I just discovered this project recently and I’m ecstatic! I love Tomodachi Life, and I was getting pretty disappointed that Nintendo didn’t seem to have any plans to create a newer with more diversity and gameplay. So I was super happy when I heard about this project. It’s just about everything I wished Tomodachi Life had, but it still separates itself super well. New Day looks amazing so far and I can’t wait play it eventually! Good luck with development btw, I know how difficult it can be at times.
This game is gonna be so peak 🙏 and I really appreciate the development team being extremely transparent with the status of the game! Just want to ask though: will New Day be available to play on Mac or will that port be worked upon after its initial release?

@@CigarRatboy After the full release of the game, which will probably be a few years from now (hopefully), I'll work on porting the game to Mobile (android) after all bugs/updates are finalized and the game is 100% complete.

Will the villager limit be higher than 100? Oh and also, You guys should also add a workshop for like food, clothing, etc because like imagine people creating unique clothing and/or foods from all over the world or fictional or whatever

I just tried out the islander creator portion of the demo. It seems really fun! I'm really happy that the game is so inclusive. I have a suggestion tho. Do you think you could consider making a gender option for genderfluid people?
may i give a small criticism? when you click on stuff the little sun and moon particles are a little annoying. i'm not sure if that's just me though. i'm very excited for this game nonetheless! i also think more hair styles would be nice. short and long hair styles both equally
oh! also facial hair as an option would be nice. different varieties of that as well. and about the hair thing, the issue i have is that there's basically no "medium" length that is more masculine. by that i mean like a slight mullet or something is what i need, because a lot of my characters have that (and some of my friends as well) and i'd like to portray them more accurately.
New Day does not have an official final release date as of yet. Early Access is planned for December 2024 as of current, but that can change at a whim due to how unpredictable game development can be.

@ThatGuySethIsTaken Honestly it was a long time coming. We knew the island needed to be reworked eventually to be able to hold more buildings.
I love the amount of customization available, and being able to move islanders seems like such a cool feature! Awesome work!

@@Theo-i3w The workshop feature is planned for later on in development. And there is no limit for how many islanders can reside on your island.

Hm, if you played on a previous build before the eye/eyebrow customization, then you'll need to start a new game and remake your islanders.

You can actually disable the sun and moon effects in options!
Facial hair is planned eventually and more hairstyles will eventually come. We're very tight on modelers right now. We're trying our hardest.
