thankyou for making these videos. I am about to attempt to pull my hemi lump out for the fist time and had no idea where to start, these three part videos are going to be very helpful in the near future.
any tips on how to separate them? currently mine wont everything has been taken off bolt wise, i believe its just stuck cause of the pins but not to sure
Hey man, I'm working on my ram 5.7 on the ground. The last time I did this was on a lift. My question is, how the heck do I get the engine and transmission to mate? The engine is mounted, but the transmission will not mate back up to it.
It’s always so frustrating when things like that happen. Did your torque converter come out? That has happen to me so many times. Make she it’s clicks three times when you spin it in. Sometime you have to stand it up on the nose cone to get it in. Hopefully you can get it to go in without doing that! Hopefully this helps.
@csautomotive12 It's actually a 5-speed manual. I'm honestly thinking the pilot bearing might be the issue. So far, if I lift or lower the transmission, it closes on the top or bottom of the bell housing. I appreciate the response!

@@MC_23 I see. Did you use an alignment to when you put the clutch back on the new motor?
Yup. Mashed the pilot bearing. I bought a new clutch kit. She's running perfectly now!
@@MC_23 That’s good to hear!
