That really could be maximum 7000 nF capacitor. And aluminum tape could be much easier to work with.

xD btw why he didnt add salt water to make it conductive and increase farads? lol
@@itzvinnyman980 Adding salt water wouldn't increase the farads. Salt water is conductive. You need to have an insulator between the metal plates.
There isn't any, it's not polarized. It's definitely not 7000 Farads anyway tho, that's a straight up lie
Fake. 7000microFarad not 7000 farad
That's being generous: I don't give it 7000 Pico farads. .000007 farads.
7000pF max
Even 7000 micro farads is too much
@@vincentrobinette1507 yeh micro is too much for that shit show
@@computerman8424 I should have said Pico, Micro is too optimistic. When I unrolled a 1 microfarad motor run capacitor, it looked similar to this, but, it was precision wound, very tightly, and used a dielectric oil to allow higher voltage, and give it more capacitance. This loosely wound, dry attempt, may or may not, even reach 700 Pico farads. It might surprise us both, and measure closer to 7000 Picofarads. Barely enough to tune an AM station on a crystal radio set.
Hard to believe this so easy to make.
12:33 wire about to melt plastic and destroy this man’s career
How did you calculate the value of the capacity?
These poles (+) and (-) is based on what technique?
How does the bipolar condenser not suddenly discharge when in contact with a consumer (in this case the wire)
This guy is a fucking d u m b a s s and makes fake videos. There are wires under the table going to a high current power supply. The capacitor he made is maybe a few NANO farads, But to answer your question, the capacitor in the video would be an AC cap (no polarity). Polarized capacitors are usually soaked in an electrolyte
This design of capacitor is non-polar - meaning the polarity doesn't matter.
THKS for video!! Has made as you have learnt. Has written 7000 farads. Has then measured capacity. The device has defined 7000 farads. Then I have erased an inscription and have written 1 000 000 farads. Has measured by the device. The device has shown 1 000 000 farads. I have drawn a conclusion - how many will write, so much device and will show.
Charge it up to 3v, then write 10^15 on it, and then you have a 3v battery that will last for an eternity.
I love UA-cam the most when I have to read and listen to truly relevant jams.

You know it's really 7000 Farads because he wrote "7000F" on it - after it showed 3 something with a multimeter. That much foil packed that loosely (connected how?) would be lucky to hold 7 picofarads.

Nice job man👍😵
Thank you for a nice presentation. I used to believe a high value capacitors can be made at home like the one you did. But after watching your vide I have a plumb believe that it is not possible. Yours is FAKE because film capacitors with the same plates are non-polarized plus capacitors discharges instantly with a wire you used or if you had a resistor shorting out. Because you don't know anything about the electricity you did an experiment that PROVES IS BEYOND DOUBT THAT IT IS FAKE. Good try, say hello to your DADDY.
One real thing about this video, made me reminisce about the good old days back on Grove Street..
Not possible!!! He is shorting the aluminium foil!!! It’s not even a capacitor!!!
Yes.
Thats what I was thinking, like one side is touching the other side, causing a short, he needs a seperator material, and the tap might do it, but it isn't across the whole side
Or maybe they have 2 of PVC pipe and if u see its same but just copied.the one is DIY and the second one have capacitor inside

It's a chemical soaked into paper that becomes a resistance to current in one direction. If you reverse the polarity in circuit the current flows and blows the ass out of the cap.
Muito bom.
Como definir negativo e positivo?
Um capacitor convencional não pode ter tamanha capacitância c=A€/d, como € é muito pequeno, a área deve ser demasiadamente grande tipo quilômetros (km), para tal capacitância.

Where is grephene, positive terminal copper, electrolyte??
Without these how you can make supercapacitor
It is impossible
Ez mekkora marhaság volt!!!!
Even if this sheet of aluminum foil was 1000m long and 10cm wide and just 0.01mm thick and the permittivity of this paper is 4, the capacity would be:
8.85*10^-12* 4* (1000m^2)/(0.01*10^-3)=3.54*10^-6 F
(0.00000354 F)
what are you talking about? I own super capacitors they do the same as this one @neutronen stern
