Top notch content as usual, Marcel, thank you. I have 2 questions: 1. Do you have pointers to reduce shooting wobbly knuckle pucks? 2. What are your thoughts on using a chair, sitting or one leg elevated, to practice the push-pull mechanics? Have a terrific day.
You’re welcome! For knucklers, try not to open up the stick blade as soon. I really like the chair, one leg elevated. We use it a lot during the off-season.
@@MarcelsHockeySchool Excellent tip, thank you. I played around with different tilt angles of the blade and indeed, like you said, opening up the blade later reduced the wobbling. I guess it is a habit I picked up as a kid when I desperately wanted to lift the puck :-). Do you have a video where one can see the pucks horizontal travel along the blade and where it leaves the blade?
I had a terrible wrist shot until I started doing this snapshot. Do you find when you pull the puck in, aim suffers? I have about 100 pucks on a shooting pad and shoot almost every day, when I practice the pull-in shot, they start going all over the place.

I find it’s just a matter of practice. At the start, aim was weird, but now I don’t even notice that I’m pulling the puck in when I shoot
