- What is demonetisation? What is the meaning of demonetisation? Recently Indian prime minister Narendra Modi / Government of India, took an abrupt step of demonetising rupees 500 and rupees 1000 bank notes from 9th November 2016!

Just considering the fact the people forming serpentine queues to buy movie tickets and even for Jio Sims in India, Can't the wait wait to get their money exchanged? (which is good for himself and the country)
Went to ATM so can buy medicine with cash,got old currency.Later the currency alter with the silver line colour change to green blue. 😒

There are a lot of Indians here in Canada worried about this because they wont let them change their money by mail and so any cash they have they cant replace.
