BEST COMMENT LMAO
what a guitar hunter 😂😂😂
I love when Dweezil stops by and plays show and tell.
he is such an amazing person and player, I love that guy man, just unreal.
Agreed. He's got some amazing guitars in his collection.
I will second that he is such a class act
@@themotocrossmodchannelWulfMX woah hey! I have that guitar.
@@rust2092 huh?
Unlike a lot of players, Dweezil actually plays Van Halen really well.
Dweezil and Eddie were good friends , Eddie used to stop by and talk to Frank and Dweezil
It's too bad that Frank did not live long enough to see Dweezil become the guitarist he is today, although Dweezil has been very good for a very long time. He would be great in one of Zappa's bands. His ZappaPlaysZappa/Dweezil Play Whatever the Fuck He Wants tours were all terrific. Hope they start up again soon.
Eddie was one of his guitar teachers, look it up.
@@alexcoronayou are correct sir. He taught Dweezil how to play Runnin' With the Devil for a school talent show. He also gave him a guitar right after which Dweezil used for the talent show. Which guitar he gave him escapes me at the moment but you can easily look the story up.
Deeezil is a legend and genuine nice guy. We need more people in the world like him. His guitar collection is to die for.

“I don’t know, I’d have to ask Ed.”
*R.I.P Eddie, we all miss you*
Yeah that part almost choked me up a bit ngl...
Dweezil is a good dude.
He had a good father. Anyone else, and Dweezil would've grown up a spoiled shit.
Dweezil has the touch!
Off the cuff, through a Deville and still captured all the nuances of Eddie's tone!
😮😍 Wow. I think that's the only HD video on youtube showing very close footage of an real Eddie Van Halen guitar. You can see the way it was painted with a very rough finish.......so cool. Thanks to Dweezil for that. 👍👍👍👍👍🎸
Dweezil , love him for years now...I listened to him in the late 80´s and early 90´s during my student years...great souvenir ! Thanks for inviting him Norm ! Kind regards from France
He says the word remnants just like his father. Beautiful
And brushing his scapular aside, he turns to us and speaks:
*Some people...*
@@j_freed like cupcakes better lol
Cool like his dad
@@mikefox3939 i, for one, care less for them.
This is best episode normans rare guitars history. So cool. Really happy to see this piece of history so clean and hd. We waiting part 2 Norm🤘🏼🤘🏼🤩🤯thank you 👍🏼
Always a treat when Dweezil stops by! He was taught how to play Eruption by EVH himself, and I've never seen a perfect rendition of it quite like Dweezil's.
Dweezil is a great guitar player and seems like an even cooler dude, awesome video!
duh he is the son of frank zappa :-)
I have met him and he is a really nice guy. Down to earth acts like a normal person.
What an INCREDIBLE experience!!Precious guitar!!♥️♥️He lives in our hearts!!!
I haven't seen anyone that happy this year yet. Thank you Dweezil. It doesn't matter who is getting happy, it still fills the internet with more good shit.
Man this is so cool when you bring in guitars with a cool history like this! Thank you!!
This is awesome. I had a huge smile on my face throughout the entire video. The history... that guitar must have a few tales to tell.
what a legacy -- EVH guitar in Dweezil Zappa's hands... crazy! Norm's is definitely mecca...
That brought actual tears to my eyes! That early VH was the sound track of my youth!🎸🎸🎸
Cooler than anything!! Thank you Zappa and Norm
That was time well spent.......Thanks Normans Rare Guitars.
Dweez pulled the tone right out of that thing
Woow!!! Dweezil is a fantastic musician, I love his music, he plays with his heart and with his father's passion! I'm a big fan of Frank forever! thank you so much! Greetings from Italy! 🇮🇹👍😊🎸❤
How awesome! That's a piece of Rock and Roll history, right there. Can you imagine holding that and jamming on it?
I love that Dweezil just brings it by...it's a 300k guitar probably. Reminds me of Jerry Garcia's Wolf guitar which sold for a million dollars and, thanks to cool owners, people (lucky) have had a chance to hold and play it over the years.
Absolutely love this video
WTF I can’t wait any longer I want to see part two now 😎🍺🎸🎶🇺🇸💥👍
That pick scrape at 4:30 🤟🤟
Can’t wait to see pt 2!!
Dweezil's THE MAN!!!! Great talent and better human being.
very cool. much respect and have a happy healthy 2019
I love it! I would love to see more EvH guitar 🎸 stuff! Thank you
That guitar is friggin' SWEET. Played by a rock and roll legend with all the vibe in it...cool axe man.
That was awesome!! 🤘😎🎸
that guitar has the magic...Instantly Dweez and lemmo sounded exactly like EVH...that was awesome.
yeah if you buy it, you will play like eddie and sound exactly like him.....or you're just a fucking idiot, the guitar possesses no magical qualities at all...it's a piece of wood with metal hardware on it. grow up lil boy. Stop worshiping people and make your own legend, if you know how
@@nasticanasta it may not have magical qualities, but it is the same guitar ed was playing so it would be likely to have a similar sound and 'magic' about it, you angry little man.
Wow, this was super cool! I can’t imagine just being able to hold that guitar. Id probably cry. Haha
I will trade you a 2012 First Act Adam Levine Signature Model, a gig bag, tuner, cord and a pick for that Rasta, Dweezil.
That's like trading a pack of bubblegum for Page's Stairway guitar...
@@SpaceCattttt yeah well Dweezil read the comment and made the trade. It plays nice...
@@WhiteTrashJim It must be nice living in fantasy land where you get everything you want.
@@SpaceCattttt I get what I want. You my weasel like friend didn't get the joke.
@@WhiteTrashJim You were trying to be funny? Like I said, fantasy land...
dweezil and lemmo…..this is an outstanding video! nice guitar!
I had heard and it could just be a rumour, Ed placed the Bumblebee guitar in the casket of Dimebag Darrell!!!!
no its true. he really did that
Yeah, plenty of info out there on the web but it's true alright.
Maybe only the body of the guitar made it to the casket and the neck was repurposed for this guitar? Apparently Eddie didn't dig the bumblebee guitar and that's why it wasn't seen after 1979, but this guitar came to life shortly after so.. the timeline matches
@@alec7364 Ed changed necks all the time. I've seen the bumble bee with a black headstock and then with a natural headstock.
The BBee with whatever neck was on it at the time WAS buried with Dimebag. Who knows what neck the rasta has on it. Oh and yeah Ed hated the BBee guitar, he said it wouldn't stay in tune and didn't sound like he wanted.
It is true. He did do that. Ed had such a giving heart.
That was my favorite EVH guitar. I hope they release it in their art series.
Freakin' instant classic video.
dreams do come true uh.... Mike.... how cool... #preservethevomit
Wow,...very cool. Dweezil is aces man.
I love Dweezil, he's a great interview. His friend Mike is good, too.
Doooood 🎸 😮 The Rasta!! Wow!!
Hah! Just so much fun man! Saw Van Halen and Black Sabbath in late 70’s for $10 bucks the best concert of my life! Thanks DZ
Guitargasm ! I need a smoke .... thanks Dweez
I would love to work at Norm's. Good people, involved in the community, great people and instruments in and out the door all the time. Who wouldn't love it.
I was wondering if they'd bring up the vomit story. I can't believe it's still on the guitar! Great video! Love Dweezil and Norm and the gang!
I am glad I watched this I was aware of the Rasta guitar but I didn't know it was the circle guitar repainted I had always wondered what happened the circle guitar.
The most underrated guitarist alive!
TRUTH
who????? dweez??
A legendary guitar! 🎸
Ooooo man I remember seeing that one always loved how it looked. Talk about mojo!
so cool!!
Dweezil has EVH's guitars, but growing up I always wanted Dweezil's guitars, in particular his Jackson with the True Blue MADONNA cover art on it. That guitar to me, is badass.
I can dig it
Dweezil’s the man!! 🤘🏻
I would sell my soul to evh himself spiritually to have this guitar. R.I.P. Eddie Van Halen🕊🕊🕊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great Stuff
And now I'm gonna have to listen to D.O.A.
Horrific paint job! But that guitar is SO legendary! The tones from that Oakland show are insane! Thanks for showing such a rad guitar!!! Nice to know it's in good hands.
Cool as hell!
Only at Norms rare guitars ....so cool 😎
This was fun.
Holy hell the tone
Cool piece.
Awesome cool!!
Dweezil is such a down to earth guy... I love that he's carrying on his dad's legacy and doing a fantastic job!
Ironic to see these guys drool over a guitar Norm wouldn't even give a second glance though if it wasn't for the legacy attached to it... Money money money 💰 always watching these uploads with mixed feelings because this channel in the end is less about guitars than it is about the business of selling them for crazy amounts
Shame downvotes don't show. fer fuck sakes, the mans in the business of selling guitars.
Gotta pay tha bills 😊
Since when is there something wrong with making money.
Normans, for that crazy amount of money, don't just sells the guitars. He kind of sells the history of them too.
r/woosh! 😂
😎 cool cheers from Portugal 🇵🇹
Norm you're the hero top man!
dweezil always bring in crazy guitara
Also great to see that norm is doing well above all else
Awesome
“You’d have to ask Eddie” I wish we could still say that💔rip evh
Indeed... RIP King Edward you will NEVER be forgotten. 🤴🤘💪
Awesome legato!!!
Sweet guitar!!!!
Damn.....Zappa is such an underrated guitarist!
I've never done this before but we all gotta start somewhere sometime;
#preservethevomit
Mark is sitting there thinking: ''This guy is stealing my show!''
Emiliano arrogance
That was rad.
I think I might have seen Ed Play this guitar on the fair warning tour!
gotta love the Dweez!...
Ended at the best part. Damn!
Lovly guitar
I like it i like it ya mon a gazillion thumbs up groovey
Thats why norms rare guitars lives up to and beyond the hype.
You cant make this shit up, thats rocknroll!
Thanks Dweez. Bodily fluids extra
Pretty cool
Life without Ed is not easy.
Norm we're dyin fot pt.2
I've met both Frank and Dweezil and both were very gracious (got my pic with both). Dweezil is so unpretentious, and striving to gather all the knowledge and technique he can. Dweezil Plays Whatever The Fuck He Wants rock on!
That thing is legendary
mercy..., thanks!
Damn that thing sound SWEET!!!
Love them pinched-harmonics!
That Lemmo is just a rocker!!!
Dammit, I love Dweezil and I'll fight any man who has a problem with that. So generous with his guitars and stories. Huge Rhoads fan too. He was in the epicenter 1981 So-Cal. A true shred king that Dwee-zzle. Somebody get me a doctor...
HEY EVVVERYBODY!!! THAT'S a MEAN GREEN GANJA MACHINE!!!
Michael Took Us On A Lemmo Ride To Van Halenville.🤘👍🎸🚘
This guitar really is DNA certifiable!
Whoa...just whoa....
You guys should have a high gain amp next to the couch for special occasions like this one hahaha
What a moment for Mike. I can only imagine how it sluld feel to jam on Hendrix guitar 😢
I wouldn't want to play after Dweezil and Lemmo either.
I wouldn't want to play it after ED touched it
@@harryhenderson792 Erectile dysfunction doesn't affect guitars, you know.
your the one with E D on the mind, I wonder why
