I appreciate that this review is super user-focused. It’s clear that Vladimir has really used the product and has thought about all the pros and cons that might actually be important for a consumer who would use the laptop regularly.
I felt this laptop was evaluated from a user / gamer perspective and not a creator perspective. Few laptops offers a color accurate display (Calman and Pantone verified), 4K 60fps and 100% DCI-P3 color space. Instead of having game features from ROG line, it has ProArt Creator Hub, that allows to use secondary screen as control panels with Adobe suite. It also allows for regular calibration with i1Display Pro devices. Studio NVidia drivers should be used instead game-ready drivers for stability. This laptop makes more sense for creatives that requires critical-color applications (photography, video editing, 3D rendering)... if the priority is a gamer laptop / business / study use, look somewhere else.
Noted, perhaps I didn't focus enough on the content creation side. However I watched pretty much every review on the laptop and it seemed that was all I saw as everyone talked about how great it was for editing and content creation. I used it a lot for that I even made this video on it. I just wanted to focus on certain things that I didn't see talked about a lot. Thanks for watching, I agree with your analysis above too 👍
Do you mean that you want to put the whole resolve window on the second screen or you are trying to separate windows of resolve between top and bottom?
I love the reviews that are 3 months later or 1 year later or whatever. They're so much more helpful than the ones where they use it for a day or a week and just read the spec sheet. Thanks for your effort
I agree. A lot of reviews that I've seen are always hyping products that creators just got their hands on, but not necessarily covering the real cons of the items.
@@RayBeliveau Couldn't agree more! When I am shopping for items I always find long term reviews more useful so that's what I'm trying to emulate on my channel. Thanks for watching :)
Great review. I have the maxed out version and so far it’s great. I, actually, really like and prefer this keyboard layout to those of regular laptops. You don‘t have to lay your arms on the edge of the laptop and it’s much more comfortable, just like a separate keyboard. I am an architect, so for me the trackpad is never an issue, because I NEVER use it. I always use a separate mouse. The only thing I don‘t like is the weight of the battery. The pen works fine, it’s not as smooth as the Apple pen, but pretty good regardless. The speakers are great.
Pretty good review. I am tired of people unboxing and just reading spec. The user focused pov is refreshing. So nice. My only objection is that I never put a laptop on my lap without a board, as it blocks the cooling fans.
@@VladimirKostek 6:30 wrong about cooling. The space under the second screen is the intake, not exhaust, so you won't feel any air being pushed upwards. Because the intake is on top of the laptop and exhaust is on the sides, you don't have to worry about suffocating the bottom of the laptop unlike a traditional laptop. Cooling is pretty genius and efficient, can use on the bed without closing off airflow.
@@UrdnotAkongo you are right about it being good on a bed, I don't think it's the best though typically you don't want to be pulling air from above as heat rises, that's all I was trying to get across. The laptop definitely ran hot sometimes on the CPU side too. I'm excited to see the latest zenbook duo models...looks like they improved some things 👍
Thanks brotha! My aim is to review mostly things I actually use and for more of an extended period of time as that's what I always find useful when buying products myself. Thanks for watching 👍
But did the CAD software work with the graphics? What CAD programme do you use? I am thinking of getting this lap top but my concern is it would struggle with 3Ds and rendering.
I got the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX Hexadeca-Core-Prozessor 4090 GTX Duo 16 version of this and it is insane. I'm using it for Blender, Unreal 5, zbrush and video editing, and the dual screens makes it a dream machine. I'm basicly making a game with this laptop.
Used this device and within 3 months started giving issue with starting (power button) but after so many round of service center opening finally came to know this was not issue with power button it was with main display panel. Removing touch screen wire resolved issue while troubleshooting then replaced it Laptop is good and keyboard mouse is very smooth. Performing is best
Does your screen look grainy? mine looks like it has a "mesh" of black dots, especially when looking closely at white images. I am not sure if this is normal or a problem specific to the unit I received.
@@Rick-v Hey Ricardo, yes it does I believe that is because of the digitizer (touch capability) it is normal. A bit annoying when looking at white images but not a deal breaker in my opinion. I'm hoping the next refresh which should be out sometime this year won't have that!
@@Rick-v haven't seen display problem highlighted by you. Raise support ticket with Asus and they will replace it. For me i got complete refund because seller sold refurbished laptop as new. Now using Asus Scar Strix 15. But still Zenbook Pro Duo was best build/look/technology wise.
super practical review. Enjoyed listening to all the nuances you mentioned of this device that other reviews overlook. for example it taking about 3 strides to go horizontal on the trackpad. very nice & real review
Great job with this review. This thing is a beast, I can imagine hauling it around everyday getting tiring. The wedge seems annoying to bring with you, and like you said if it was magnetic it would be a much better experience. For the price I would expect a better webcam. I really like the design though, very unique. I am looking forward to the Studiobook review!
Right on, it's a really cool laptop and excited to see how it evolves, Asus' innovation is quite exciting to me. For the studiobook i'm actually leaning towards the 120hz IPS QHD Panel (hasn't launched yet) as i'm thinking the battery life might be better with less pixels and it would be way smoother for gaming. Thoughts? Open to other laptop suggestions too :)
Here's a thought. There are thin magnetic strips you can purchase; maybe buy those and add it to the computer and wedge(?). I really like this laptop so I'm strongly considering. But I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome. So we will see.
I feel that weight and thickness are not a problem for people using this for freelance and corporate design tasks. You make your investment back pretty fast depending on your projects and sector within the design industry. The portability of this vs a desktop for travel-intensive entertainment design & creation is very appealing.
All good points, if you are going to only have one machine then I can definitely see this having great value proposition. My scenario is different I have several powerful desktops so for my mobile setup I would like something a little slimmer since i don't need all that power on the go. My bag is always full with camera gear, drones etc. Are you considering getting one?
@@VladimirKostek Yes I hope to get the next model in September! If it’s ready & shipping by then. ASUS is usually good about improvements and they prob saw this vid 😉.
I had one and also returned it. It's a design marvel and they will perfect this one day. For now, I just couldn't live with the ergonomics. I like to use my laptop on my lap a lot, and could do with the weight, hinge digging in to my legs etc. What I couldn't live with was the touchpad. I got use to the small size, but the position of your wrist when using it, means you get bad wrist pain. This was only after a few days. Such a shame. If they turned this into a 3:2 aspect ratio, to create more space, they could then centre the touchpad.
Yea I totally feel ya, I actually recorded a section me talking about the laptop TouchPad usage but didn't include it because I thought the video was already lengthy. Oddly I found myself using just my thumb on the track pad for navigating as the ergonomics of it are quite strange on lap. What laptop are you looking at now instead or did you change to?
@@VladimirKostek Well I am still not settled on one... lol. I had the XPS 17 with 3060 and 4k touchscreen. This was nigh on perfect. It's just I needed a more powerful GPU. So sold it after 6 months and bought the Legion 7 with the 3080. The problem with this one is that the QHD screen is ok, but it's only 100% SRGB. Colours don't look great. Am really looking for 3k+ screen, touchscreen and higher end GPU. Not much out there, so considering either Zephyrus S17 4K or Alienware X17 4K, both with 3080. Don't like the 'gamer' design of the Alienware though...
@@spinachpies i gotcha, the XPS is almost perfect. I agree though that chassis with the vapor chamber could def use a 3070 or 3070ti. I am going to review the studiobook OLED 16 soon, have you looked at it? amzn.to/33YlE2P
@@VladimirKostek I've seen it but not really considered it as only comes with a 3060 I thought? Asus is very frustrating with their availability in the UK. It's all over the place.... and release dates take so long. Now considering the Zephyrus S17
It is the best review that I had seen about this PC. I really appreciate your job. Thank you very much. Would be nice to talk about the pen. Everything that we can do with it.
Hi Diana, this was more of a pros and cons vid so I didn't focus on the pen much but here are some facts and observations. It comes with the laptop, the pressure sensitivity was good and it felt smooth ( coming from someone with a stylus in their phone and current laptop) I would say the only downside is the small height of the screen but that isn't too big of an issue with pinching and zooming just might be frustrating if you are drawing all the time, for writing purposes it does the job fine. Hope that helps and thanks for the kind words :)
@@VladimirKostek Thank you very much Vlad, We are really looking for a video with the explanation. I have been using this pc for 3 months and I have not been able to find the advantage of the pencil other than writing notes freehand and I do not know if the hand really has to be very raised to write and it is uncomfortable, since if you rest your hand on the keyboard the stylus doesn't work very well anymore, I don't know if there is a function that disables the keyboard when you use the stylus and I would like to know how to use the stylus and the tips that come in the bag with the pc more, what a difference they have. The truth is that there is very little information about this on the website.
The wedge should've either been much more compact with a hinge to open up for use or been used as a supplemental battery for the laptop especially with the magnetic idea he suggested
Yea good point, did you see the new 2024 version they just announced? I think they fixed a lot of the issues. I put up a community post about it today here www.youtube.com/@VladimirKostek/community
Is it still holding up? Can we get an update? Im about to get into one and i wanna know how its holding up or if any services have been completed on the unit? Thanks keep up the good work.
One thing that I can't find anywhere around and would be an amazing feature for artists is: There's an option where you can turn off the second display and use it as a giant trackpad ( three fingers touch to activate it ), my question is: Can you use the stylus pen on that trackpad-screen or works just with fingers ?! Cause if it is possible to use the pen with the pressure layers, you basically have an integrate bamboo-tablet like, and would be awesome! Thanks
Hey Ronnie, for your first question... that would be really cool, I think I would personally use that if it was a feature! Maybe if I review any of their other two screen laptops I'll mention that in my review. For your second question, yes you can use the second screen with the stylus it works quite well, I used it a few times to draw with and found the angle quite nice to use. Hope that helps!
At this point, why not make it two complete full screens? And the keyboard is touch. My wife has a touchscreen laptop and I usually just click on the item I need or use my finger to scroll.
@@VladimirKostek still using it, my wife has also one, it's great . Looking into the rtx3070 version to run 3 monitors. The graphics card on mine and ram get tipped out.
If it will be useful to someone, then I found a way to draw on the main screen. Buy a matte screen protector. I was happy aback that pen pressure levels work on the main screen as well
As my first laptop search. This looks perfect. Thanks. Heavy fine. Thick dont care. Have never owned a laptop the keyboard is perfect. And two touch screens seals the deal for me.
I can't believe I got it new, sealed in box, for $1750. Insane. So glad I waited. I only need it to stream games to my 800p Steam Deck at 60 fps, so a 3070 is more than enough power for that. Maybe in a year I'll get a desktop for high end VR gaming, when high end VR headsets are out. Should help out with my video editing 100%.
@@VladimirKostek oh just now? Why didn't you make the refundable $5 payment a year ago when it was announced? There was literally no downside to getting in line for a refundable $5. Of course I love it. I'm finally playing my huge steam backlog and it has every control under the sun. I have no compatibility issues with anything and playing PC games in a pick up and play way is just incredible.
No I mean I did the 5$ payment a year ago and it was finally available for me to order this past weekend. Glad you like it so far I'm pumped for it! What has been your favorite game in your backlog? I have quite the list to go thru too haha
@@VladimirKostek Oh I was hoping that's what you meant! Congrats. I ordered two hours late and got it in May. My backlog is astronomical, indies, AAAs. I'm loving Jedi Fallen Order on it. Will probably move onto Battlefront II or MGS5 for my next game.
Great review! Really good insights for using on lap rather than desktop. And ah, too bad they don't use magnets or some sort of attachment for the wrist piece. Thanks so much for this!
Pretty good review especially the pros and cons. The pros are impressive but the cons of weight with the carry-on when out and about may not be comfortable.
Great information here. Real world usage info. I'm thinking of getting this mainly for GIS stuff. I'm leaning towards this because of the dual screen. Would you encourage me to get it or go with something like a Dell precision?
Thank you for this. I was just about to go pick up mine from the store and now I realize that this is definitely not the computer for me as I'm on the go a lot and couldn't deal with that massive power brick or the bulkiness of the machine. I'll stick to my 2021 ZenBook Pro for a while more.
Glad it was helpful, the 2021 zenbook pro is great. Have you looked at the 14.5 inch zenbook duo version they made last year? That one is slightly smaller and doesn't have a ginormous power brick
Great review! Mind sharing the links or letting me know what was the stand u used along with the desk that is mounted to the window? I liked that setup u had.
Thanks for the review man!🔥🤗 Are you using the 10th gen version of 2020 in 2022? I skipped the 11th gen version last year with 3080 and planning to get the 12th gen version with 3060 this year. They've added Smart Amp, thunderbolt 4, and a windows 11 theme key on it. I really need to second screen and good performance, do you think it'll be worthwhile to buy and see if your aforementioned issues has been resolved in the 12th gen model? 🤔
Hello! It was a 2021 model with the 10th gen. I'm really looking forward to the 12th gen version they changed the design and the screen should tilt more. The 14" refresh they launched looks amazing with dual 120hz displays! Excited for the 15 or 16 inch refresh they make! I think the 3060 will work well for ya 😊
This was an excellent review. I'm glad I watched it before ordering. Since the review have you found anything else that would be a better option for multiple screens other than the Zephyrus?
Glad it helped you! I love that little car, that MP4/5 car is from the year I was born. I'm also half Brazilian and I interned at McLaren so thought it was the perfect combo :)
Hey, I have i9 version of this laptop and its only giving me 1 hr of battery backup on using just chrome and watching series. do you think this is back up is less comparatively?
Great video Vladimir. I do have a question though - If you open an app or web page on the second screen, is there an option for it NOT to show up as an open window on the first screen? For eg: If there is screen share for a presentation from the first screen, can the second screen be used independently to access a Web page or another app without it showing up as open on the first screen?
Hey Deepak, I don't have the laptop anymore as I mentioned in the review i returned it. However, I am fairly certain that is not an option. You could probably hide the taskbar within windows so that it wouldn't show apps that are live on the second screen. Hope that helps!
Hi Maria, from what I understand the 14" version doesn't have one. It is thinner than the 15 inch version so the wedge isn't necessary. Hope that helps!
I don’t have this model but I do have the 14 inch with the 10th generation processor. In other words a slightly older model so I wondered about “you need this heavy brick to charge it” because I’ve been able to charge it using the Anker charger I also use for fast charging my iPad Pro and my iPhone (different cable of course at one end). So are you sure that with this model you need the brick? (I only have the extra weight of a USB-C to USB-C cable as I have the charger with me anyway) [At home I use the brick but only to avoid swapping cables on the Anker].
I'd have to double check the specs but pretty sure I recall the 14 inch model having usb c charging. I think it's a variation. The 15+ inch is a much higher wattage so the usb c wouldn't do much to keep the battery churning. Might have been purposefully omitted
@@VladimirKostek No need for you to check. I can confirm that it has usb-c charging which I saw as very much a positive thing (partly because of the lack of need of a special brick!) I must watch out for that in future.
Yes, definitely. The Oled screen is very bright at 550 nits. It also covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut so it is quite accurate colorwise. I did some light photo editing on it and found it great!
@@VladimirKostek ok. But my doubt is the reflective screen interferes in viewing while editing when compared to anti reflective IPS panels. What you think? Thanks for the reply.
@@ksnmurthy4476 You could get a matte screen protector with it, my current laptop has a glossy screen and I have a matte protector on it, works great! Here is one viascreens.com/screen-protector/asus/zenbook-pro-duo-15-oled-ux582/matte-lite
I have no problem with my GPU temps. My CPU was almost at max temps and my GPU had the highest of like 76 Celsius. The cpu ran a consistent 91 Celsius and the max is 100. Downside of having intel due to higher wattage.
I had my gpu go up to 84° at one point so that's why I undervolted it. The CPU does get hot! I think an AMD version would run a lot cooler or perhaps they will upgrade it to the intel 12th gen soon where the e cores and p cores might run a bit cooler 🤞

i recently bought this notebook for work and i already have some issues with it! The secondary screen behaves as a touchpad for the mainscreen . i cannot select anything on the secondary screen without the help of a mouse or the touchpad/numberpad. Now i think i have to send it back in service even if i only had it for 15 days. Maybe i made by mistake a hidden command, without knowing it, but i really don't find how to fix it!

Thanks for this review! Is there a huge difference between RTX3070 and RTX 3080?(I'll be using it for video editing and a few animations in after effects) I'm in dilemma of which one to get! RTX 3080 is quite more expensive than 3070
I think the most important question is are you doing them in a professional capacity or are you doing it on the side for fun? If you are using it for work then the 3080 version with more VRAM makes sense. If it's just for fun or for personal use then the 3070 version could make more sense
Hey, great video. Thanks for listing out the pros and cons in detail. I'm about to order the 11th gen i9 w 3080 soon. My only concern with it is the thermals. Of the cons you mentioned, which one bothered you the most In your decision to return it?
Hey Ashwin! Thanks for watching man. I would say the thermals aren't that big of an issue, especially if you use the bottom adhesive triangle mount they include (mentioned at 10:08) I am just a bit particular to keeping temps very cool so that's why I undervolted. For most scenarios I think the cooling is okay. I would say the con that annoyed me the most was maybe the trackpad but even on my personal laptop I use a mouse maybe 75% of the time so not a huge downside. I think having it become a numpad outweighs the small width. I have a good desktop so perhaps if I didn't i might have kept it as I think it's a great desktop replacement. As I mentioned in the review I think for the right person it's a great laptop. Let me know if you end up getting it!
For the high spec, I would say for daily use is that it should be okay. But the laptop will get hot. If you do some gaming, you’ll get thermal throttling especially on high rendering, MMO games. I have the i7 3070 spec and my cpu gets to 91 degree Celsius but my graphics card stays relatively cool, which means that my cpu bottlenecks my GPU. I would say that i9 would be more of a problem due to higher wattage and higher temperatures
Just got mine and the "4k screen" looks very grainy, especially when looking at white images it is possible to see a "mesh" of black dots. Does it happen to you guys? I am not sure if this is normal or a problem specific to the unit I received.
Hey I just replied to your other comment but here is my response. Yes it does I believe that is because of the digitizer (touch capability) it is normal. A bit annoying when looking at white images but not a deal breaker in my opinion. I'm hoping the next refresh which should be out sometime this year won't have that (Just guessing but not completely sure) basing this off of the 14 inch one they just released.
Great thorough features/design review. I just purchased this on sale so just waiting for it to ship. I was debating on the Zenbook Duo or the Zephyrus Duo 15 but the Zephyrus Duo 16 on sale only had the Ryzen 7 6800H (not a bad CPU) for a similar price of the Zenbook Duo 15 I got ($2000 still in range of my budget). Looks like I'll probably agree with the cons you mentioned but I'll see if it will be a deal breaker once I try it. The other quirk I noticed in another review is the finger print smears are more noticeable on the OLED but I might put a screen protector. I think I got a good price for the Zenbook Duo with i7-12700H, 3060, 16GB, 1TB SSD for $1850. Planning on upgrading the RAM to 32Gb (not sure if that's the max). I saw that you were writing with it, but by any chance did you get to try drawing with the stylus...just to see how accurate strokes were or how the experience was? I am a digital/ 3D artist and animator so was hoping I could have a smooth experience with this. Maybe I'll do a review once I try it myself too. Thanks for sharing your review and looking forward to more.
Glad it was helpful for ya! That does seem like a pretty good deal for the newer 12th gen version. I do draw actually, show that in some other videos I have (Remarkable 2 for example) . The pressure sensitivity is good on the bottom screen the only limiting factor is the vertical height but you can make it work with pinching and zooming around etc. I really did like this laptop its just not 100% what I was looking for in a daily driver, I fell in love with the screenpad+ concept though! So much so that I'm building one for my desktop, will post a vid on that at some point. That's cool, do you have anywhere I can see your work? My personal opinion is that all creative content makers should have a laptop with an i9k processor, 64GB of 5000MHz DDR5 RAM, 2TB of storage, and 17" screen. We call that the real deal.
Hey great review! Would you know if you can map the smaller screen to act as a normal pen tab for the bigger screen? I'm on the verge of buying it since it replicates my work setup really well, I use a screen pen tab as my second screen but remap the input to the bigger screen. So while I draw on the smaller screen and have my references up on it, the actual drawing (photoshop, etc) happens on the bigger screen. Does that make sense? Would love to know before I sell a kidney for this XD
I wanted to get one for streaming and recording, and the second screen is really good for it, but having the power button, the button for turning off the screen, and the button to move windows from one screen to the other, all in the same spot, is really bad. They really need to move the power button away, make alternatives on the screen button so you can make it so you need to hold control down, or the button down for a longer time to turn it off, and then just press to toggle it blank or on. Having the window move button where the power button is today would help, and then the monitor button on the other side... I also got the 3060 version, and its not really that good, i get the same preformance on my old alienware that has a 1070.
@@VladimirKostek I really just tested the same settings in Escape From Tarkov, but i got 43 fps on both laptops with the same settings, it could be bad optimization, but it also felt worse, more unstable. And the duo is so loud in comparison...
@@VladimirKostek Keeping it, its still decent enough to record meetings, and the 2 montitors let me record zoom calls with obs on the second screen, ill just need to be careful not to touch anything once its started.
Some Personal Extras from me i would say 4:16 a bit understandable because ROG is like an Sub Company you could say its one Big Manufacturer but yes they COULD make it Compatible but they not needed becasuse its like 2 different Targets of People like gamers ROG and Zenbooks for more Productive people they an Control Panel App For the Bottom One for Productive work like For the Adobe Softwares 9:30 thats just a Sleeve sleeves are only for the laptop Mostly so it doesnt get scratched or such things 10:20 around its not a good con because you can use the second screen as an Giant touchpad aswell or switch the tpuch setting standart windows settings are not as good as if you go and Configure it
That is true, i just thought it was odd that their own software didn't work on their own machine even though it easily could. About the trackpad yes you can use the bottom screen as one too but then you lose the functionality of the second screen so i wouldn't count that as a true replacement. The standard trackpad at a comfortable sensitivity is all i was mentioning, surely you can turn up the sensitivity but then its too jerky for my liking. All good points, thanks for watching and commenting!

No, I don't so I am not speaking with experience in this particular case. Not that it is bad, no no. I just heard it had 4k display and that cant not run Unreal engine in 4k with a 3070. Sadly more and more games demand Unreal engine.
@simonaarflot4743 I gotcha, from my experience 8gb is enough for most games or applications. In some cases it would benefit turning down settings a bit or lowering the resolution. Not a deal-breaker by any means

Unbiased reviews are difficult to come by these days. Thank you for making this video!

I agree. A lot of reviews that I've seen are always hyping products that creators just got their hands on, but not necessarily covering the real cons of the items.

Glad you are liking it and thanks for watching, would you consider upgrading this year when it refreshes or is it more than you need rn?
Unconfirmed but my guess would be this fall

Pretty good review. I am tired of people unboxing and just reading spec. The user focused pov is refreshing. So nice.
My only objection is that I never put a laptop on my lap without a board, as it blocks the cooling fans.
Thanks for the kind words, any other laptops you are looking at atm? You are right about the cooling not the best on the lap!

@@pondertheorb442 The replacement is going to be pretty cool!

I can confirm that it has usb-c charging which I saw as very much a positive thing (partly because of the lack of need of a special brick!)

@@jujuu1339 the i9 version def gets hotter, I think the i7 might be a better choice due to this...
Sometimes my smaller screen has weird lines when I change from one window to another, does it happen to yours?
That is kind of odd, I do not have that issue. Have you tried reaching out to customer support?
I was lucky enough to get it at the price tag of $2000 with i9 and 3070. I hope it will serve well
That's awesome, hope you enjoy it!
Hey, where did you get it from at that price?
@@shivamsinha9003 there are links in the description!
Would you rather Chrome or Edge
(me: Edge) good for your zenbook
I use Brave and Chrome, only rarely do I use edge
Also if you do a review send me a link, would love to see :)
@@VladimirKostek Hey thanks for response. Not sure if my previous response was deleted because I posted a link to my art portfolio. But long story short....yeah your review of cons was really helpful especially with 3 months of use. That 2nd monitor sold me too and I'm glad you reinforced how useful it is (as other reviews raved about it too). Can't wait to try it and post a video demo. Seems that google algorithm blocks if I try to give any reference to website urls. But I have link in my bio on artstation under the name thetoonimator. Hope that works. 😁
ram is not upgradeable its soldered to the motherboard you have to buy the model you require

IS SCREENXPERT NECESSARY TO USE BOTH SCREENS?
I don't think it is necessary but useful, is it not installed on yours?

@@VladimirKostek It was the top OLED. The second UX582 with the I9 11th generation CPU and RTX3080 graphics card I bought I had to replace the battery after 1 year 1 month and only 180 loading cycles.
@@quantumfire6954 what happened to your screen failing?
My personal opinion is that all creative content makers should have a laptop with an i9k processor, 64GB of 5000MHz DDR5 RAM, 2TB of storage, and 17" screen. We call that the real deal.
Those specs are no joke!
All good points, I'm surprised the 3060 version isn't performing that well for you. Which games do you play?
@@VladimirKostek I really just tested the same settings in Escape From Tarkov, but i got 43 fps on both laptops with the same settings, it could be bad optimization, but it also felt worse, more unstable. And the duo is so loud in comparison...
@@Dirty2D Thats a bummer, are you looking for another laptop or gonna keep it?
@@VladimirKostek Keeping it, its still decent enough to record meetings, and the 2 montitors let me record zoom calls with obs on the second screen, ill just need to be careful not to touch anything once its started.
@@Dirty2D gotcha, you can disable touch on the second screen at a hardware level if you want
Some Personal Extras from me i would say
4:16 a bit understandable because ROG is like an Sub Company you could say its one Big Manufacturer but yes they COULD make it Compatible but they not needed becasuse its like 2 different Targets of People like gamers ROG and Zenbooks for more Productive people they an Control Panel App For the Bottom One for Productive work like For the Adobe Softwares
9:30 thats just a Sleeve sleeves are only for the laptop Mostly so it doesnt get scratched or such things
10:20 around its not a good con because you can use the second screen as an Giant touchpad aswell or switch the tpuch setting standart windows settings are not as good as if you go and Configure it
That is true, i just thought it was odd that their own software didn't work on their own machine even though it easily could.
I need something for AutoCAD and and still be able to use it for media.
This is a great laptop for it, I also reviewed the legion 5i Pro if you want to check that video out. It is quite powerful as well
you can make video for install windows 11 on the lab tap?
Hi Emran, if you have this laptop just search for windows update in the search menu on your computer and there should be an option there for upgrading. It is a simple process and just follow the steps. Hope that helps!
Great vid
Thanks homie, hope you found it useful!

what is the nature of your work?
Work in finance, hbu?
@Vladimir Kostek Cool, I work in the Business Analysis field
Futureproof gpu didnt age well :( (8gb vram buffer suffers)
Do you have one?
No, I don't so I am not speaking with experience in this particular case. Not that it is bad, no no. I just heard it had 4k display and that cant not run Unreal engine in 4k with a 3070. Sadly more and more games demand Unreal engine.
@simonaarflot4743 I gotcha, from my experience 8gb is enough for most games or applications. In some cases it would benefit turning down settings a bit or lowering the resolution. Not a deal-breaker by any means
I just bought this laptop.... But only 1h30 battery back up only in navigating on the web...
Battery problem or asus system is bad? In sleeping, my processor is always at 3,6-3,8Ghz...
