I had the same thought. It's not clear from the video. The upgrades to the settlement buildings were announced before. Are those upgrades temporary? Or are those upgrades permanent and these temporary upgrades are on top of the permanent upgrades?

Hmm so what are IA players supposed to do for Questline 3 of the March 26th Rival Challenge? Do the Antiques Dealer quests auto-complete or do they have to age up to EMA?
Guild goods on championship reward is ridiculous. Biggest guild gets enough goods just from these while small guilds have to pay evem more FP to level their GBs 60+

ugghh ....just spent the last 2 weeks trying to catch up on these settlements.......now there only going to be temporary.......forget that...........hating all these changes to the game......used to be a fun casual game.......now one step closer to quiting the game

Main idea as far as I can see pushing player from auto play and passive gameplay and making more money.
Making settlement upgrades temporary is the worst of all worlds. Back to ignoring settlements.

You'd need to age up.

Not that it would matter to most but the "new" championship reward requires a road - the others didn't but the level 2 tower doesn't need a road!

Yes. Completing GE 64 will autocomplete all GE related quests.
Will we be able to get a platinum upgrade for the Druid hut for free during this second mini challenge?
If you have 2600 gold left, which is possible if you haven’t done not too many cities and didn’t buy crates after towns.

You'll still have the fully leveled settlement buildings. But there will be temporary extra upgrades.
