mmm TTC released his video on it yesterday. 580's in forward and 774 in reverse. Up with the Milwaukee 2767 and Hercules Ultra Torque, with a 4ah battery. It hit 892 with a dewalt 8ah powerpack, damned impressive. What a time to be alive.
You could build a test setup, other people on youtube have these. They will use new finethread bolt with lubricated threads and they will tell you torque values after hammering on the thing for 10 or 15 seconds. But what most people will want to know is how will the tool work on the jobs that they need it to do. What size rusted lug nuts and suspension components will it remove, what size crank bolt, pitman arms, axle nuts, things like that. I bought a new compact tool and it spins off my 140 ft-lb lug nuts just fine but I haven't tried it on 190 ft-lb control arm bolts. You could walk around your shop with a camera, or a junkyard, and film it removing various large fasteners. Another thing that would justify a large tool- when you have to use extensions and universal adapters just to reach the fastener you lose a lot of torque that way. You could film it in common scenarios with extensions and/or universal adapters and how well will it do with them. About the batteries- you can buy a cheap adapter on Amazon that will allow it to take DeWalt batteries.
1:48 Dude, I bulid tool/ebike battery pack as a hobby. In my experience, Low capacity high drain chinisium 18650(1500~2000mAh) is quite decent now days. But if you want high capacity AND high drain capable 18650(2500~3000mAh) Believe me, don't even look at them lol
Friend told me about it personally, however if you put klutch and hypertough into the UA-cam searchbar there are a couple ppl on here confirming it as well. Budget tools actually shows the swap on camera.
@ToolsNTechBTR I'm definitely keeping the Klutch battery in mind though, I don't know if I want to screw with a battery adapter like I would have to do with the DeWalt battery.

I know, they beat me to the punch lol. Great to see though. It's about time the gear most people can afford catches up.

It’s actually crazy impressive how good they are for the price
Under sized motor is okay as long as it spins up in a second or two. Bigger battery may definitely improve the spin up.
More hypertough please !!!
Convinced me brought bought 2 one for work and one for side hustle/home
I like your line of thinking, this is y ppl like me always have tools and no $. Lol
If it will remove wheel nuts or a Honda crank bolt or even press in and out a hub bearing I'LL BUY ONE IN A HEARTBEAT!!
For the price why wouldn’t you get one lmao it’s a good backup impact or for each day use till it’s broken and go get another one

Isn't that the truth, guess we should be glad they capped these at 4ah. Lol
How did you find out they take klutch batteries? I’m thinking about buying this set up, just want to make sure

Smack a DeWalt Battery on that thing. 😅
Grab the klutch 8ah, it's 21700-40 cells. Direct fit and a world of difference.
@ToolsNTechBTR Would you say it's better than the XR? Not being funny, it's a genuine question.

Hey there, merry Christmas bro
