I can see a space in which the person looks as they usually do in real life and the premise of the video might not have anything to do with that. Actually I had to look at it second time to see how things look. However I think it is so much irresponsible to do that while spreading misinformation or any alone. It kinda is the same lie because they're making all up on a first place, so that "hyppotetic" no more is, they're targeting one's thoughts - that's responsibility everyone must understand. So basically what I'm trying to say is - if you never saw a person represantitive of society do something - don't assume than, and if you happen to see one just always remember people are people, can't expect so much similarity.

Really should've ended with the teacher saying "Sorry, didn't understand, maybe I can learn some things from my students after all." something dumb and corny like that. Instead it ends with the whole class bullying this trans kid out of the room and acting like they were the one in the wrong, when they were totally chill the whole time and was justifiably annoyed. Like, if your teacher says "They/them refer to multiple people and not individuals", I feel like you get to make fun of them no matter what... Even if it has nothing to do with trans people and they just say something that generally dumb.

I think a good reason videos like this go viral and people think they're real is because they're only paying attention to the main people. They don't pay attention to side "actors" or the backgrounds. They're too caught up in the shock factor to realize its fake. The only thing I'd say that gives it away as fake is what she was writing on the board and the light in the background.
And imo, saying what you would do if it happened to you isn't saying you believe the video is real. I mean, I'm pretty confident we all do this when watching a TV show or movie. Like when you're watching a horror movie, you critique the character by saying you would do it differently. That doesn't mean you think the horror movie is actually real.

Hanging fluorescent lights cost like $120 for enough to light that room and would go a long way to sell the lie even better. The fact that they're using film lights and a ceiling fan light shows how little effort they put into it.

before even looking at the evidence, just remember rule number one: ask the question "why is this being filmed?"

But then you're not on trend anymore. You don't feel as much pressure to wear uncomfortable things. Your cultural vocabulary stagnates. You are now old.

The person documenting it obviously whipped out their phone and started recording after the iconic line was said.
They then prompt the teacher to say it again, so they have evidence of what had just occurred.
