I just bought three mangos and extracted the seeds and I will see if they will germinate in five days 😁 as not alot of tropical plants will grow here in Ireland as it’s not very hot here in the summer so i grow them indoors 😉

Depends on the weather in your country where I am it’s not really great weather for mango seeds but I built a greenhouse and now they’re doing well.

    • @mimichuchu3267

@@shrishalini4715 probably there was too much humidity inside, maybe you put too much water on the tissue, try to wet it with just 3 splash of water. Keep it close somewhere with the sun so when the tissue dries you can splash on it a couple of times, remember the tissue should be wet but not too much bc humity can cause also the growth of mold.
Also as long as the mold is not on the seed it should be ok but still, the seed should not be contaminated if you change the tissue (you can change it just in this case, if not don't touch it).
P.s. Mango is a tropical fruit, if it's too cold it will not survive.

@@ajeetasingh4860 Improve your soil. Add nutrients, worms, dead plants, compost, bone meal, perlite, burn the ground before a big rain once a year, a few different methods to improve your soil health. Good luck do some research and order it all online. Quickest way : compost your food and anything organic and start buying some potting soil. Mix those two with the dry sand/ dead dirt you may have. Keep going till you have enough good soil to grow food or other plants. Once you start to grow a good little ecosystem, the ground will replenish itself. May take lots of water and effort but you can transform a barren dessert into lush woodland if you try hard enough

Keep it indoors if you can while it’s trying to grow roots. Get a plastic bag, fold a strip of paper towel to fit on the bottom of the bag and wet it. Get another paper towel, damp, then gently wrap it and place in the plastic bag above the previous wet strip of paper towel. Zip the bag almost all the way closed leaving a small opening on the top, tape the mango seeded bag on a indirect sunny window and wait! You’ll be able to see what’s going on with your plant easier and you’ll notice condensation forming in the bag which will retain the needed moisture in for the seed. The seed will also have the urge to root down towards the wet watered paper towel on the bottom of the bag. The seed won’t be too wet so it shouldn’t rot. With my experience I don’t peel off the brown outer covering right away, only until it flakes off after rooting. I always recommend dating your bag of when you started your growing experience!

It might be about 2 years old. This tree is bearing fruit so early because of a technique known as 'grafting,' this way the plant can start fruiting in about (minimum)10 months. To know more about this process search on the internet. Welcome☺☻

The tree is small and bearing fruit because those yellow mangoes I think atolfo lemons zest or whatever they’re called are polyembrionic, as you can see in the video he has multiple shoots from one seed. One of those will be a result of cross pollination and the rest of the shoots will be clones of the mother plant and will bare fruit very early and will not need grafting. Quite fascinating actually. Read up on polyembrionic and monoembrionic mangoes.

I did the exact thing as you did when getting the seeds then i covered it with a tissue and i also dipped it in water (i tried to dry it with my hands) then i stored it in a container for a week then when i checked the seeds it got moldy and no roots

Did you seal all the edges of your container? Try just 3 edges closed with one allowing airflow. Also make sure the paper towel is damp not wet, lastly put it in a place with direct/indirect sunlight :))

You can try using plastic wrap which is used to cover food items, cover the seed with plastic wrap and do the same thing as using tissue paper generally causes mold to form

Instead try using the lid from a glass jar, put some water and the seed in it, have a sandwich baggie over it to keep humid and changer the water daily, it takes about a week but sometimes every day you may notice a little change :) make sure to peel the brown paper like texture off of the seed if able, the water will help make it easier to peel
