- This Dallas area home got a lot of updates! All new replacement windows and two steel patio door systems. In this video, we'll review the ProVia Legacy steel doors and the features that set ProVia apart from the competition. We'll also be shadowing our master installer, Pete, and explain what goes into an expert door installation.
The Legacy door system is actually a front entry door. ProVia gives customers lots of customization options which allowed us to design it so that it looked more like a typical patio door with lots of glass.

I agree with about everything you said but the leaving shims out of the door for future adjustments you said earlier in the video about taking extra steps to secure the jack stud into the king for movement, just shim the door all way round and be done with the frame of the door.
I used to love Brennan. I had a remodel done years ago & they replaced my windows & slider. However, after some years the slider wouldn't open & it was supposed to be under a lifetime warranty. They basically stiffed me & wouldn't send out anyone to even look at it unless I paid them $300. They did my insulation as well. So, I recently bought a new door & went with someone else to get it.

I checked the house over always do when I’m coming in to make sure it’s safe and everything it’s locked up good nobody’s here.
I woke up between twelve and one I didn’t know why I’d woke up or somebody to wake me up. As long as I know is all because if I. Woke up I feel a little grumpy. So I’ve came out of the bedroom started towards the kitchen.

Never heard of Provia doors. Thanks for educating me. We are having a Legacy 20 gauge smooth Steel Patio Door with Blinds installed for our Basement entry door. Expensive but sounds like it's going to be a great Security door & Great looking also?👍🏾🙏🏾 New SUBBIE!?

Thanks! It really does look Great. I'm glad we got it. We are thinking about purchasing another door for our Sunroom soon. I hope supply is better than the time we had to wait for that basement door. It took forever...but was worth the wait!☺️

What kind of costs would one expect in 2022 for Provia? I got an initial quote of $41000 for a steel door half window, two side lights, transom above with decorative glass with barcelona iron. I got the price down to $24000 but this is more than I paid for 38 new windows for the entire house last year!!!

What's a door like this cost range wise? I'm hearing quotes between 5 and 8k per door is that right for fiberglass?
Probably in that range. I got quoted $5500 for a steel door with a little less glass
I got the highest end steel door full glass with Krypton gas for way less than that

These doors are not cheap. Having said that I don't know of a better door in the US. They are made by real craftsman in Amish Country Ohio. If you know of a better made door with tons of designs and options fill me in. I don't.
this is not the correct installation for the legacy door I just bought PER the manufactures instructions. the brick mold cladding is supposed to be removed and this door should have screws through the brick mold to the house and header, you have nothing holding the actual door frame tight against the house
