I have wanted to see the land of Merlin ever since I was a little girl...waiting a long time to see it via YT. Thank you for taking us along, Kaye.
Absolutely! And I'm thrilled I could do this for you, exactly my intention, on the whole, well, all of my trips. To bring my subscribers along to see places and meet people, they might never have met on their own. Please share with a few friends, so I can grow and keep doing the same!
Thank you for such an esthetically pleasing video. The greenery so lush, the flowers, the "country village" charm, the food--oh hurt me some more!! All of it. And it made me nostalgic because I lived in Britain for a time.
Oh, I'm so glad!! Fantastic! Exactly my intention, to make my viewers feel like they were there, a little. We were moving every day, so I captured what I could, wherever I could. Please share with a few friends. I feel sure there are others like you that would enjoy this series. Many thanks!
Hi Kaye, Ros here! It's lovely to see this film of your visit. You'll have to come again when the sun is shining and you can see the hills properly. My Mum has just informed me that the last piece of music was the Welsh national anthem and she used to sing it in Welsh when she was at school there.
By the way, your gardening videos are amazing, so informative.
O. M. G.!! I am so happy to hear from you!! I WANT to, so much!! Yes, I chose that piece of music for all the Welsh fans who might watch. So far, I've only heard from two. :) Please share with a few, so they can enjoy, too. It's amazing, to me, that I am able to make a film out of a few pictures and a few video clips, but if the writing works, you've got something. Part 9 is already edited and at my sound editor's tonight, so it will be coming soon! All my love, Kaye
It would be great to see you over here again and you are more than welcome to stay at our Welsh chapel again. Simon and I are about to spend 2 weeks there, hoping to finish those renovations. X
What a fantastic Anthem to listen too at the end of this one. Wales rules :)
Right?? I thought, maybe this is a little too dramatic for my videos, but the National Anthem of Wales, has got to make a few Welsh people happy. I knew it would you. Please share. xoxo
sun was sinking in the sky beautiful music beautiful commentary beautiful editing and the countryside beautiful presentation
Thank you, so much!!! My English series is not getting the traction it deserves. Please share with a few friends? Many thanks!
Thanks for sharing your Europe trip with the world. The music selection is fitting for the scenes you captured. You are right, you deserve so much more viewers.
Oh thank you so much for your support!! I hope I get them! I know a lot more folks would enjoy if they only knew. Many thanks!!
What a wonderful landscape, thanks for taking us along with you. Wales is so incredibly beautiful. Never heard of bread and butter pudding before! Have to try that, looked really yummie. But best of all was that lovely little chapel converted into a weekend house, simply great, I love that so much.
Chris called it bread and butter pudding, but we in the U.S. just call it bread pudding. I have a big running joke about it (which I mentioned in my Rainy Day Palo Alto vlog last year) that if it's more like bread than pudding, it's not pudding! It should melt in your mouth. You should not have to chew it. :) I'm up late working, couldn't sleep.
The road lined by the hedges was very beautiful. Lovely countryside and scenery.
Thank you, Sheri!! I appreciate your support!
Lucky you, what a wonderful trip. Thank you for bringing us along 🌞
That's the idea! Thanks so much for watching. Please share with friends so this series can reach a loving audience. Many thanks!
Hello again kaye, oh the countryside hedge rows are always just lovely, i love so much the beautiful greens and grasses. So very comforting. Your filming is just great, what lovely little place very windy day, usually wales you can here the sounds of sheep.,,sheep also are very comforting, xx
Picturesque country side ! I could see you had a lovely time . I loved that old bottle you picked up as a souvenir , I think old time practitioners in villages in India still use these to dispense syrups !! I am sure that weather would be freezing cold for me .
Really?? Still? That would be amazing. We have a throw-away plastic bottle culture today, which is why our oceans are filling up with garbage patches. I'd be amazed to visit a shop that was still using these. Thanks so much!! Yes, it was cold. And likely uncomfortable for you.
The streets look so narrow Wales is. Georgous
Wales. Is very pretty it's such a quaint. Town I would love to vist there and your garden is. So pretty to
Thank you so much, Jackie!!! If you have a friend or two that would enjoy this series, please share. It's been hard building an audience for it. And I know lots would enjoy it if they only knew. Many thanks in advance!!
I would just find it so strange to drive on that side of the road lol =) looks like u are having such a great time. I had a friend from Wales growing up
So very relaxing video;) It must of been so hard not take home treasures from every stop lol But your videos are true treasures;)
That's what I brought back, many gigs of data! :) And Part 9 will be finished tonight. I'm being very prolific this week. Stay tuned! And please share and help me build an audience for the Europe series. Thanks in advance!!
Thanks
What a difference between Wales and London Kaye. You are great at adapting to different cultures and traditions. The Welsh National Anthem (land of my fathers ) was appropriate in that lovely place, Did you like the bunny soup?
Another beautiful Video . With kind regards. Patrick
Reminds me of Ireland, the flowers, the green and those roads with hedges. What do you do if someone is coming from the other way ??back up for a mile? Tiny cars are better there . Lovely Kaye!
We were definitely in a small car. And yes, you must back up for a ways.
cool
Thanks for watching!!
HA ! if i knew you were a fan of rabbit soup we would have done some bbq bunny for ya' lol
Uh, okay. Well, I did eat rabbit at Sharon's Natural Gardens, as you recall! It was very tasty! :) Thanks for watching!! xoxox
Beautiful. Did you ever meet a car going the opposite direction while traveling the narrow lanes? If so, tell what happens?
One of you has to back to the nearest sliver of a pullout. Not knowing those by heart, and Marie has lived in Canada and U.S. most of her adult life, wasn't as skilled at this. Usually the other person would back up. I happened about three times, I think. There was another road like this in Somerset. Though this is the very last of any footage shot from the car I think. All that was lost in my unfortunate LOSS of data. Hard lesson. Thanks for watching!!!
No No the River Wye at Glasbury, which is down the road from Hay. You did get to the town I see. ua-cam.com/video/8cVSyfauxtc/v-deo.html loved that garden...full of wild flowers it looked. Well fabulous trip. Peace. Mark
