Hi, Sandy! His name is pronounced pretty much like Joh Shen, and every time I see this video, I am reminded yet again why he is one of my four most favourite singers. Such a beautiful voice, such mastery! This performance was from Super Vocal and I thought he should be one of the six winners/finalists of that show. But the female judge, Shang Wenjie, of the primary three producers/judges said on one of his songs that he did not "finish" the song. ????? And so he was marked down lower than some of the others. My fave of the finalists was A Yun Gaa, or however it's spelled, the one who seemed like a natural leader in the course of the show. I'm glad you like/love? Shen. He's awesome and lovely. He also sings Con Te Partiro on Super Vocal [made famous by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman] Check out that one for reaction potential. And thank you so much for reacting to this one. Is Shang Wenjie also called Laure? I recognize her from Hua Chenyu's Superboy audition. She was the only one who wanted to put him through. She also signed Dimash so I am surprised she didn't choose Zhou Shen. This guy is amazing. I will be reacting to more of his work. 💕💕💕
☺smylyface☺ The situation is a little bit more complicated, Zhou Shen's contract with his agency is almost expired (lol that what u call it?), he was recommended to go on this show by someone else, but his agency (more focused on reality show production and doesn't really care about the singers under their name) signed him up for a bunch of other random commercial performances. There was a time clash, so you don't see Zhou Shen in the first couple of episodes after episode 2 of Super Vocal, but they needed a reason for it, since Shang is not only the producer but one of the investors of the show, it was up to her. She doesn't have anything against Zhou Shen, it was just the way the situation had to work out, in fact she seems to like him (I mean just look at her reaction) and she helped to introduce him plus the other contestants in the episode where actual producers in the musical industry and stuff were invited to comment on the 'reality' of this kind of music in the market today.

I don't think so, though I guess it's possible. Laure is Dimash's booking agent and a damn' good singer in her own right as is Shang.
