The spring of 1982 I had just got discharged from Travis AFB and decided instead of returning to snowey Saginaw mi. I would try to make it in Oakland 's,not knowing a soul.I had an excellent stereo and I played this album in my first studio apartment not far from Lake Merritt. I ended establishing myself and had a successful sales career in women clothing and shoes serving Phyliss Hyman,Bonnie Pointer and the great Maya Angelo twice! I ended staying 15 years until I relocated to Georgia to assist my mother.
I was at Travis back in 1979 when this album came out. Bought the cassette tape and played it to death in my 78 Camaro. Every song on this album is good.
I thought I knew every single hit by MAZE and I heard this one today and I'm lost for words (guess I was to busy listening to the main hits of the album back in the day). This is such a beautiful song. Love It!!! Thanks for posting.
