I have the Neo Vistas on pre-order. Very excited to see how they ride. I'm looking to use them as a fun cruiser and not to worried about how they handle speed. Hoping they can add a little excitement to my daily steady miles 😜
They'll be perfect for that
I actually like firmer shoes for my recovery runs. Noosa 15 is perfect.
We need another Glideride! Any comparisons to that shoe whether any if these or another pair you've run in? I too was a huge fan of that shoe and I'm referencing the version 3.
I also loved the Glideride! The closest shoe for me that I have tested is probably the Adidas Prime X2 but the shoe is so expensive. I haven't tried the HOKA Skyward X but I'm thinking it may be pretty similar.
Glideride 3 is one of the best running shoes ever, GOAT 🔥🔥🔥
Agreed. Glideride 3 is an overlooked shoe. One of the best.
Doctors of Running put Cumulus 26 as "Similar shoe: Glideride 3" in their review
OMG Yes!! I loved my Gliderides, had over 500 miles in my last pair 👌🏻
I found the New Balance SC trainer V2 mushy and clunky at any speed below Tempo. Like running with boots in sand. I was 💔. I am afraid I will get the same in the Neo Vista despite loving the Wave Rebellion Pro V1.
You might be surprised by the Neo. Definitely not mushy. Just smooth
I'm happy I bypassed the NB SC Trainer v2. Good comparison. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment!
i like my trainer v2s
I'm very interested in the Neo Vista, because most reviews say that it's a better version of the first SC Trainer, which is a way better shoe than the v2 already. I don't have enough mileage on the v2 to know how the foam holds up over time, but I have over 330 km in my current v1, and that shoe still feels amazing to me. The outsole is better too, more grip than the v2.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Neos foam is pretty close to SC Trainer V1 but I feel it's got more bounce and the rocker is smoother.
How's your V1 holding up? I love my Neo Vistas and I might get a V1 to get a similar experience
@@elainimiranda I'm at 420 km now, and it's still doing great. I usually have a pretty harsh wear pattern, and my left shoe has a part of the outsole that has worn through (at the lateral forefoot). I expected it to be a lot worse, because my shoes overall don't last this long. It hasn't affected the ride so far, and the grip is still solid. I still have a fresh pair in the box, so I'm taking the current pair to the absolute limit, to see how long it will last.
@@theghostofpcs2391 nice! I'm glad it lasts a lot! Do you think it would be okay for a heel striker? I have a lot of wear on my outer heels and toes. I'm excited to get a V1 now I know it's not only bouncy, it lasts
@@elainimiranda I'm not sure, because I'm predominantly a forefoot striker. Some heel strikers find the SC Trainer unstable because of the high stack, but the forefoot is quite planted for me.
Good review , Neo Vista 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the comment!
Another great comparison choice.
Thankyou!
NB doesn't sell SC line in my country so no competition:) heard so many nice things about Neo Vista so I'll check it. Can you tell me how 1080 v13 compares Neo Vista?
1080 is softer and more mushy, a lot more flexible. Neo has the plate and the rockered roll forward is much more prevalent. The uppers are very different.
Guess neo Vista isn't for walking?
@@gogigp not really suitable for walking as the rear rocker/bevel may make you feel like you are tipping back. Saying that I walked a few km in it on the weekend and it was ok...but yes it's not a walking shoe.
What’s another similar shoe as the Mizuno neo vista? That is lightweight ?
The Neo Vista is really in a league of its own, nothing really feels like it. It is not a heavy shoe by any means. It shares similar geometry with the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Flash 2.
What’s wrong with the voice my guy? This can’t be real.
🤣🤣 You like the nasal squeaky voice I have hey?
