I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how meticulous you are about repairing the pieces. I've been a furniture artist for over 30 years and I've always looked for pieces that need nothing other than minimal repairs, because I've always felt intimidated about fixing them. I've learned so much from watching you, and I really appreciate you sharing your expertise. Thank you!❤
I could totally see the flower table in a playroom or better yet, in a solarium, surrounded by plants and soft white furniture, with a tea set on top.❤
I have to say this was an enjoyable video to watch. I loved every piece, but my favorite was the cottage type pink table that looked like a cloud. That color pink was the perfect vibe! My second fave was the green chest. Oh my, that shade of green is spectacular with the details in that piece!
That was a fun video to watch. You really did amazing things with the formica-covered furniture pieces! I think the green with the gold handles may be my favorite, but it was also cool to see how you transformed the little shelf into an orange bar!
I almost skipped this one because I thought I have watched all of your videos. Turns out I was wrong! I hadn't seen the green dresser. Now I need to go back and find any others that may have passed me by.
They are all beautiful! I have a hard time picking a favorite! You've done justice to each one. You really have some furniture reparing skills. I'm so jealous, however, I'm learning so much from you.
Katie as usual, loving all your projects not especially find the mustard colored piece. Didn’t really like the contrast, but I generally love your work. I find it funny that we both use yogurt cups to make small batch of paint. Great job dear.
I have to go with the red one. It's my favorite colour on my favorite style of furniture. I know pick up laminate furniture to remake because of you. Finishing up a red dresser with white drawers this weekend.
Although my favorite color is purple, my favorite piece of furniture is the green one, it is so beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us💜
I love the red!! I have an antique mahogany loveseat in my study. It was reapholstered before I bought it with a wine colored fabric. I would love to re-do it in a floral with some red and then I could add some accent furniture like that red shelf. It would look so good.
You are very talented! I have just come across your videos and am learning so much. Really want to try this. I like how you go into detail for us beginners.
The pale pink you used in that last flip is about the same as the shade I used to paint my bedroom--called barely pink. It's very subtle and pleasing to match to other pastels which makes for a restful bedroom ambiance.
I love how brave you are with color. You have taught me that, not only can covering up wood grain with paint be a wise and necessary decision sometimes, it can be beautiful. And I love how you leave bits of wood grain still exposed when you can, like in drawer fronts. I used to be one of those people that got mad anytime I saw painted wood but u and Angie at Transcend have made me a convert! 😂 And you have inspired me to try some of this stuff on my own antiques (a pie safe and vanity) that I dearly love the shapes of but hate the yellowish orange finish on. I just bought an old beat up nightstand in marketplace to practice. I am so excited. Thank you!
Katie, I love your videos because you do the job right. You are very thorough and have all the right equipment. I was in my 20s in the 1970s going through my "contemporary" phase until I went to Princeton New Jersey and saw REAL colonial. I loved the quality and elegant designs. After that, I grew disgusted with how cheap 1970s furniture was. You do a fantastic job making this old 70s junk look GREAT. I never have liked contemporary since my 20s and love English furnishings. The older I get, the more I appreciate the British. The world owes them huge thanks for the enormous contributions they made to the world, especially with beautiful homes and furnishings, AND good manners.
Those are amazing flips!!! All but the yellow were my favorites!! I don't think i could pull off the yellow in my home, but it's perfect for the piece. Truly gorgeous, Katie ❤
Yooooooooo Katie!!! Gun, to my head & 3 secs. to pick a favorite I'd be one dead MoFo!!! I literally wouldn't be able to decide on a favorite. They're all so cool. Hoping all is well my friend, Dirty Jersey out!!
Im new to furniture refinishing and happen to stumble across your videos! You put a lot of care and thought into each piece the quality shows. I have several antique pieces in my house that I know what to do with thanks to you Katie!
LOVE all of these pieces! I love how intuitive you are with each piece, you know what each piece should really look like! The Pink and Purple were my faves! THANK YOU for rescuing these pieces from the landfill! B~}
Fascinating to watch you perform your magic! I have only just found you and I was wondering what I can do with mdf kitchen cabinets that have like a stiff plastic coating on top please? Very shiney and brittle.
Katie, do you have a book on this stuff you could recommend? I can't keep track of ALL the different types of woods (and non-woods) used in and on furniture, and all the various treatments and products used on them. I'm overwhelmed even before I've begun! How do you even identify what material has been used on an older piece of furniture? A book with close-up photos of various woods, laminates, plastics and corresponding info about chemical treatments would be an IMMENSE HELP. Thanks...❤❤❤
You can’t learn it in a book. It’s the sort of thing where are there are an unlimited amount of variables so you just have to make your best guess through each step. As far as products or procedures, I use the same things over and over again. Clean, make repairs, sand, prime, paint, seal. My best advise is to stop overthinking things and start painting ❤️
@salvagedbykscott thanks. I'm a perfectionist, and I'm easily overwhelmed by all of this. Yeah, just do it! I can always sand it down or strip it again if it looks awful!
I definitely understand the desire to get it perfect in the first try but it just doesn’t work like that with this stuff. I often have to remind myself “it’s just paint!” 🤪
I love Painted furniture is properly done and appears to be solid and smooth and protective of the surface. It shouldn’t be porous and rough like unfinished chalk paint. I am not impressed with poorly painted and protected and classified as “ distressed”.
I loved this video!! I want to start getting into furniture flipping, but I had a couple questions. How do you know whether to use bondo or wood filler for a project? Like, what's the difference? Also, when should you use a paint stripper vs just sanding paint off of something? I must know!!
I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how meticulous you are about repairing the pieces. I've been a furniture artist for over 30 years and I've always looked for pieces that need nothing other than minimal repairs, because I've always felt intimidated about fixing them. Omg!! The dark stain and mustard paint is stunning! I did not think I was going to like that piece and I ended up absolutely loving it!
I could totally see the flower table in a playroom or better yet, in a solarium, surrounded by plants and soft white furniture, with a tea set on top.❤
That would be cool!
Loved them all, especially navy, green and pink and white!
I have to say this was an enjoyable video to watch. I loved every piece, but my favorite was the cottage type pink table that looked like a cloud. That color pink was the perfect vibe! My second fave was the green chest. Oh my, that shade of green is spectacular with the details in that piece!
I absolutely love the Pressed Fern!! Stunning!!
The yellow is spectacular!
THE THINGS YOU MAKE ARE INCREDIBLE. Such immaculate taste. I'm Nova Scotian but this makes me East Coast proud. :)
I just love this wood/orange combo. WOW so sharp!
Love green at the moment so the green one is my favourite. I'm looking forward to flipping furniture again once im out of the newborn stage.
These are all wonderful Katie! So inspiring to watch you too
The flower table is my favourite, all are beautiful as usual!

Hello Katie. I love them all, but maybe the red and orange. Overall, they are all fabulous!!🥰🥰🥰

I loved the rainbow video because I picked up something from each piece, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be the red!
Thank Katie, loved the purple dresser ❤
I loved them all! I was surprised that you made me like yellow and purple. Most I loved the green !😊
LOVE the yellow dresser, wasn’t sure when you decided to change the top drawers….but remembered Katie knows her stuff! Chef kiss! 💋

Loved the colorful walk through memory lane ❤
Katy, I am always delighted by your style, creativity, and skill♡
Colorful pieces are so beautiful! Love this compilation ❤
My favorite was the last table! I love it!
That was a fun video to watch. You really did amazing things with the formica-covered furniture pieces! I think the green with the gold handles may be my favorite, but it was also cool to see how you transformed the little shelf into an orange bar!
These are so adorable. I love all the colors. I think my favorite one was the deep green.
Good choice!
I really like the mustard yellow, red, orange, green and blue.
Hi Katie! I loved the Red and Pink the best!!! Great work!!
I almost skipped this one because I thought I have watched all of your videos. Turns out I was wrong! I hadn't seen the green dresser. Now I need to go back and find any others that may have passed me by.
I think this one was posted before recently.
They are all beautiful! I have a hard time picking a favorite! You've done justice to each one. You really have some furniture reparing skills. I'm so jealous, however, I'm learning so much from you.
I think you are a visual genius. I love every single one of these and I’m not easy to please. Masterful! 🤩
Katie as usual, loving all your projects not especially find the mustard colored piece. Didn’t really like the contrast, but I generally love your work. I find it funny that we both use yogurt cups to make small batch of paint. Great job dear.
Oh so pretty… the table was my favourite!
I have to go with the red one. It's my favorite colour on my favorite style of furniture. I know pick up laminate furniture to remake because of you. Finishing up a red dresser with white drawers this weekend.
I l8ve the pastel pink table. So so cute.
Love the purple and stain piece
These are all great, but my favorite color is green, so the cabinet you painted that color is my fav!!
Good choice!

The yellow piece is, BY FAR, my favorite!

Glad you enjoyed it!
even though i don't like pink the pink table is my favorite purely because of how satisfying that paint stripping was
Loved the green.
I love the red!! I have an antique mahogany loveseat in my study. It was reapholstered before I bought it with a wine colored fabric. I would love to re-do it in a floral with some red and then I could add some accent furniture like that red shelf. It would look so good.
All are amazing! I’m not a huge fan of orange but I loved that piece !
You are very talented! I have just come across your videos and am learning so much. Really want to try this. I like how you go into detail for us beginners.

Delightful! Have a good summer!
I loved them ALL!
the eggplant dresser!!!!!!! I want it!
The pale pink you used in that last flip is about the same as the shade I used to paint my bedroom--called barely pink. It's very subtle and pleasing to match to other pastels which makes for a restful bedroom ambiance.
The whole video was awesome. I’m inspired.

Please do! I love watching you work on furniture🌈
Love the recap. I swore I saw this last week, but didn't see it in the video list and thought I was going nuts until I read the description..
it’s been a week 😅 thanks for coming back to watch ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful work!
I love the depth you got in the green one by using a few thin coats. All of these are amazing.
Beautiful job!!! ❤❤❤❤

Don’t know how I missed that “yellow” dresser but love that renovation (as well as the others). Give me color! 😊
Those are amazing flips!!! All but the yellow were my favorites!! I don't think i could pull off the yellow in my home, but it's perfect for the piece. Truly gorgeous, Katie ❤

the red one with the sliding doors is a perfect spot for Mint decoupage
Im not much of a pink fan, but that pink and natural table was so lovely. It was hard to pick really!! You are brilliant and inspiring.
They were all beautiful, but my favorite is the yellow dresser!
I'm usually not into green but that one is lovely! All are beautiful but that one is stunning!
Wonderful.
They are all stunning - the orange piece really caught my eye. ❤
Im new to furniture refinishing and happen to stumble across your videos! You put a lot of care and thought into each piece the quality shows. I have several antique pieces in my house that I know what to do with thanks to you Katie!
