it happens datto, I've also had games where I pogged off so hard but we still lose because of that one bad clash also abrams 0-23 calling you fuck heads was pretty funny lmao
That Yamato in the first round really sucked and was too aggressive. Had a few matches like that where I bullied my opponent so badly they quit early and caused the rest of the enemy team to quit as well.
Yeah, seriously sloppy play. And Datto went easy, he ducked behind cover when Yamato had a sliver and he was almost full. There could have been more Datto bullying.
this is the only gameplay ive seen so far where its mainly a gun damage type of playstyle and the abilities are basically just for a little extra damage
Hah, Datto does the same thing i hear my roommate doing when he just screams "they're OVER THERE!" like that phrase somehow contains any useful information whatsoever, but it's his friend's fault for not instantly knowing what he's screaming about. Cute.
you can build it it's just low priority, pocket is pretty spirit-focused rn so we get very few weapon items as it is. hollow point ward + close quarters are the early game weapons most people take for the shields because pocket is super squishy early
I play on controller. You can map your controls however you want by right clicking the game in steam and then drilling down to the controller stuff. You will probably need a controller with paddles on the back to be able to map everything effectively though.
I’ve bound everything onto a ps5 controller, so it should work for a ps4 controller too. The trick was using the touch pad’s directional swipe inputs for 4 extra inputs. I’ve tried several different variations, such as putting abilities on touch pad, arrow keys, and even triggers. Rn, my current set up is to forgo ads and map an ability onto left trigger. My abilities are on the d-pad, active items on touch pad(4 directions), shooter actions on face buttons(jump, dash, reload, parry), and melee on r1, and chat wheel on l1. I’ve got a few hero specific bindings too. Steams controller mapping is rather robust. You can even trigger multiple actions with a single press. Beware, if you bind the action(ex. Melee, jump, shoot etc), it may not work in certain contexts. It’s better to bind the keyboard equivalent(ex. Space bar, left mouse etc). One more thing, bind right stick to joystick mouse if you want additional sensitivity options, and move your cursor Hope that helps! I would not be playing the game if I could hook up my controller haha… Aim might be a little potato, but I’m having a blast:)
Pick up Curse, Metal Skin or Return Fire to hard counter Haze Ult. Knockdown is cheaper than curse but takes a few seconds to proc so not as good if you are stuck in it but good if you are in a team fight
@Phillz91 None of those are reliable counters against a decent Haze with unstoppable. Only metal skin, but I keep hearing people repeating "Metal skin and run away". Return fire also seems to do very little to no damage late game with how much leech haze has and you can't always make your whole team get it. (They won't) Went up against a Haze with an almost 9 second duration unstoppable that ulted right outside our spawn, killed everyone but me, ults into our spawn, I use metal skin and run away to the very top of the spawn only to die to ricochet rounds from haze bullets bouncing off the guards in spawn that failed to kill her cause she just healed it all up, and yes I had antiheal too just for her. Like half my build was stuff just to counter her and we also had a mo on our team.
20:20 Nothing at all, only Return Fire, Metal Skin, Ethereal Shift, Curse or just good ol' Warp Stone. Haze ult is annoying but also quite easy to lock down or avoid with any one of those items
What do you do when Haze has unstoppable? I've even looked at comments and threads on reddit and the only answer I keep seeing people give is metal skin + run away, but running away is not always an option. Return fire doesn't do enough when she has leech, resists, and a bunch of other items to make her annoying. Is running really the only thing?
@@fenrir2188 If the haze blew 12k on two items in Unstoppable and Leech and still doing insane damage then they are likely very fed and you need to play around that power player accordingly. If you are at that point you need to focus her as a team and use things like stuns and Curse. I believe Curse prevents items like Unstoppable so if you can pop that and then go in on her it should be enough to kill her before it expires. Trying to solo a haze with that many souls is not going to work unless you have an invulnerability period like Yamato so sometimes you gotta play around the most powerful player on the enemy team.
@@fenrir2188 After Haze pops ult? Yeah, metal skin and run away is kinda the only real play. If possible, you want to be teamfighting in an area where Haze ult isn't good (i.e. not in a pit). The ideal situation is to get on haze before she ults with some form of cc. Even fed haze is squishy if she can't lifesteal.
I am loving the dual deadlock content from Datto and Fruit. We need to keep the Deadlock HYPE up!
Honestly impressive seeing someone go 0-23 I don't think I've ever seen someone die that much even on purpose
Haze ults: 😢
Me buying metal skin: 😊
Datto and Mr Fruit are emerging as the most iconic deadlock creator duo and I love it

More Datto Deadlock! I've waited so long!

Poor Abrams was going through it.
Datto I'm sorry but you eventually even bought metal skin... USE IT
if i hadn't watched this live, i would've thought that abrams was me.
i’m sure u know now but metal skin and return fire are decent options for haze ult
that dance gavin dance reference had me tweakin
datto and crew wins again
metal skin hard counters haze ult, worth a try, that or the bullet deflect
Deadlock rules
That team was basically a hard counter to your comp and it still took that long to win
Loving this game so far, still suck big time lol
Who is Carney and why doesn't his build including headshot booster with a shotgun? It pretty much doubles the damage of every trade early.

Happy Birthday Mr Trvvvvvvv
Why doesnt he use his ult
I was wondering the same thing. I think I only saw him use it once the whole game.
i was the entire time just screaming in my head PLEASE. JUST USE IT.
It hurt to watch Blue just dip from the OBJ at the end during stream.... :(
14:43 I didn’t know Omnigul was in Deadlock
it's Tromnigul
9:41 Datto a Dance Gavin Dance enjoyer
Was hoping someone else would catch that
i was physically pogging
mr fruit salad? yummy yummy?
So is there a reason that people forget they have a 4 button when they play Pocket?
Need more
I wish this game had controller support already, im a chronic steamdeck + controller user and its basically unplayable for me :(

honestly i barely have enough space on a keyboard for all the buttons, I'm not sure how easy it'd be to fit that all onto a controller.

im a new player and haze is just so easy man, i have done 1v11 games and still won (not bragging, just saying the hero is cracked)
I've lost 2 30+ kill games on Vindicta and Haze ult being stupid was one of the reasons why.

Lane mate is a bit of a yapper
metal skin
Hello Datto
Haze need nerf bro 😢
38 kills but looks like 23 were on the 0/23 Abrams 😂 very mid gameplay
9:32 DGD reference?!?!
bro, please PLEASE use sliding to your advantage. it's like having extra stamina bars, PLEASE
