I know surgery on the brain is very scary as my daughter and 2-year-old granddaughter had surgery for AVM on the brain (a blood vessel that was blocked and burst). My Granddaughter passed away in January 2023 because she was born with a lot of health challenges.

I used to hate people happy, hated when they smile, I was so bitter, I couldn't stand myself, my Mom bought me a ticket to go US for a while cause I was having so many problems with gangs, my problems followed me everywhere, but one day I heard a piano in a small church, I got in and suddenly I was on my knees crying out loud, I got back to Jesus that day , took a phone, called my mom and I told her: Mom I know you are praying for me , Jesus has given me another opportunity. I was an atheist for 25+ years. Also hated Christians. But in August 2020, broken, hurt, confused, I decided to make a desperate prayer. "God, I don't know if you're real, but if you are, show me - and I will follow you. I cannot live like this anymore."
A short while later, that's when I experienced the Holy Spirit come upon me, physically. Like electricity. I saw a vision too, of Jesus. In his hands there was living water of light (back then I didn't even know this was mentioned in the Bible).
That's when I knew God was real, Jesus is real. And I gave my life to Christ since that day. I signed up to become a missionary for YWAM soon after.
Life has been so much better. Yes, there are struggles still. But living my days knowing there is a living God who loves each of us, who still speaks to us, who can do signs and wonders and will never forsake us - it makes all the difference in the world.

12yr old here, was baptized at 7 and was the biggest christian in my friend group for the longest time. this used to be my favorite song and I just found it again after hearing on the radio. I was starting to drift from god over the past couple years and I started going to youth group at my church and got invited to a camp. at said camp i pulled back to god and felt the holy spirt for the first time in years. i was depressed and had suicidal thoughts before the camp none of that has happened since then. the camp was one month ago this weekend. THANK YOU GOD!!

I have been scrolling through the comments and I've noticed that lots of people are struggling with certain sins. Here is my advice for you.
Stop trying to conquer the sin for the Lord. It's impossible. Instead turn to the Lord and include him in your everyday activities. In doing so, the sin itself will get completely replaced with the Lord's presence❤❤❤❤it worked for me and God is saying it will work for you too ❤❤trust Him
Prayers for those struggling or used to be struggling with drugs and alcohol. Very amazing to see one now sober that asked for prayer! Praise God! If anyone that reads this could also pray for me to be delivered from addiction I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you all. Jesus Christ is King! I get in my own way in the flesh.

Im literally crying right now. This is the first time ive heard this song. Im a drug addict in recovery. I grew up in church, a southern baptist church, and the people there were so judgmental. But i went to events like Aquire the Fire and World Changers and i felt that connection so strong. The energy in those stadiums and auditoriums literally gave me cold chills. I loved it. But i strayed off. My dad, the deacon of my church, cheated on my mom, the treasurer, with the piano player at my church and with that and all the judgement i got because i was a skateboarder with long hair and tighter pants was really off putting. Im almost 27, i was on drugs for 13 years and ive been clean 9 months tomorrow and for so long ive felt like ive just been a shell of a person. When someone has tried to talk to me about jesus ive had a little bit of resentment. Not towards God, although i have had the thought a few times in active addiction of "why would this be Gods plan for me" or "if youre real please take me away from this" but i never stopped believing in Him. Only the people at church i stopped believing in, and i know everyone at church isnt that way but i had a lot of negative encounters with church goers. When i was detoxing off of fentynal in the hospital, having seizures and hallucinations, i prayed the entire time for God to help me through it and he answered that prayer and because of that, im alive. I know without his help, i wouldnt have been strong enough to make it through. This song though, the words, ive felt exactly like this for so long and i think i know why now. "All my life ive been told i belong at the end of the line, with all the other 'not quites' with all the 'never get it rights' but it turns out theyre the ones you were looking for all this time" has never felt more true in my life. Thank you for this. God is so good and without a doubt is the reason im alive.

I've loved this since the days of my youth. I actually sang this song as duet in church before as a young youth guy. A lady sang with me. We did a magnificent job on the presentation of the song. I could identify with the whole song because I wasn't a horrble youth. I had my own sin to contend with any rate. I always felt guilty for my sin even when I read in the about mercy and grace.

I'm a former athiast. Raised in the church but ran as soon as I could. I didn't get back for almost 20 years. During that time I became an addict. Alcohol was my god for a long time. I went to rehab and then I went to church. The same church I grew up in accepted me even when I told every member what my life had been. Jesus was with me that night. I know my past isn't easy to digest but they all are there for me when I struggle. The church is family. We are family but we can't turn people away for any reason. I was turned away alot in my addiction by the churches around me. But my home church showed me how to show people the peace I found the love. Now like the song says I'm just a nobody and I'm gonna tell everybody every chance I get. I love you all and God bless you like this song blessed me.
