Jake, you're killin' me! I recently picked up BP Savage 1 and TYR CTX1 Trainer, maybe slight buyer's remorse after seein' this vid, but these look awesome. 🙂
I think this trainers sounds promising. Sizing on the F-Fly was borderline perfect, so I think the standard width will be the one. I wonder if that explains the laces and added material. Will you try the standard width Jake?
I will once inov8 bring them to their site. I don’t trust road runner sports normally and this is a reminder of why NGL 😂 You’ll love their fit if you liked the f fly
@@thatfitfriend oddly enough I ordered my F-Fly from Box Basics but it shipped from Road Runner 🤔- I think sometimes Box Basics must outsource shipping to them for stuff they don’t keep in their own warehouse
@@Dolphinado a lot of it is drop shipping and I’m sure they source from diff spots so that checks. I’m building out TF2’s ecomm platform and I’m learning a lot about this side of the biz!
Hey Jake, could you recommend a shoe for me? Thinking these or the primitive savage 1s might be a good fit (want a wider fitting shoe). Currently using Tolos as a do it all shoe; but they’re a bit harsh on the feet for some of the plyo work I do (bounds, skater jumps, depth jumps, etc). A typical workout is usually something like cleans, split squats, lateral lunge and single leg RDL with some plyo work sprinkled in. Also have a day or two a week with some “speed work” sprints and change of direction stuff. Any help would be appreciated!
Either would be solid, imo! Inov8's heel can be a little harsher for some plyo contexts, but have been great for most other things. BP Savage 1 would prob feel a little more seamless for you since they have a lower drop.
Thanks for the review, not arrived in France yet but I’m thinking about a trick for my small flat wide feets: I need a 6.5 US (242 mm in metrics with Inov8) and they don’t have anything in that size in men’s shoes, but as all models seems wide enough, could wearing women’s shoes be an option for me ? I’m 2E wide and they only have the standard option in the France’s official webstore at Inov8, though the outlet is offering nice shoes (G300 lite) for 70€. Your thoughts about it ? No weightlifting per se, only HIIT cardio + plyo + muscle reinforcement with kettlebells and elastic bands.
If you don't mind a tapered midfoot then you should be fine with the G 300! Their toe box is decent, but midfoot can feel offputting at times. May be worth waiting for the Max. I think they'll be out on the normal site soon!
Would you say it’s wider than the adidas drop set 2 trainer? I’m used to vivo barefoot shoes and wish there was a shoe as wide as them but with a slight heel for cross training. I currently use Reebok nano 9’s bc they’re decently wide but I wish they were a little wider
I'm always looking for shoe with a wide forefoot but a slimmer heel fit. Lots of shoes just kind of flop around on my heel and thats terrible for sprints and plyos.
Dude. Thanks! So just a generalist shoes for casual walking (*more like commuting to work) in the city is what I am looking for. You know how nike has waterproof (trail) shoes like Pegasus Trail, something like that would do. I own an old pair of their react shield shoes. Black upper with a white outsole (onyx style), and I like the design, but the functionality has failed me. Thx.
I think they’re trying to increase security and durability. That’s the vibe I get with them at least. Their breathability isn’t too bad for what it’s worth. Have a few outdoors workouts this week and it will be pretty hot so stay tuned!
@@hoyiuc it’s interesting. These def have a lifting bias to em, and I’m curious if they’ll keep the 300s once these are fully out Good move, imo! I always stock up on fave pairs, too 😅

Haha, no buyers remorse. These will be out for a while so no need to feel rushed or pressured for em!

They feel a bit wider due to their upper feeling more spacious!

Can you recommend something to just wear (not train) on a rainy day? Serious question. 😂

The knit upper was good, not sure why going back to mesh… Thicker rubber is a plus though.

The G300 is more versatile from the looks of it, so far I don't see any durability issue... Stocked one more pair anyway they are so cheap now.

@@hoyiuc dang I missed that - time to stock up then.
Wonder what they’ll replace the 235/260 with
adidas/air max 90 vibes
I could see that!
