Yeah the bi-pod is great, but your video is fantastic. Really, UA-cam needs to set up a how to do youtube videos using this video as a study guide. I get so sick and tired of these people first talking for a min or two or three about stuff that has nothing to do with the topic of what the video is supposed to be about . You are direct and have very good methods of directing the viewer to what elements of the bi-pod you intended to display. Also I appreciated how you explained the elements of the bi-pod; you used technical words to describe the various functions and mechanisms but not a lot of industry jargon that only people in that world know(i.e. those who are heavily into shooting), this allowed the learning experience to be uncluttered and clear. I think you have found another revenue stream, and at the very least thank you for restoring, in some small way, my faith in human intelligence. Oh yeah, the bi-pod is great too.

Wow, excellent video! My BT46-PSR is on its way to me and this video really affirmed my decision to buy it. I bought it mainly based on its reputation for being well-designed, well-built, and completely worth the higher price. This video just demonstrated a number of ways of using it that I hadn't considered. Some of the things show I doubt would work as well with a lower quality bipod.

I have been a Harris user since the 70s...I was skeptical of these...and the price...but I am a believer now. Superior design, superior quality. This unit can replace a number of pieces of kit. It's actually a great value.

This is a helpful video. I'd love to have an Atlas bipod for my AR-15, but sadly, the Atlas is way too expensive for my budget.
I instead got a UTG Heavy Duty Recon 360 bipod, which is still very nice, but I can already see some features on the Atlas that are better, like having the leg extension release on the lower part of the leg. The Recon 360 requires me to use both hands to extend the legs. I also imagine the Atlas is both stronger and lighter, as the Recon 360 has some heft to it.
Still, the Recon 360 has 360 degree panning, and it tracks well. Mine is the bigger model, with min height at 8.12" and max at 11.97" which I like because the classic 6"-9" never seems to be enough for a tall guy like me.
Anyway, great video, and if anyone reading this is trying to decide between the Atlas and the more economical UTG Heavy Duty Recon 360, I strongly advise you get the Atlas - if you can afford it. If you can't, the Recon 360 is a pretty good substitute, and is WAY better than the CVLife bipods (which I have on my crossbow). Man, I really want an Atlas... maybe I'll get one after getting a job that pays better.

I just got the atlas BT46-LW17, and holy cow! This thing is a tank, and it’s so awesome. I think I ruined myself for all other bipods. It has and does everything I have ever wanted in a bipod plus more. Way to go atlas. This is a grand slam and a total slayer of all other bipods. I will buy another (as soon as I can afford one) lol. They’re pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for and this is no exception. Wel thought out controls and layout. The almost infinite amount of combinations you can do with this thing. I’m impressed!
Also your video showed me things and possibilities I never even knew about this bipod. Well done on the video as well. I’m an atlas fan for sure!
I do have a question. Mine has a little play in the legs in all positions and yours doesn’t appear to have it. Is it Norma to have a tad of play or are mine too loose? I got them brand new from a reputable dealer. Either way I love them. I’m jus curious.

    • @Lapinmiez

Im willing to bet that 400$ atlas gives you a product that lasts longer than cheap bipods bought with same amount of money put together.
If you only hang your rifles on a wall sure get a 20$ knock off but in actual use atlas offers way more value for the money because it actually works and doesnt break.
