As said in the video, a CT scan uses 100 times more radiation than a chest x-ray. The radiation does not stay in in your system because the radiation source is external. A CT scan is somewhat dangerous, so it is reserved for serious medical conditions.

My 7 year old son had 2 kub CT scans within 11 months. Is it that bad?

Gotta weigh-in the risk to benefit factor. Yes xray for KUB is pretty high bit since it is now digital xray less radiation is used. So technically it isnt so bad. But there is a threshold. So becareful. If xray and ct scan keeps being use in your son, there will be consequences.
