@@GTAVictor9128 Sure, but I'd still say the 80's was the tipping point. If we had seen what's coming, the path could have been changed in the 70's, but in the 80's it became the status quo and now there's no turning back without a revolution.
Exactly, ever since the gold standard was suddenly erased disposable income and rent skyrocketed. After the 70s our economy slowly started dying and no one cared enough to stop it.
This all just feels so surreal. I literally feel like I'm watching a movie about USA turning into fascism and my subconscious brain just simply can't comprehend it's happening for real. How can people be so blind they don't see what's going on? I'm starting to understand now how Germany could become the Nazi Germany, I can imagine how hopeless the normal people must have felt.
How the people don't see? I can't think of a better analogy than the frog in a boiling pot. Similarly, we're being boiled slowly. Then there are some big distractions, like pitting people in teams of "left" and "right", then there's immigration taking all the jobs, the ever growing inflation, enshittification of services. There are so many issues that a person is just too overwhelmed to deal with, causing exhaustion and just mentally checking out. That's how we get to today.
Man. I'm only 25 and the thought of big CEOs panicking over making less money because they're being required to treat their employees with basic human decency is so alien to me. They just get away with not doing that now.
unfortunately the heritage foundation isn't dying down anytime soon. plenty of millionaires and billionaires have profit to make from it, as you greatly put it here. excellent video as always.
The issue I see is I don't think they can survive their own policies. If they really do get rid of things like the department of education, they turn women into baby makers, etc. I would expect that to gut the ability of tech companies and other companies to operate. I don't see how they keep making all of that money when they kill off the workforce needed.
I am moving to Japan soon from the US and need a dental crown for my teeth. The procedure is $2000 without insurance, $550 with GOOD insurance. In Japan, the same procedure without insurance is $600, with BASIC insurance is around $100 for everything. The US charges 4X as much for the same thing. It makes no sense.
While you have a point, it's lost in your example. Japan's GDP per capita is $32k while the US's is 82k, with top states reaching 100k. Yea...things are 3-4x more expensive here because we're richer. The better question is why is Japan's healthcare so expensive for a univeral healthcare system? I support UHS, but you spoke and gave a poor example before thinking. THIS is why so many in the GOP can just laugh people like you away, because you defeat your own points. Try to THINK before speaking.

It always amazes me that capitalism and conservatism go hand in hand. It started out as a corporate manifesto that somehow became entangled with Christianity. It's almost as if Christianity was a business, a form of control. Money and religion. Religion and money. Both used to control us.
You can say that again. It has been always like this, just look at the monarchists and their advocates, using religion as the moral foundation of their societies. EDIT: But at the cost of the welfare of Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ people. They had suffered so much throughout centuries of religious-based ostracization and persecution. If only there was a religion or spiritual system that uplifts these marginalized groups, the world would be a better place. However, the only practice I could think of is Animism.
@@aganib4506there is a belief system that focuses on lifting marginalized groups up and preventing religions from digging their roots into the government and schools and such, it’s called satanism

Being a socialist in the US is frustrating for many reasons. Where is our playbook? What are we doing? How are we organized? Don't get me wrong I'm not supporting heritage or reps in the slightest, but I think leftists need to understand what we're up against and truly mobilize.
I'm from Spain and let me tell you the state of the left in this country is pitiful, not as bad as in America mind you but still the same bullshit of left on the surface but capitalist and right wing on the inside government, so basically your typical social democrat playbook, and most people are content with this and they will gaslight you into thinking that yeah voting for the socialist party will definitely prevent you from getting evicted even though they've ruled for like 7 years and the housing crisis is only getting worse and worse. but shit, even among this desperate landscape that exterminates the will to vote out of you, there are still so many unions (legitimate ones) and underground organizations you can join to at least do something, make something, but I don't see the same thing in America, at least based on what I've seen on the internet which mind you is pretty biased but still, I feel that the US is lacking in a coordinated and organized mindset. There's definitely the breeding ground, a lot of people are angry, but that anger needs to be funneled into a certain direction, and I can't wait for the day our american friends wake up
The current govt is illegitimate and if you are an agent of the state your life is forfeit. The best thing that could happen is a complete change in leadership. Otherwise you are just a mouthpiece of the institution and enemy of the people.

The Democratic Party pretends to be "progressive" and claims to be on the "Left" but don't actually do anything other than virtue signal. They will never take on an issue that would help the American people that remotely threatens capital.
Unfortunately, those who need to know all of this will be the ones who call it "fake news" because they trust a man who can't even identify with the economic struggles of the average American, but yet most of them are the ones who support him unquestioningly.
In terms of modern presidents, Reagan changed everything. He was the conservative anti-FDR killer. An actor who was eloquent and easy to manipulate. A man who can easily read a script but infamously stated that “Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do." Before Reagan, America was on a progressive movement because Americans were tired of the rich barons who constantly exploited us. Unions still had some power until Reagan crushed them. It's the preaching of meritocracy, that the rich deserve everything because they create everything from their intellect. The wealth knows what's best for us, which is why Reagan had the "trickle down theory" (use to be known as the horse and sparrow theory). Let the rich become richer and that in turn, will make society, overall richer.
It is a danger to minorities and workers in not just America but much of the world if Heritage has their way; you are doing the lord’s work helping to expose them to as many people as possible. Only together can we see justice.
Being european i feel so borderline useless seeing things like this take place, knowing that at this point we are pretty much an american proxy.. and that what will happen over there, sooner or later will happen here in one form or the other.

Power ALWAYS seeks more power. This is why no matter who is in charge it tends, over time toward dictatorship... unless governance (whether economic or social) comes from the bottom up in and from an educated population...
And that is the modern dilemma. When given it, people do not handle power well. It changes them. And when it's threatened to be taken away, they act with the most avarice ever seen, clinging onto every bit.
@@SalinaBabba8343 First, power isn't given, it is taken. (The processes by which this is accomplished can involve using others as programmed ideological 'tools' that first take power then hand it to their programmers, making it appear given, but it is first taken). Second, this kind of concentrated power is not handled well BECAUSE the wielder has it's own interests, which usually don't include all the interests from those power was stripped from to GET concentrated power. This creates a society where everyone becomes alienated. The masses from the power to meet their needs and the leaders from the concerns of the masses. THIS changes both groups, their views of each other and the dynamics between them. The closer the power is to the individuals and their interests, the less of an impact that individuals handling their power badly can have a negative impact on community, and in a actually healthy, interacting community, the more people will help a poorly acting individual to correct... for themself and for the community. Look at A.A.N.E.S. or the Zapatista territories. @@SalinaBabba8343 I've tried twice to give a more meaningful reply, but here is the crux of what I want to say. It is the concentration of power that people handle badly, not the power to meet their own needs. This is not a dilemma. It is a challenge.
EDIT:
But at the cost of the welfare of Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ people. They had suffered so much throughout centuries of religious-based ostracization and persecution. Americans would have said the lie detector was lying about Trump. That's exactly what they did when he was fact checked during the debate.
Lie detectors have a high rate of false results.
It wouldn't work, the device would explode before Trump could even finish a sentence
This is going to be one of the most important videos online for years
I don't understand how GOP will govern if they win. Very few bureaucrats agree with this Project 2025 platform & most will be replaced with fanatics, but who exactly? Will they be replaced from the MAGA ranks, i.e., people who know nothing about governance aside from destroying it? Because, let's be honest, when it comes to governance, Democrats are better at it.
Cultivating the skills and discipline to self govern should be the goal of all Americans if your desire is to be governed then governed you will be smh 🤦 😭
@@no01smanyou don’t understand what it means to live in a civil society. We aren’t an anarchy government exists for a reason.
The truth behind this usually are the reasons wars are started.
Sadly. 🤷🏼♂️
I believe the republicans help us learn to work for your keep. While democrats still admire social freedom. I don’t pick sides. But America is going down a dark tunnel. No matter who we elected.
Thanks for the bare faced truth JT.❤
Getting Trump to tell the truth (Project 2025) while staring into a camera, is like expecting Tony Soprano to admit he is a mobster.
The lie-a-tollah 😂😂
It's like he predicted that he would easily win the election.
Who didnt?
Because it was rigged and the liberals that have majority power in the Democrats are too soft to do a recount or dig into it.

Individually it is practically impossible for a billionaire to spend all his/her wealth, but that amount of money means power, and the more you have, the more power comes in to do whatever you want. Nowadays, the big techs have more money than the GDP of most countries in the south side of the world and that also means an immeasurable power
"...deploying a neutron bomb in Europe,..."
... pardon?
Probably in Germany or any of the at the time Soviet States
Well its now reality, we effed around and we are about to find out!
Heritage foundation ain’t sounding like a think tank anymore.. they sound like a hard core lobby group.
It’s also disheartening that Kamala said she would put a republican in her cabinet and was even willing to work with the heritage foundation.
Should be apparent by now that there’s functionally no difference between the two parties

Of all the despicable traits of the Democrats, their thinking it's like spicy or picant to parade around with book burning Christian fascists has got to be one of the most disgusting. They feel like they are being daring like they are eating snails fot the first time. In reality they are souring their supposed agenda.
@@SecondThoughtAt this point there's only the thinnest of a veneer of an esthetic difference.
When/where did she say she was willing to work with the heritage foundation? I’m not able to find that anywhere but would really be interested to know what she said about it
Excellent insight and historical perspective. Thank you.
Thank You for sharing, hoping this will open up in-depth discussions and help to shine some light on the otherwise very emotional politics in the United States of America. ❤ As long as Humans respond to it, the candidates as individuals will only drop such rhetoric very slowly.
We cannot let history repeat itself
