  • How to keep your mango tree trimmed. Trimmed mango trees keep it healthy, reduces disease and makes them more productive. To many homeowners neglect their tree and it grows out of control so the mangoes grow to high in the canopy. Because they are so high in the tree they are not picked and then fall.

I bought some mangoes from you at the Mango Festival, and I found your fruit very clean, no blemishes and of different kinds. I will recommend you to my friends!

The more sun and air it gets the better off the tree is. Different trees have different styles of growing. This Graham is so thick and dense I’m trying to open the canopy.

Nice video, and informative. But still confuse as some people like there trees shaped like a umbrella style, or cup style leaving the middle of the tree open allowing sun and air to penetrate through. Disease free as well because there's lots of air flowing through. What's your input in this.

In Panamá after the rains stop in December, we stop watering the mangoes. This will make them flower. If you keep watering them, they will not bloom.

Are you able to keep it that size with only pruning once per year?

The size before pruning was from last years pruning in August. So yes I pruned once a year. However I might do a little work on this in December I want a more open canopy
