Despite popular belief, this isn't an Acceleracers game that get the Acceleracers stripped out of it. The devs just took inspiration from the movies because Mattel didn't give them a lot of direction for the visuals and such.
Ah here we go. Finally. Hot Wheels Ultimate Racing is here. Now I promised a while back I would give you the easter eggs in this game referencing AcceleRacers and World Race. So here it is. 1. In one of the Desert (aka Death Valley) races, there's a T-Rex similar to the T-Rex in the World Race movie (specifically in Leg 3) 2. The fish in one of the Jungle levels was from the Water Realm 3. Another easter egg from one of the Jungle Levels is the Swamp Monster from AcceleRacers. 4. The Wrecking Ball in the Metropolis level (I believe it's track one or two) is similar to the Wrecking Balls in the Junk Realm 5. The "Greatest Challenge" from World Race appears in one of the Jungle levels. You'll know when you see it. 6. The Volcano level takes inspiration from both Leg 1 in World Race as well as the Lava Realm (in fact, the big loop from World Race makes an appearance somehow). 7. Kong appears in Metropolis 3 (That's not an AcceleRacers reference as it's more of a Kong Reference). 8. There's a scorpion that might be a reference to the Desert Realm (in the AcceleRacers Card Game) EDIT: BTW @Overdrive_srs You found at least 2 of the 8 easter eggs in this video.
I think the time slow mechanic is similar to old nfs games more specifically Most Wanted (2005) and Carbon because it looks like you have Increased grip like you do in thoses game previously mentioned.

Also, some of the tracks & level design is similar to HWSTC.
@@Galidorquest I could definitely see that with the Volcano levels as a reference to Lava Land.
I saw a clip of this game a bit ago comparing tracks to scenes from the show, actually surreal there was sorta an acceleracers game afterall.

Yeah, exactly. I thought it would simply slow down everything and that's it, but it actually vastly increases grip.
