To clarify about the unicycle workout - this is actually useful practice for some unicyclists - if you’re training to lift somebody else while riding the unicycle, this is one of the things your supposed to practice before you practice with a real human who can get injured if you drop them
Dr. Mike I had two people stop and talk to me in the gym when they noticed the Partial Reps Don't Count tank top I was wearing. They both went on and on about how much they enjoy you and this channel. Hope this makes your day even better.

Not just here, I'm impressed when I found (automotive) electrical repairs that were crimped and shrank. Thats the lazy mans bare minimum but the number of poorly soldered or just twisted and taped repairs made me praise a regular, good repair.
Because they're hard as fuck, even harder to that height, even harder still with the underhand grip, and twice as hard yet again for a woman, who pound for pound has like half the upper body strength of a man. That shit is crazy.

Realistically, that was more of a low weight cardio movement, so honestly form doesn't even matter. As long as he's burning calories he's gonna be fine

Russian and portuguese sound similar (to me at least as a fluent russian speaker), there are multiple videos on youtube about the phenomenon. If there was any reason I would think that would be it

Seriously though, I never thought I'd praise PF but their machines count your reps, so you can go to failure without thinking about the number, but still keep track of what you did! (now, if only their machines weren't always broken...)

I hope that you make a critique video about Peter Attia's exercise videos. Attia does not do overhead presses, because he worries about spinal disc compression. However, Attia does trap-bar deadlifts which also cause spinal disc compression and he uses much more weight doing them. He does not make sense.
I have been looking forward to this video. Please do more of these, but with a little less comedy so we can get more evaluations of fan's technique in the video.
When im in between splits or im exercising for maintenance i work out by “feel” only because i am familiar with my body and how much weight to move. Strongly suggest counting reps until you reach the goal you are working towards. After that itd be okay to workout by feel. The feels man

Hey Dr.Mike, love the channel! Would love to see more break downs of workouts for actual athletes as far as sport specific training rather than hypertrophy. Been starting to work with a lot of athletes now as a trainer and would love to hear your thoughts on some of the key differences between weight lifting for sport and weight lifting just to be lean and jacked. I know they're not mutually exclusive but the nuances are interesting to hear and read about.
I would absolutely love to see this -- as someone whose fitness goals include rock climbing, hypertrophic training is actually detrimental to me relative to pure strength training, but it's always seemed like there's a lack of science-based fitness content around training for maximizing strength while minimizing hypertrophy.

I posted this to one of your year old IMF vids, but also posting here as it's a newer vid that might get eyes: regarding intermittent fasting benefits and use for getting lean - you sound convincing, I don't doubt your credentials nor your real-life expertise, but Andrew Huberman also sounds convincing and brings up all sorts of references to studies on intermittent fasting, so, it's hard to figure out what's really the most useful info. I have taken college courses on biology, chem, microbiology and nutrition and it's still tough for me to really weigh the contradictory advice. Like your breakdowns though, Dr. Mike!
