Great job! I live next to this Park (5 minutes out) and I visit almost daily now that I am retired. You did a really nice job with this video and hit many of the high points of this wonderful park. Thanks for shooting and editing this video, I think many will enjoy seeing this and want to visit Letchworth Park.

chiming in to ask your opinion, since your a local, is a visit to Letchworth in the winter as enjoyable and beautiful as it would be in spring or fall? Thank you in advance to anyone that can reply.

@@traceyodonnell1969 Each season has its own particular beauty. Autumn of course is the most popular but I personally love the winter months in LSP. It is less crowded with hardly anyone around and the snow and ice just make just everything so beautiful. You do have to bundle up but that adds to the coziness.

Take the steps to the Lower Falls, hop into the canyon and head toward the Middle Falls along the gorge floor, starting from the right bank of the river. Sublime. This works best in the summer after the snow melt, when you have more and better footing. But you'll get wet today - a big part of the fun.
Stay the hell away from the canyon walls because big chunks of them come crashing down and they could kill you.
It's cool to come here with someone who hasn't been here before, because they won't be expecting the Middle Falls, which will make their heart stop and head blow off when you come upon them, especially if you're tripping i.e., on lsd or mushrooms.
Midway to the Middle Falls, you'll see a long and wide section of slippery flats with super shallow water racing along, the superior slot for butt racing along the bottom. This is the most fun of the day, so be sure to show up in cut-off blue jeans and sneakers you're prepared to get wet.
As you come up to the Middle Falls, cling carefully along the right and you'll find a cave with a cool perspective of the mighty falls bashing and crashing right in front of you. Jump in the water at the base of the falls if you feel like it.
You'll be soaked today. Head on back the same way you came in, or scramble on up to the Middle Falls overlook to your car and change into the second set of clothes you brought.

when we were there we didn't have any issues with ticks. But we stayed on the path and didn't wander through the bushes.
