I like this shortfilm. It touches one of main problems of a human with art involved. Bravo. Image quality is perfect of course. Sometimes I forget to think about image quality. I don't worry about image quality of fx30 anymore

@@Kemet3.0 They most likely used lenses from their own Sony GM line. They are sort of a hybrid between cine and photography lenses. On a side note, I hope one day somebody postage FX30 footage that was taken with a Leitz Cine Summicron-C T2.0 lens.

I understand all these things. I'm saying this is a very sterile image to use to promote the camera. I'd be more interested in an image that feels more natural. This image doesnt excite me for what the camera can do, it makes me think of how much work I need to do in post to make it feel much less digital and sharp.

I am glad you are enjoying yourself promoting this camera, however I am going to let your audience know how angry a growing number of current customers feel about this FX line:
For many years the Sony A7S (sensitivity) line was the camera for VIDEO centric shooters wile the A7R (resolution) is aimed at photographers and the A7 line caters towards hybrid shooters. The A7SII needed a successor badly and finally after 5 years the A7SIII was released in 2020 and myself as well as many other filmmakers bought this camera. However,just 4 months later out of nowhere you guys released the FX3 also for video shooters with the exact same sensor and exact sama processor and just because this camera falls under the FX line you guys have been treating the FX3 as the "true" camera for video shooters and releasing firmware updates to give it many additional software features while completely abandoning all the people who bought the A7SIII. In 2.5 years you guys released exactly ONE additional feature for the A7SIII in the form of the S-Cinetone profile and literally nothing else besides "stability" updates.
This is a camera that costs $3500. The many customers who wanted a video centric camera and already purchased the A7SIII now have to decide to either sell their superfluous cameras at a big loss just to get Sony's "true" consumer video camera for the same (body) price or continue to watch their A7SIIIs become more and more obsolete. I know you are focused on cranking out new bodies so I am not going to waste my time waiting on you treating your A7S customers right. I just hope your potential customers read this message to let them know about your record of customer abandonment.

I myself bought the a7siii. I feel the same way. Would I fuss and quarrel with Sony? No. In this day and age there are options. There is the Panasonic S5iix for starters. Sony has branded the FX3 as a cinema camera. Not even. There are many options. Canon, Nikon (z8), Panasonic. Count your loss for what it is and move on.
@@panasonicism I was able to sell my A7SIII for $2,800 right before the better and cheaper ZV-E1 came out which would have suppressed the value of my camera even more. So I lost "only" around $1,000 with this Sony camera experience. I took my business to Panasonic who cares about their customers after they invested their money into a camera and bought the S5IIX.
This really great camera, no doubt! I have pre-orded one and cant wait to work with that. But still dont understand why Sony use charging batteries from body and dot give us a charger in pack...Omg this is camera for filmaking and they think that you have to take 2 hours break for charging battery without using it ? OK, you can buy another batteries. But why you cannt recharge the discharged one.. So bad...and 120$ for extra original charger? Its annoying..
Is it just me or is the footage really soft, blurry? I watch on 5k screen in 4k and it relly looks quite low res... even considering the YT compression.

I was behind an fs5 i, but I chose today this one definitely, I`ll upload footage later. Excelent camera very pround I don't expect less. I just tell you that always yo do bad DOP performance in your exhibition video, why?

Is it me, or do the movements sometimes look jittery? take segments 0:58-1:03, 1:13-1:16, follow the gentleman as he walks away 1:56 - 2:00. Perhaps jittery is not an accurate word, but it is not smooth is what I'm trying to get at. The picture looks nice, when the subject is static or is hardly moving but I definitely see it with any sort of movement. I have seen it with other sample footages of FX-30 as well.

I see what you mean. Sometimes 24fps comes out stuttery if the exposure settings aren't tuned up correctly. Not sure, but I definitely see it, too.

To be fair - not impressed with the video quality. Sony sample footage usually represent the max what you can get out form specific camera, so skipped my purchase on FX30. It looks like a6700 have better video quality for my needs. Maybe this time production team put emphasis on emotional story rather than showing what this camera is capable of. Most of FX30 videos i have seen on youtube have same "grainy/film look". In my opinion it`s not the case for digital cameras, you can always put that in post, even on camcorder footage.

hahaha omg, this is a great camera, but the sony guys themselves can't use them properly, the footage looks super noisy in the shadows. Please sony, take a look at RED Camera channel, what kind of videos they make... these videos on this channel look so bad...

There's is a difference between the quality on a View perspective on what the camera represent and real production of a movie..
For me the camera quality is out of this planet..
