Two days ago i couldn't figure out how to move the camera, but with the help from blender guru's tutorials today I built a modern kitchen render completely independently. You can do it too. (This is not a paid AD, I genuinely recommend it a lot)

Maybe you "suck" at doing cars but you are great at doing characters. Try something else and then try to go back to that project that was hard, like those cars. Or you'll discover that you are better at something else or you will find out why you were struggling. Win-win scenario for you.

ARENG NIGHTCORE Learn some programming (or just used Drag And Drop game IDE's). Then make and publish your own games. Start with lots of really small games, and work up to bigger projects as your skills increase. Make all the models and effects for your game. Then even if your games never do well, you could easily get a job at any industry as an asset artist where you'll make anywhere from 70k-120k+ a year.
At first, I was like "Hey, this is cheating! You're already starting off in a decently good position! How much better can you get after this?" Welp, towards the end I was dumbfounded! Camera movements and nitpicks about hyper-realistic lighting -- just on-point! Keep it up! Would love to hear about your secrets of how you kept yourself motivated for the improvements! :)

I remember watching this before I started to learn blender and thinking about giving up. It's been a year and I'm baking my scene for an unreal engine VR presentation. Thank you for the motivation. This video really helped me.

Nah, blender is just now starting to become an amazing program to work with. I barely use it and am already making pixar quality renders with it. It's lots of fun.

I can relate, just without the progress.
Uff... now that was inspiring! i Started with blender this week, and i can just hope to be that good one day.
But this motivatet me to start blender again, and push trough the tutorial i made today again, just to secure my basics.

I don't know. Sometimes you should restart your project with fresh ideas and motivation if you are struggling on the same project since a long time.
Maybe you "suck" at doing cars but you are great at doing characters. Try something else and then try to go back to that project that was hard, like those cars. Or you'll discover that you are better at something else or you will find out why you were struggling. Win-win scenario for you.
same for me i have no trust in my self that i can build characters but i think i will be good at enivrement buildings but idk if blender can make me carry my life and my future wife...feelsbadman
ARENG NIGHTCORE Learn some programming (or just used Drag And Drop game IDE's). Then make and publish your own games. Start with lots of really small games, and work up to bigger projects as your skills increase. Make all the models and effects for your game.
Then even if your games never do well, you could easily get a job at any industry as an asset artist where you'll make anywhere from 70k-120k+ a year.

Thanks, I really appreciate ;) I don't really know my "secrets" but when I really want to make something in Blender, I always work hard for it. It can take months but I know I can succeed. Hope I make sense..
