Your reviews are the best thing to come out of Discovery.

What I really want to see is one of those oil baths.

This entire show took the "fuck it" method 80% of the time.

So, a bunch of 24th century scientists put a magic portal to someplace into this artifact, and then put this artifact in the gravitational "sweet spot" between two ancient black holes?
    How? WHY?
Remember, they did all this off book and without their respective government's backing.
Also weird that 2 ancient, supermassive black holes are basically scenery, and have nothing else to do with the plot of the show; even when Disco is hiding and the shuttle is infiltrating.
Also, I had a thought about Moll and L'ak, and about how they were technically "punching up" and somehow performing better than almost anyone would expect characters who seem like they're better suited to be one or two episode antagonist on "The Mandalorian" then a trek show. I mean they're effectively countering DISCO at almost every turn, and somehow staying in the game after losing out on 2 clues, and then somehow Moll inspires a coup on a Primarch's flagship and becomes their Muad'Dib and they follow her without question.
How were two rando couriers the most effective team in the known universe?

Sometimes as silly as the premise is and sounds, it can still be executed effectively and realistically with the right vision and ability. We have many great Sci FI shows that showcase 'against the odds' and 'impossible situations' and they work. Discovery, however, is NOT that show, because it is peppered or more accurately, showered with constant nonsensical teenage drama and annoying character musings, behaviors and quirks that take you out of the show in frustration.

@@eddiek8179 True, like taking your ex (the only person you seem to take on most away missions) aside during a mission to tell him you're sorry for not working on your relationship? Like what if Mol got the Progenitor Tech while you were sharing your feelings?

It’s all contrivance and convenience at exactly the right time to move the plot along. And of course Burnham is a living deus ex machina, she solves every problem on the spot. The finale will be a copy of last season’s finale: no stakes, no consequences, not a shred of difficulty to overcome everything, a few cop out deaths, everything and everyone will be fine in the end and then a lot of feelings, tears, smiling and smirking. The series will end with a whisperspeak monologue by Burnham.

Agreed, I didn't really like it either, there's an awful lot to wrap up in the final episode now, and with half of it likely to be a "group hug at Fed HQ, wedding and watching the crew fly off into the unknown at the very end, that gives us what, 25 minutes to rescue Michael, save the day and recover the tech". As long as we never see the blonde grumpy teenager again, whatever her name was, I'll be happy. Not surprised in the slightest Discovery has been cancelled, quite an forgettable show in my opinion

You just know the grumpy blonde teenager will come good at the end. Despite all the horrible, villainous shit she's done this season 😂

@@treklad Yup. Did anyone forget she nearly killed a whole town of people? Still, no matter how bad that teenager is, at the very least, it can be explained why she's like that. There is no explanation for Tilly's smug insubordination nor even her character.

oh man this season is so awful.. bad acting and story. this whole “hand holding, romance, personal blah blah” is just so bad. this this Moll is the Shinzon of Discovery. She is ridiculous and not needed. her story and acting is not needed.
