, thanks for sharing Peter.
I had an idea at 47:00...please use next time in a twin trunk situation both methods, so we as your fellows see the difference by using one time the thick and one time the small branches. You are such a great inspiration for enthusiast all over the world. Greatings from Bavaria
Itching to give it a go but ain't go no trees to tinker with 😂. Difficult to differentiate between shimpaku and kishu indeed, so thx for sharing Peter 👍. Cheers
Loved the video! Showing us so many options! They all turned out beautiful! Will the styled trees now go into one of the greenhouses or placed outside? If I do not have a greenhouse, should I attempt this in the spring?
what an amazing memory master chan has … being able to identify trees he bought or imported! i have trouble remembering what plants i have in my garden never mind when or where they were sourced on their history!
Awesome video! Mr Chan, as we approach winter in the UK, is it okay to prune junipers this time of the year? I have a fairly large Chinese juniper which needs shaping
Awesome, thank you so much. Is autumn the right time to style if you do not have a coldhouse available and the plants will stay outside during winter? I have a raw material at home, that I wanted to style in spring, but if I can already start, that would not be so taxing for my patience, as I already purchased the tree in early summer :D
This guy is a true professional and we need to treasure every video he puts out.
I just love these long Videos, you can really get comfy and watch Peter what magic he is doing today
Blauws is a dutch family name but blauw is also the translation of the colour Blue. Thank you for this great video 🙏
With love from the Netherlands 💚

many pines and junipers are very resilient. try a black pine. i have less experience than you and I mostly have pines because i like the way they look
What are some good tips for beginners?
@@Fambamm-ib6pwdon’t rush the process, bonsai is a lifetime affair ❤️

That was very interesting, Peter. My favorite is the double trunk. If I lived closer I'd buy one of your junipers to do myself. They're lovely.
It is easy to see the difference on camera, between the two different juniperus
Very complete video, a lot to learn. Thanks good camera work also!
Love your long videos Peter. Packed with lots of information and choice 👍🏻
Very inspiring as always. Thank you Peter Chan and all your staff that worked on this video.

Yes Autumn is fine to style.
Can’t wait to try doiing it myself. What’s the best time to start on a tree like blaauws?
the floppy one is a blaauw?
What common name for Junpierus sargentii do you use in the UK ?
How stressful is it to the tree to have 60-70% of the foliage removed? Do you have a high casualty rate for trees given that treatment?
Toisan wah?!
👍👌🙂
Interesting video. Thank you. (@ 10mins...floppy ..very floppy. That's me today.
Pinch them tips.
please wear a mic, cannot hear the message, thanks
