Lexicographic order is a way of ordering items based on the alphabetical order of their constituent characters or digits. It's the dictionary-like ordering system used to arrange words or numbers.
For words, this order follows the sequence of letters from left to right. The first different letter between two words determines their order. For example:
"Apple" comes before "Banana" because 'A' comes before 'B'.
"Cat" comes before "Cats" because after the shared 'C', 'a' comes before 's'.
For numbers, lexicographic order refers to the order based on individual digits from left to right. If numbers have the same length, the first different digit determines their order. For instance:
23 comes before 34 because the first digit '2' is smaller than '3'.
105 comes before 112 because although they both start with '1', '0' is smaller than '1'.
Understanding lexicographic order is essential in various algorithms, sorting methods, and solving problems related to permutations, combinations, and searching in computer science and mathematics.
@MBAKaro . sir please clarify the doubt at 8:28. it says to arrange L1 in logical order, so seed comes first so shoudlnt the number start from the number given to Seed. it should be 4,6,1,2,5,3
same doubt @mbakaro please tell us

Sir in question with L1 and L2 lists we already have a number for each word. So shouldn't we use those numbers when arranging them rather than the number of their order? 8:28
Same question sir

As far as I understood, I think in the example their order rank is given which is then being added. I’m not sure though since I myself added their respective numbers instead of their rank number

Sir, in 8:55, seed came first, so L1 should start with 4 and 3 should be at the last. And in L2 also, tree will come first. Kindly, let me know, if I'm wrong somewhere!
So according to you option should be 2nd ,right? I am also considering the same
Did any option matched in the exam with the ans you got ?
Same mine also second option
Reread the instructions in the question you'll get it
Yes you are correct, Pranav sir just made a mistake in writing the correct number there if you see he mentions that dinner will be last and then he writes it first so I am sure he did it by mistake, it can happen to anybody.
8:52 Sir, aren't we supposed to arrange those lists in order first and then add both of them?
bro agr tumhe smja toh plz help...mera bheja fhat gya
10:51 isnt 132 also possible after 125?
Sir you’re replying to everyone who’s appreciating but not those who is genuinely asking doubts …
I request you to please clarify this…. Can we consider (1,3,2) or not, I don’t want my answer to get wrong on the D-day
Ans1 => 3Months (Jan, Feb, Dec)
Ans2 => (11+13+17+19)/4 = 15
July, Jan, Feb, Dec, August - 3 months;
11+13+17+19 / 4 = 15

Sir, at 8:28 , isn't it L1- 4,6,1,2,5,3 and L2 - 5,3,2,4,6,1 as the question asked to arrange L1 in logical order and L2 in reverse lexicographic order?
can you please make a video on that iaan liaan set of L2 slot 2 snap

There was a question in slot 1 on clocks where the angle between minute hand and second hand was asked. How to solve such questions?
I don't remember the question exactly, but it was something like
Find the angle between minute hand and second hand when the time is 15 minutes past 3.
It means it was asking the angle made when the clocks hits 3:15.
You can simply put it in the formula , DEGREE = 11/2 M - 30 H i.e 11/2*15 - 30*3 = 7.5 Degree
Hope it helps:)
Also there are two angles made at a particular time , in this case either it is 7.5 Degree or 360-7.5 =352.5 Degree
@@kshitijraj3652 both of these were not in the option.
7.5° angle is btwn minute and hour hand but the qst asked about the angle between second hand and minute hand
@@prajakta.s was the option 90 degree?
@@kshitijraj3652 I don't remember, but even I think it is 90° because it makes a right angle. Feels like should've used common sense instead of getting confused 🥲

Amazing Content......most underrated teacher.....no bullishit... to the point content.....🤌💪💪
Glad you think so!
Sir in the 3 element subset question, why aren’t we considering 132, 213 as the options?
We just have to pick a set,
So 123, 132, 213, 231, 312, 321 are all same. We'll choose the smallest of them ie 123
Sir what will be the 9th set in {1,2,3,4,5}......is it 3,4,5
3,4,5 will be the 10th set.
5 elements picking 3, so total 5C3 = 10 sets

Sir, the Q with taking sets of 3 digit, what will be the 7th set, why isn't the no.213 instead of 234 ?
Because 213 is not in the lexicographic order
We need to select the sets, and we'll arrange the lowest possible number.
So, 123 has other forms like 132, 213, 231, 312, 321. But only 123 will be considered.
