I just want to thank you Danny & Lord for giving you these words to share with the world. Currently I am battling Cancer. I was diagnosed 1 year after my husband of 30 years had Cancer & went to his heavenly home 2 years ago. I miss him dearly but the Lord has been my Provider in ALL areas of my life. I thank God I am not alone. This song gives me hope & I will RISE. May the Lord immensely bless you & everyone who needs hope to RISE 😊

I found a Danny Gokey shirt today at a second hand store near me. It had the title to this song. I had to buy it because God used it to speak to me and encourage me because I was have a discouraging couple days and overall the past few years have had lots of changes and some difficult. When I left the store I put this song on my phone and listened to it the whole way home. Felt so encouraged! So thankyou so much! I can't wait to starting wearing the shirt too as a reminder for me to keep on rising and shining for Jesus!❤
I went to Danny Gokey's concert at the Civic Center last night and it was amazing!😍 This was one of the many amazing songs he sang. I absolutely love this song, it has to be one of my favorite songs! Yess!! This brought tears to my eyes because it's so true to me! I have failed so many times at so many things I just want to give up sometimes because I can never do it on my own. I wasn't made to do life alone, I know, but I keep trying and I always fail every time. It reminds me to Rise and go to God for healing, to ask God and seek him, to Rise and focus on the important things! All of us fall occasionally, and it's great to be reminded that we can Rise up again no matter what. God thank you

When i was 10 years old. I always thought when he said "A radient light" i always thought he said "radiate her eyes". I don't know how or why. All jokes aside. This song has brought me out of dark times. Cause of all the medical conditions/problems has me ina really bad spot. But when i listen to this song it like restores me. Makes me stronger. This song got me out of my depression, and showed me that I can be a confident young Believer and not be afraid of what others think of me. Jesus saved us all, we just have to take the step and accept that gift, then live it.
I literally broke down crying listening to this because it made me realize how much my despair correlated with my disconnection from God. I ended up straying off the path I had tried to walk under God and then I ran in fear trying to handle all of my problems myself or relying on friends who ended up making me feel worse. The tears turned into tears of happiness once I realized that fixing that connection was in my power to do so, and now I feel so empowered by him and it feels amazing! I wish for everyone reading this to feel empowered as well and to not be afraid to reach out to the ONE AND ONLY person who can truly heal your spirit.

As sad as I am that he is leaving my church, I am so happy for him because he finally has gotten to have the opportunity to do what he was created to do and what his heart yearned for. He is going out to the nations to spread God's love through physically going to them and also through television that will be cast around the world! Praise God!
