Looking fwd to this review. This, the Pro Art studio 16 (with dial also from Asus) and the new Mac M1 pros are my top choices. My 2nd tier choices are the Lenovo legion 7i and the Gigabyte Aero. I'm looking into getting into content creation but also want a laptop that I can use for my day job. So I hope the battery life is acceptable.
looking forward to this review. i hope you really show the dual screen off and its usage cases. Also i would like to know about fan noise/heat levels when using this laptop in heavy usage. does it heat up pretty bad?
@@JosephKim I noticed that elsewhere you wrote 5.25lb (the weight of the laptop itself alone) But here you say 4lb Can you give me for sure the weight of the laptop only?
Hello. I actually purchased it about a month back but the battery is weak and it lags a bit when not plugged in (unlike the Hp Spectre i previously had). Though it seems a great beast
Hi Joseph. I'm in the same profession as you and have previously used Dell precision laptops at work. I want to get my own personal laptop but precisions are very highly priced. I also wont frequently be using my own for architecture and when I do I'll be using splash top remote access. Do you have a recommendation for a more affordable range laptop that can occasionally run AutoCAD, Revit and adobe suite software. I don't do any rendering (so don't need that kind of power) as I'm more technical drawing end.
You can certainly use regular laptops without dedicated GPUs. I currently use Dell XPS 2in1 for such purpose, but Asus makes zenbook series like that too.
@@JosephKim My current laptop 17” MSI is too small screen for multiple applications going back-and-forth. I’m looking for an external monitor to display programs side-by-side. Then, I want it to be a tablet w touchscreen and stylus pen for markups and sketches. Then 4K for editing travel videos so I can see all it’s glory. All for $300.

@Joseph Kim ok I'm ordering the duo zen pro tonight, I only see the 15 tho, hey dose it have a SD card insert, it says it does but I didn't see it on this review?
6:00 this part was a bit cringe, seeing your ring almost?? scrape across the whole laptop. People really need to be careful of the rings and bracelets and whatever metals they have whenever they handle these things

Finishing up my video now. The battery life is surprisingly good. (understanding that it has two screens and powerful components)

I will look into that. On initial testings, Temps are managed quite well.

@@nisimnisim4234 thanks for pointing this out. 5.2lb(2.4kg) is the correct weight of this.
I would really suggest trying out the sticky stand. I didn't think I would use mine but after I tried it out, I never use it without anymore
Is it because of the heat? Or just overall ergonomics?
@@JosephKim ergonomics. Specifically, it gives the lower screen a much better viewing angle.
@@INTERNETDWARF I thought it might be a bit awkward to type with it though?
@@JosephKim not really any different in my experience. Your mileage may vary though. The elevation matters less up front and more in the back I think.

hello, am inquiring if this laptop can charge through the USB C port. You didn't show it yet you mentioned you would
There is the review video where I mentioned it!
Alright then. Kindly share the link if you don't mind

Could you magnetically stick the stylus pen to the laptop ? And could you also change the graphics card ?
No for both. Unfortunately.
Hi , can you recommend this laptop for Revit software , enscape rendering and VR headset?
Thanks,
I will be doing some benchmarks on that!
Does it come with 11th gen intel and 16G 3080? This is kind of last year model....?

The laptops don't usually come with a mouse. This one didn't. I don't get to keep these laptops. I have to return them after the review.
Will they be making a 17inch do u know?
