'Memory' is from the musical 'Cats' and the performance you are reacting to was from 4 years ago in a TV show in China called 'Super Vocal'. To tell you a bit of his background. He got bullied a big-time when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. His voice didn’t crack, when he was younger his voice was in even higher pitch. Only went deeper as he grew older. You can say he’s a total late bloomer. He is the hardest working singer I ever known. After graduated from Ukraine, he return to China and continues to study in Chinese opera and voice acting. Even now he kept finding old legends of various music artists and sing with them. Some frgotten old songs. Not only he have both wide range in vocal and genres, he also have great personality. His genres are Mandarin pop, Rock, mostly ballades, role plays (singing different characters in different voices). Sometimes he would mix western classics or Chinese opera with pop or rock. It was his greatest even it was a small portion, he wish to get the younger generation interest. So the world won’t forget one of it’s old treasures. I love how he express his emotion through his songs. Another I love about him is his style and arrangement in music is always kept changing. He’s like a treasure box.
