I met him a few times after a QR show in the late 90s-eerly 2000's. Him and the band were so nice. Kevin was hilarious too. He was cracking jokes with me. R.I.P. Kev and Frankie.
Great video and my favorite guitarist. I have had the pleasure of meeting Carlos 5-6 times in my life. Always very cordial. 1st time I met him he put one of his guitars around me for a pic, still have the pic. Not a lot of guys would do that...
Damn, awesome cars and guitars Carlos - thank you for the tour man... I really appreciate how humble, honest and cool you are. Hope your career keeps on going as it has - you certainly deserve it bro!!!
great interview! I remember seeing Carlos' instructional video and thinking he just seems like a good down to earth dude. This interview pretty much confirms that. I'm also glad to see this video now, because I was thinking I have too many guitars and maybe I should sell some. Clearly not. I have not enough.
Back in January of 1989, I moved to the west cost from Massachusetts. That very same month I was going down the very busy Ventura Freeway and saw Carlos broken down in his white lambo on the side of the road. He had his hands in his pockets and was standing there probably waiting for a tow. The Ventura is so tight and busy, I could not pull over to ask him if he needed a ride. I wish that I could have but the traffic is brutal. One of my big regrets. Would have loved to say hello and helped if I could have. Carlos is the real deal! Always a fan.
hola, Quiet Riot fué la banda culpable de mi gusto por el Rock, la sigo desde sus inicios I love this band and his music, and Carlos Cavazo will be my favorite guitar player.
The lambo is much more valuable but carlos didn;t know. It was the first ever LP5000s lambo ever made and was the car they took to the 82 geneva motorshow. Its up for sale unrestored covered in dirt for $700000
My buddy Scott has told me a story about riding with Carlos in his Countach but i didn't realize it was white. I imagined it was red. With this video I finally got to see the car.
that last Ratt album for me stood out cause let's be honest you put Carlos w/ Warren it can't help but be epic. Wish those two would do something together again.
Saw Carlos in 1986 in that exact white Countach, at a house party in Canoga Park. I said HI! He said HI! back. Cool dude. Can't believe he still has that old Lambo...
@@acepaul407 Ace's real name is PAUL! so your either ace frehley? or your a big kiss fan? ( i would think ) But ok.. either way, whomever you are saying that washburn guitar from 82-83 is gone? : / I think it was the most suitable and coolest guitar for carlos. Im sure it would have needed some better pick ups from stock. But NO ONE else had that guitar.. ever..
He was smart to hold onto that Countach cause they jumped in price by a lot in the last 5 years. He probably sold it and paid for the newer Ferrari and had 50k left.
I can’t believe some dirtbag would steal probably one of his most favorite and reliable guitars in the world. Glad he could have a replica made of his tele.
And it's weird that the stolen Charge was his main guitar back in the clubs and on the first album but they didn't use it in the video. Where they contractually obligated to be filmed with Washburns? I noticed Rudy was also playing a Washburn bass.
Wow, Carlos is a cool guy. You can tell he's down to earth.

Very underrated as a guitarists.

Carlos has been one of my biggest guitar inspirations. Fantastic player!
Very humble dude, and always a solid player. He definitely didn’t let fame go to his head. 🤘
I used to hang out with him backstage when he was in snow he's a great guy.
What a drag no more SNOW...
@@warrenmccune305 yes i miss those concerts snow was a good band. Carlos was the best guitarist on the Hollywood scene at that time
I could just listen to Carlos all day. Tooootal Southern California 80s metal guitar persona.
Dude doesn't age. Got to meet him in late '83 when they were touring Metal Health. Very cool. The whole band was. Rudy is as solid as they come.
Great video and Carlos is the best! Thanks for sharing your car's and those great guitars! 🎸

Enough guitars? I've never used those two words together.
He’a definitely doing great and time has been great to him
@Godzilla Simpson - I'm sure he partied, but he definitely knew when to say when. He's ageless.

So great to see Carlos doing some interviews! Awesome idea for an interview, too!
Awesome interview!)Thank you
🌟
i remember carlos with his washburn destroyer type guitar
Great clip! I had no idea Cavazo was such an exotic car enthusiast. Forza Detomaso!
saludos desde Los Cabos Baja Sur México..
Carlos was awesome at the US festival!
I have always liked Carlos, seems like a really nice guy. He is an amazingly technical player.
cool interview. Carlos was rocking back in the day with Quiet Riot. Hes a great player with good vibrato
grew up listening to QR and Ratt - Franco is cousin's inlaws - great combo
Carlos was very friendly, met him while working at Jackson and just very down to earth!
Cool red Pantera next to Carlos...sweet guitar collection too...
Carlos is so humble & Gold
Great cars and guitars collection sir. My Gibson Flying V Medallion #39 1974 🎸
Awesome video. Thanks from Sweden! 🎙
Carlos kicks ass on the guitar
Where was the black Washburn he played at the US festival??
Looks like Metal Health is still paying off 35 years later.
those two songs were old Slade songs...they made the money on those hits
They signed a bad record deal, and didn’t get publishing from Metal Health. Whatever money Carlos made was most likely after Metal Health.
@@jeremybilbrey1133 cum on feel the noise was slade song. Metal health not.. on condition critical, they did another slade song. Mama we all crazy now
Li
Like joe bonamasa Carlos worked hard to make it they both deserve everything they have
I love his playing
I still Remember, I had a photo from Hard rock magazine . Carlos sitting (while the door of this Lamborghini is open) . waw . I kept it for years
Alpine stereo and driving barefoot. Not Vince Neil’s Pantera
carlos so laid back how'd he deal with dubrow all those years?
RIP
New Ferrari, looks like Carlos is doing well. I guess those royalty checks from the Quiet Riot days are still coming in. Good for him.

the red interior MAKES you drive 150mph
Metal Health sold over six million copies in the United States.
I really enjoyed this video.
Seems like an all around cool guy. He also reminds me of Corey Feldman.
The candy cane explorer was my favorite of his, looked so cooooool
My buddy Scott has told me a story about riding with Carlos in his Countach but i didn't realize it was white. I imagined it was red. With this video I finally got to see the car.
i met him at the starwood and he put me on the guest list plus four. i wonder if he remembers me? The snack bar? buds 1979?
No Washburns from the metal health videos?
At least he mentioned it at 11:28
Carlos looks like Greg “The Hammer” Valentine’s brother from another mother
This makes sense. Rivera is the Ferrari of amplifiers.
Cool guitar, s ,like v ,s😊
What happened to the metal flake Jackson Soloist in the Quiet Riot video for The Wild and the Young?
Great guitar , cool guy.
that last Ratt album for me stood out cause let's be honest you put Carlos w/ Warren it can't help but be epic. Wish those two would do something together again.
Cool person and a cool car.
Awesome video :) Thanks for sharing ! God bless all rockers
On flat earth and savior JESUS keep us safe always!

Carlos rules. But can he see over the dash?
CARLOS??? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WASHBURN GUITAR YOU HAD ON THE METAL HEALTH TOUR/VIDEOS????
It was sold a long time ago

Tele with dual hum buckers and Floyd rose
What’s amps did or does Carlos use? Effects?
In his instructional video from the 80s, he's using plexis and says they are the best..
4:47 driving a ferrari barefoot..haha
Warren, call Carlos.
Hi Paul!
Serious question. How do guys like Carlos now afford these types of vehicles? Like is Quiet Riot still making money?
🤟🏻 🌟 🤟
cool

Carlos drives barefoot!
Keyed ignition
So I guess the mics were there only for show . Recorded with the finest potato 🥔
Who stole the original metal health guitar😭😭
what's up with the terrible camera production, you shoot this with a flip phone Lol..
Get you a 1963 vette and have it pimped out with all the modern tech ,but leave the body and wheels alone.
Those cars r Rock n Roll and musicians should b the only allowed to own & operate
He wasn't even the guy playing on Metal Health
He played everything on Metal Health.
masks on guys....your metal health is in danger !!! ;-)
This car is so ringard so oldtimers slike you and your guitars 😅
The lethal birch ordinarily supply because drill likely detect throughout a kindly cobweb. domineering, alleged whale
