I am always impressed by how modern, efficient and clean everywhere is, the trains are all very new and look very comfortable. The drone footage is awesome and I could watch so much more. A very enjoyable interesting journey ❤️🇨🇳
Thanks showing us the beautiful modern cities in Guangdong in less than 12 hours . It is the fastest transportation network among the cities in the world. Be proud of China achievement
Rafa, I admire your strength and stamina. Gosh, visit 5 cities in 12 hours! Bravo! I really enjoy your traveling videos all over 🇨🇳 China. Please keep up your excellent work. 👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯
I used to take a bus from Shenzhen through Dongguan, in 2007, to do product inspections in Dalian which is a suburb of Foshan and then take a bus back to Shenzhen. Adding Guangzhou to it would not be difficult. I never got to Huizhou though. I sometimes used to go to Zhuhai rather than going back to Shenzhen as I had an apartment in a village in Zhuhai.
The infrastructure in the Pearl River Delta is awesome, and improving rapidly too. In the future you will be able to do a tour like this linking both sides of the PRD within 12 hours utilising the full PRD intercity railway network for more stops and taking the Shenzhen-Zhongshan bridge to get back to Shenzhen.
I was overwhelmed when I see the CHINA'S own maglev train .Amazing shot. All cities in CHINA is ultra modern. Thank you Rafael, today's concept is so good & love such travelling. ❤️🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳❤️❤️🙏
cannot believe that even an unknown city on the map(such as Huizhou) has one of the best infrastructures. So excited to go back to China and see the amazing changes
I'd been to HK, Shenzhen, Guanzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Beijing. I love to see more of China i my lifetime. Your videos are so helpful in providing infos. Thanks a lot!
Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Huizhou- Dongguan -Guangzhou -Foshan -Jiangmen -Zhongshan -Zhuhai -Macau -Hong Kong. Shenzhen-Dongguan-Guangzhou-Foshan is actually the world's biggest contiguous 'single' city (as in one can walk on a pavement surrounded by dense buildings from one end to another, without break), having overtaken Tokyo in 2015 according to the World Bank report. It now houses over 40 million people, and 50 million in it's metro count. The whole Bay area cities are 80 million
Nice! This is how a modern infrastructure should be. Amazing to see how clean and modern China is, not like the slum Oakland of California, one of the modern cities of the USA .
I live in the CA, in the vicinity that you mentioned, and it is a very sad case here with lot of homeless encampments all over.... I'm sad to say. And I don't know how they're going to turn it around because it's so far gone and in so much debt.
Nice video! I live in Huizhou and it was interesting to see my neighborhood. I have been visiting all the cities in your video but usually only one per day ;) .
It's a challenge on this vid, but In an indirect way, one get to appreciate what good infrastructure could do. I can imagine those are meetings and sales call to clients and vendors and those cities are huge commercial and industrial cities. Good job and Happy New Year Rafa!
Wow fantastic journey, incredible transport, so cleaned environment and efficient, great video done. Thanks Sir, best of luck and good health to you Sir.
Awesome! Tks for sharing. This is exactly what I have in mind, travel to a few cities for my next trip to China. With a very good train connection it makes sense to travel to few cities instead of visit Beijing only then return and next trip to say shanghai. This way can save money on air tickets and time too.
Besides Beijing and Shanghai, there are so many cities which can reach there by high speed trains in China. You can explore here in China in your next trip here. I am Chinese and living in Huizhou--one of the city in his video by the way.
The implication of this day trip is that the "Greater Bay Area" will have a high concentration of many university graduates and professionals in the high value technology industries of the future and in finance, distributed within easy commutes from each city centre. Meanwhile some of the low-end manufacturing industries that used to be in Dongguan and Guangzhou might be relocated elsewhere, including nearby countries within the RCEP trading bloc like Vietnam. As well, many of the Middle East OPEC trust funds will come to the GBA, to diversify their portfolio away from the US & Europe. The reason is obvious after the Ukraine war. These gulf countries need to minimize the risk of their oil funds being confiscated and robbed by the US & its allies, like what was done to the rich Russians. This GBA will be an important global focus for many decades.
When I lived in the Pearl Delta area in the mid to late 2000's I never got to go to Huizhou but spent plenty of time in the other cities. I can't get over how few people are about - because of Covid I expect.
The concept of "one hour life activities circle" is the driving force. Basically, it is expected that you could reach any point from anywhere within the GBA. It's not completed by any means. That is why there is still a lot of infrastructure projects going on. Some of those are stunning.
such a bummer you didn't get to experience the seamless transition from the intercity railway to a city subway. No hauling service needed to travel within these five cities, all of them are connected by subways and high speed rail. especially from Dongguan to Guangzhou, had you took the train, it would've taken you to Guangzhou East railway station in 35 minutes, right in the center of Tianhe District. Anyway, Thanks for showing us this amazing trip.
nice work - that was only half the GBA though - you still have Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and perhaps Jiangmen. Of course, Hong Kong and Macau. So a true round-the-bay would be 30+ hours.
Totally awesome, Rafa! This video was shot on Dec 9th, 2022? Just curious because was this before China lifted Covid restrictions? Now that China’s opening back up to the world, I’m guessing all of these areas you showed us will be getting a lot more visitors and business should really pick up. Hope so!🙏🤗👍
So envious of you. In Toronto, we have our 3rd world Via Train that crawls from city to city, and if you are lucky, you will arrive without delay. If, you are very lucky.
Yes! Guangzhou is pretty impressive! I also like that city a lot, although Shenzhen is still number one for me haha. I’m glad you like the video! Thanks for watching
I would have done this slightly different. I would have left out Huizhou and just done a lap of the Pearl Delta - Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan and Zhuhai and taken the ferry back to Shenzhen.
One thing I learned about high speed rail, you only need to get to the train station 20 minutes before train start. 15 min the gate start, 2 min gate will close. That's it.
@@fyt-fashiontrends many of them are but the high speed trains are decent. But speed means nothing if you're always late and the tracks are congested. 😂
@@mygogirlsbandcry Absolutely. Right now, German railways are pure chaos. They're renewing a lot of tracks but they fail to organise the network in the right way it seems. Plus, the flu wave hit rail companies hard and there wasn't enough staff to drive the trains. Cancelled trains also got really really common.

More surprisingly, all 5 are mega cities.
but at 0:45 wrong map is shown. Arunachal Pradesh isnt even administered by ccp.
but without that one cannot live in prc. So understand the compulsion.
