What a sad day today..I'm shedding a few tears this morning.Maze slow jams got me through some tuff times as well as good times, backyard partys, wedding, funerals,breakups, BBQ, family reunions. U name it ... I never missed a show back in the late 70s and 80s and most of them were sold out arenas..
Listening to this amazing man this morning truly got me in my feelings. Can't stop crying. We lost a gift to this world from God. I will forever reminisce over Mr. Frankie Beverly with the beautiful music he left us that will continue to live on. Rest well Mr. Beverly.

I can't believe that when I was a teenager, I would play my uncles albums, back then he was an Isley Brothers and Maze fan and now Frankie is about to retire. His wife, girlfriend at the time took me to my first concert. It was Maze and the Isley's in Milwaukee.
