    i usally get up about 6 AM in the winter time, acctually i struggel a bit when i'am waking up, i snooz the alarm when it goes off for the first time, anyways i drink some water to hydrate my body and then make my bed however that is very important to start with in the morning and always do, get a light shower to get ready and concentrate, i pray, and next i prepare my breakfast, somtimes at home and some other time outside when i dont have enough time, finishing my breakfast i put on my work clothes

    Hi everyone! I usually wake up at about four in the morning, I don't take off my pajamas, I go to the car and wait for about ten minutes until my daughter comes to the car, I drive her to the bus station and then I come back home and back to bed. That is why I don't take off my pyjamas. Now I am going to sleep for more two or three hours and depending on the day of the week I have a different routine

    Hi Carys! I know, that I'm always curious about something, but this is me. Please, explain to us. You said "My alarm goes off at 8 AM". Why "off"? I thing it goes "on" because it starts to ring, or not? Thanks for this lesson and your patience. 🙂

    • @Caryscookes
      @Caryscookes  3 роки тому +4

      Goes off means it starts making the noise. Goes on, is not a phrasal verb. You could say I turn on my alarm

      Thanks, Rafael. You are right 'go on' is a phrasal verb. It is not appropriate in this context. Sorry, Martin - I may not have been clear. 💪💪
