Unexpectancy is already one of the greatest final boss themes in any indie game I’ve heard but this cover just captures the insanity perfectly and I love it
I love the progression of this video. Part 1: He's just going through the motions of making a frozen lasagna. But, at the end, he realizes "No. This isn't enough." Part 2: Richaad goes off the deep end finally, going purely insane as he begins making the pasta with great enthusiasm. Part 3: The flood gates are open! Pasta? On the Pizza? Absurd! But, you can see the insanity in his expression, as he has truly reached the pinnacle.
I was wondering why he was making pasta and then as we're getting to part 3 there's this epic moment in the song and he puts the pasta ON A PIZZA. HE WAS MAKING PIZZA THE WHOLE TIME. Seriously this is an absolute banger as usual, thanks Richaad.
I love how almost every cover of this I've seen actually uses the vocals from that one 1920s song like the original does, the second part really doesn't feel the same without it
@damsen978Well yeah but I think their point is how game ost covers will often exclude certain elements or instruments if the person feels it clashes with the style they're going for or whatnot
@damsen978 In addition to imposed technical limitations as mentioned, someone could also sing it themselves. Yes, the song is there to be sampled; but there's more than that.
Part 3 "The lone chef was face-to-face with the monster who was behind all of this trouble for his restaurant... He thought it was all over, and maybe now he can rest easy? But no... With a rage-fueled shriek sent to the heavens that would make gods tremble in terror, the lone chef blazed forth in a completely unbound Italian Fury, faster than grease catching flame to serve up one last plate of steaming-hot bonafide WHOOPASS!!"
During part 2, I was thinking "That looks like a pretty damn good Aglio e Olio, I wonder what he's going to do for part 3..." and then he dumped the plate on the pizza dough. My Italian senses short circuited and I haven't fully recovered.
My Italian senses caused me to teleport ten feet to the left, causing me to fall out of my 10th floor apartment. But I had some safety lasagna with me so I’m fine for the most part.

It's oddly fitting to the zany theme of Pizza Tower that these three videos went from covering a pizza chef's struggle to save his shop from annihilation to visualizing Rich's culinary journey to become Italian.
Love how every part of this song is just... well, so unexpected! You start off with a badass boss theme, where you kinda kick Pizza Face's ass, then suddenly you're hit with these 1920s vocals and complete change up of the song, before finally rushing straight for finale with Peppino completely unhinged.

"Did you know your full name is Peppino Spaghetti? That's unfortunate." after playing pizza tower and listening to this cover, i can confirm that spaghetti has always truly belonged on pizza.
The amount of emotions I felt from this remembering my first time beating this boss too. This is probably one of the best covers I have heard! Awesome work!
Not only does the pasta in Part 2 look delicious on its own, but this madman went full Italian in Part 3. Surely, Pizza Pasta himself is smiling down on us from heaven... or at least smiling down on us from Punch-Out.
After you get what you want you don’t want it. If I gave you the moon, you’ll grow tired of it soon. You’re like a baby, you want what you want when you want it. But after you are presented with what you want, you’re discontented. You’re always wishing and wanting for something. When you get what you want, you don’t want what you get. And though you sit upon my knee, you’ll grow tired of me, ‘Cause after you get what you want, You don’t want what you wanted at all!
I'm absolutely floored and I ain't even done watching yet. Keeping the samples from part 2, the hylics-esque hands dancing around the television, the raw frenetic energy bordering on mania, the sheer gall of that culinary twist.... That's a-one spicy meat-a-ball! Way to McFreakin' Go, Richaad, this was a masterpiece we will never forget.
These Pizza Tower covers are my first exposure to you, and I’m incredibly impressed by how good and true to the originals they are while adding your own flourishes without adding or changing too much. Keep it up!
This is the "done right" of unexpectancy metal remixes, HE EVEN HAD THE SKILLS TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THE FIRST PART OF UNEXPECTANCY 3 (this part 5:48) like no other metal remix of unexpectancy 3 has done that before!
He not only provides us with banging guitar covers, and high-production value music videos, but also always leaves a legitimate recipe in each video. Mad man.
When part 2 finished I was pretty satisfied, but there was still part 3 coming up. I didn't know what there'd be, yet when he started doing it, I knew exactly. Let him cook.
The pasta on the pizza is delightfully unhinged but feels fitting for our beloved Peppino Spaghetti. Was it good? Was it like Assassin's Spaghetti on a pizza? If not, and the pasta was too crunchy, I imagine how to make something like that palatable. Props for making pasta de aglio and for the tank top! Fantastic cover of Unexpectancy, it was fun and while I think your changes to parts where you just get to shred kick ass, I like that you still kept the samples for part 2! Keep on keepin on! 🍕
I may forever chuckle at how Part 2 of Unexpectancy, Part 2 of the final boss no less, is but a gentle reminder that Pizza Tower is one of the more absurd platformers you'll play while putting the unexpected right into the title of the song.
I can't explain the way I feel everytime I hear unexpectancy 3 is just so fucking good!! It feels like a emotional rush ,just imagine that part of the battle ,the rain the Thunders on the background the frenetic battle against all the previous bosses and the cherry on the top ,the final battle with pizza head is just aaaah!! The way the music just go and chill expressing that finally prepping is going to put a end to he's nightmare with he's very own Italians hands
Absolutely knocked it out of the kitchen with this one. I love that you used parts 1-3 as like a little story. I especially like the “unexpected” twist for part 3 it genuinely made me laugh. The overall quality of the covers you have made so far are perfect. I can’t wait to see what comes next! Another note: can you just upload a green screen of all the peppino mannerisms. The production quality for these Pizza Tower covers is actually incredible
It's Richaad motherfucking EB, baby!
Pizza Tower deserves it. Easy GOTY contender
@@xCheckMate A bit too soon for now.
Let's wait to see what other indie devs are up to.
"Did you know your full name is Peppino Spaghetti? That's unfortunate."
after playing pizza tower and listening to this cover, i can confirm that spaghetti has always truly belonged on pizza.
it does, if you plan on going on a 5 hour marathon that is
@Leeloo_the_fox ok
Wow. This is... unironically... such an incredible cover of the Unexpectancy tracks. Well done!
The amount of effort he puts not only on the cover itself, but also the visuals is incredible.
I was waiting for 6:11 and i guess i got what i wanted
3:16 I love this part. 👍
6:49 has always been my favorite bit of part 3 and mama-MIA did he nail it so well!!
You took something I liked and made it into something I now love! I can’t thank you enough!
I'm not gonna sugarcoat it.
This is pretty good.

3:01 YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANT
YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANT
YOU WANT, YOU DON'T WANT
AT ALL, AT ALL
this HAS to be the best one yet. pizza time truly never ends
Wrong song btw lol
After you get what you want you don’t want it.
If I gave you the moon, you’ll grow tired of it soon.
You’re like a baby, you want what you want when you want it.
But after you are presented with what you want, you’re discontented.
You’re always wishing and wanting for something.
When you get what you want, you don’t want what you get.
And though you sit upon my knee, you’ll grow tired of me,
‘Cause after you get what you want,
You don’t want what you wanted at all!
This made me cry a bit. It was SO GOOD. You captured the emotions perfectly and amplified them. Masterfully done, flawless cover.
This dude cuts his vegetables with an axe.
Wonderful job capturing all the little bits that made the original so wonderful, while also filling it out in your own way!
Peppino says NO to trans rights.
@@FutaYuuta peppino does not care about trans rights because he is currently fighting a giant pizza trying to kill him at every turn
@@FutaYuuta I think that's something Pepperman would say lmao
@@gabbyn.3049 More way to like Pepperman.

A spaghetti pizza? That was something of a bit of unexpectancy right there. This cover was worth the wait 😎👍
7:11 I need a gif of just this. 😂
Customer: “You’re late, *NO TIP.”*
Peppino: 5:46
Peppino: *_EEYAAAAOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!_* FORGET-A THE 30 MINUTES!! IMMA DELIVER THESE FISTS DIRECTLY TO YOUR FACE, *_FREE OF CHARGE!!_*
The look of sincere enjoyment of the pizza pasta at the end just sells it for me.
He not only provides us with banging guitar covers, and high-production value music videos, but also always leaves a legitimate recipe in each video. Mad man.
7:37 bro went HAM on the guitar there!!
That pasta/pizza combo was... unexpected 😂
I love that Pizza Tower even corrupted Richaad. I'm absolutely obsessed with this game.
We have been blessed with 3 Pizza Tower covers on a row. Thank you so much Mr Richaad
This cover literally gets me through every rush at work. I feel unstoppable!
Nice
The Italian guy when he sees somebody break pasta in front of him:
Deep, *deep* down, theres a peppino spaghetti inside all of us...
...and one day, it will be pizza time...
I may forever chuckle at how Part 2 of Unexpectancy, Part 2 of the final boss no less, is but a gentle reminder that Pizza Tower is one of the more absurd platformers you'll play while putting the unexpected right into the title of the song.
Man the cosplay is perfect
Amount of effort you're putting in these covers is simply amazing
Im glad you even added the suspenseful intermission bit that plays between the first and second phases, most people forget that exists
Once again we have been blessed with another epic cover from Richaad! Absolutely amazing.
And of course peppino is no chill in any point
This was beyond hype. Also I wonder if you'll eventually do the other boss themes from pizza tower like pepperman strikes.
To finally demolish the tower, it remains to make a cover for the "thousand march" and it will be gorgeous
We not gonna talk about the amazing drop at 4:39 No one? Damn
"Delivery in 30 minutes?
No, I am sending your asses into the afterlife in 5 minutes or less!, free of charge!"
-Peppino basedghetti
Where’s the Italian accent :(
@@brandye3039Delivery in a 30 minutes or a less?
No, I am a sending your asses into the a afterlife in a 5 a minutes or a less".
They are amazing and I just want to see them in a mod for the game
