You can have problems with Rogan and his views on certain topics, but his ability to have conversations with pretty much anyone regardless of politics or intelligence is something I will always respect.

Joe says the topic is complex, he never claimed her opinion is outright wrong and the opposite would he the case. Else even told her if you have no clue then why do you have an opinion? Joe also cited what scientists said, he doesn't just state his own uninformed opinion like she did. She didn't even have a single source she just outright denied it without any evidence at all, while also admitting she simply doesn't know at all. Joe admitted he doesn't know, and he didn't take such a confident stance without evidence.
I know Joe has said some dumb things, but I respect the hell out of him for being true to himself. He also is open to changing his mind and can debate with someone while staying calm and composed.

He wasn’t wrong on that one, it’s just that he couldn’t think of arguments to back it up. One could easily argue that many women prefer the intellectual type, or the artistic type, etc. so saying that women are hardwired to be attracted to athletic type is just a dumb generalization.

Historically, in evolution, females will look for traits that have the highest reproductive success and a lot of the traits of the athletic-type will fall in line in higher reproductive success. As we are still evolving animals I think it's fair to make that comparison. Now, even though we are sentient creatures and can make the distinctive choice, we still have those genes that will have those effects, which is why I think that we have some ingrained attraction to a specific type of person, from both sides.

And even though hundreds of years might seem short from an evolutionary perspective, it does have an effect on the way we’re evolve. His entire upper body was leaning halfway across the table while Matt was reclined back explaining his opinion on heterosexual marriage. Joe took the position of defending a sexual orientation he does not share....why? Walsh was asked to come on the podcast to talk about his documentary "What is a Woman?". Joe obviously likes the doc and agrees with Matt about how crazy things have gotten in the world, especially in higher education. I used to watch JRE a lot back in the day but his borderline biological hatred for religion is boring. I don't know if I do believe in any of it either but when Rogan talks about the "divinity" of the fuckin Elf people from a DMT trip then makes fun of Christians for their beliefs. This leads him to often follow false leads or admit ignorance, which isn't always a net profit when he then has to backtrack, but especially not when he gives a platform to misinformation. The podcast has highs and lows but I do think as long as the listener/viewer stays vigilant and takes everything with a grain of salt and stays critical to everything that is being said, then it can be a massively entertaining podcast. But ultimately you're right, I do believe Joe always stays true to himself and he does admit when he's wrong. He's good at staying calm during arguments and he does question others' arguments, like is showcased in this video.

@@davidmaltais2912not really, there are other explanations which allow for that also. Proving something is actually very difficult, I believe the earth is round but it's not just because of one fact. For example, in the past people thought bad smells were the cause of illnesses so then the doctors wore masks with pleasant smelling things inside (you've probably seen the bird like plague doctor masks) and they noticed they got sick less. By your logic this "proves" that bad smells cause the illnesses. Clearly that isn't true and we know it isn't now. (There was other evidence for the smells as well, poor hygiene causes bad smells and germs to spread, they just noticed the bad smells not knowing about the germs)

I honestly really respect Joe Rogan. He always stays true to himself and also admits when he's wrong.
Joe is a hypebeast, he always buys in on the hype of something. This leads him to often follow false leads or admit ignorance, which isn't always a net profit when he then has to backtrack, but especially not when he gives a platform to misinformation. The podcast has highs and lows but I do think as long as the listener/viewer stays vigilant and takes everything with a grain of salt and stays critical to everything that is being said, then it can be a massively entertaining podcast.
But ultimately you're right, I do believe Joe always stays true to himself and he does admit when he's wrong. He's good at staying calm during arguments and he does question others' arguments, like is showcased in this video.
When does he admit he's wrong? Saying "I'm an idiot I don't know what I'm saying" is a cop out, not an admission

Honestly the flat earth and space is fake is very interesting. They are clearly lying about something. Even the iss videos where is all the space junk and satellites? You never see them. They admit the pictures of the earth are cgi and admit there’s only 1 “real” picture of the earth when we went to the moon the first time. This is a fact and very bizarre. Proving something is actually very difficult, I believe the earth is round but it's not just because of one fact.
For example, in the past people thought bad smells were the cause of illnesses so then the doctors wore masks with pleasant smelling things inside (you've probably seen the bird like plague doctor masks) and they noticed they got sick less. By your logic this "proves" that bad smells cause the illnesses. Clearly that isn't true and we know it isn't now. (There was other evidence for the smells as well, poor hygiene causes bad smells and germs to spread, they just noticed the bad smells not knowing about the germs)
