    Do your experiences with Temu differ from mine? Or do you have a favorite place to shop for art supplies? Let me know!

    I've been so very happy with all my purchases from Temu. I have ordered about 10 times, large orders. I only had a couple of items not work and they were so cheap I didn't bother about them. I have gotten a whole craft room for just hundreds of dollars, if I had tried that at a craft store I would've spent thousands upon thousands for all the dies, stamps, paper, watercolor paints and much more.

    Do you never read the description? They tell you what the material and the size is.

    I just don't get it 9 times out of 10. I hear the same thing again and again "I thought it would be bigger." Doesn't anyone look at the description? THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE MEASUREMENTS

    For some reason only known to you, you have a negative opinion before you try anything. It makes your opinions invalid 90 % of the time. Why is that ? I am curious.

      Clearly she loves to hear herself to talk, 40 + mins for a mediocre video saying the same thing again and again. Her art is not good either, so, i don’t trust her opinions anymore #narc

    They have the sizes on the website of literally everything you buy and thanks to google it pretty easy to find out corresponding sizes from cm to in. So just look at the size before you buy it so you’re not surprised. And honestly I feel like you had made up your mind about them from the beginning. I’ve always got what I expect bc I read the description carefully. If you got plastic instead of some sort of stone tray it’s likely bc you THOUGHT it was stone. But it says plastic

    The one thing I love about Temu is they actually list the actual sizes of things. I have ordered things and been shocked by the size, but it’s been my own fault or not reading the descriptions correctly. I haven’t ordered from Aliexpress since I’ve started using Temu. I had a lot of clinkers with Aliexpress as well. It seems you went in to your review with a pre-negative attitude. Your prerogative, but why bother.

    I’ve actually been very pleased with most of my purchases from Temu. And it’s been very easy to get refund on items that were damaged or not as described. Be sure to read the Specifications tab for what the items are made of and size. If it differs from what you receive, note that on your return.

  • @veystone2580
    @veystone2580 10 місяців тому +7

    They DO have the sizes of everything, so is not Temu's fault is you didnt check the sizes to then complain is smaller than you thought! They also state the material things are made of! If you have taken the time to read...
    I think u are really hateful and did this just to trash Temu.

  • @karenl8837

    Temu has been a much better experience for me than Ali express. If you’re buying from ali you’re often paying more and it’s the same stuff. Your final summary is weird, to be honest.

    You can return anything you don't like. A lot of the products have a click on pull down menu that has a list of various sizes and colors. You have to click on that to choose the color or size of the thing you want. Larger sized pieces are more expensive than the price shown for the small sized item which is usually the item in the ad displayed while you are shopping.

    "I don't feel I got my money worth" Then go to A-zon and look up the same items and see how much you'd pay there. Then come back here and tell me you didn't get ur money worth, lol. If you have an issue because of this with Te, than next video I want to see you complain about A-zon selling the same cheap stuff far overpriced. :)

    I've not had alot of disappointment from temu, not sure if you looked at the size of things before ordering, I've gotten a few things that were broke due to the way they mail out stuff..I've had no problems with returning or having them credit me anytime dissatisfied or damaged items, remember cheap means just that, you want high end don't shop there...gwen

    I have ordered from Temu, description is given, but clothing sizes not always correct. Some slightly larger or smaller than stated, but it is not a serious issue as they will replace.
    I have ordered paint by numbers, one was great as it was on canvas, the paints were good, the other was crappy as it was on plastic, but again the paint was good. I should have paid closer attention to the description.

    I have purchased from Temu so far it feels like a good option for what I’m looking for. I have purchased art, yarn, needle crafts, clothing, and shoes. They are good to order from plus you find some really cool things. Like your prints. I have also noticed that a lot of people buy and resell their stuff from them. Either way it’s all the same.

    I have ordered from Temu. The Baohang watercolor paper has great reviews and @5×7 size was $1.98. The same paper on Amazon and Ali Expess is way more expensive. I did receive 200gsm not 300gsm in one of my orders. They refunded my money and I did not have to send it back. I try to stay away from branded product knockoffs, but overall I am happy with my purchases. Since just about everything is made in China, I figure I may as well cut out the middle man. I was told Temu is like Amazon and Ali in that individual sellers sell their stuff on Temu. I do not know if this is true.

    You are quite the complainer! If you looked at the dimensions of the plastic boxes in the bigger box and own a ruler, you would have easily figured out they were too small for your needs. Also, you flashed your receipt for your Temu purchases and it clearly showed the large pink pouches in pink, not red so you made the mistake. And if you pay so little for things, don’t you already know they will be cheap? What world do you live in? Sometimes all one needs is a cheap item. Why didn’t you simply get a label maker if you just want to print out address labels (rather than something that you’re not familiar with).
    You even didn’t address the more pressing problems with Temu (ie personal and financial info stolen from those that use the app). 37:09

    Almost 1 hour and 15 minutes of straight complaining. I have ordered from both Aliexpress and Temu and find absolutely no difference except Temu is faster and shipping better. If you start a “review” knowing you are going to hate everything, why do it? What good does this do?

    LOL I just think that it is funny how many people miss pronounced Temu ( it is correctly pronounced Tea-Moo) ❤😂🎉😊 If you order Temu by Air it will automatically come in a orange package because it literally came from a Temu warehouse in USA & was shipped thru USA standard postal delivery service with the regular mailman. If you order is really heavy or a machine or furniture then they will deliver it by sea on a ship because it usually comes from a warehouse overseas which means they are not very expensive but very great quality. I have received both types of packages from Temu usually within 1-2 weeks of placing my order.

    Alright, after having made a few orders from Temu now (each one with a €20 coupon, because luckily I have multiple email addresses and also multiple mobile devices at home lol), I can say that I'm really happy with my purchases on their site. I have ordered mostly art and craft supplies and also some stationary stuff (desk organizers mostly). And I really like what I got. The quality is decent for the low price. So yeah, I'm really happy with what I got and I think it's def money well spent. Especially with the coupons.
    Oh, and btw. They aren't tricking you with the prices or anything. Yes, the discounts aren't really discounts, the discount prices probs are the regular prices of all these items. BUT even then the prices are still much lower than on A-zon. So you definitely are saving money when you by on Te instead of A-zon (talking about the same products of course).

    This is the first negative review I've seen for Temu. I've never seen any of your other videos, so I don't know if you are just generally a negative person or what. You seem to be very passionate about another website, you should probably just stick with them. For future reference, reading the description and paying attention to the details such as size, materials etc would help to eliminate disappointment. You can't really blame them when you aren't reading the provided information. Also, you commented several times that these plastic items smell like plastic. What should they smell like?

    I have gotten a lot of things from temu! It’s good with shipping seeing how it comes from China. Only takes like a week. Also you have to realize where your buying from! It’s like getting stuff from the dollar store! Your not going to get stuff like caramel dache? Can’t bee an art snob it’s really stuff to try out! I have found some good stuff though like paper, cheap markers, scissors, stationary and stuff! It’s cheap stuff it’s not going to be vegan shit! It’s like dollar general stuff get a grip!

    I love my little printer, it was so easy to set up, im 68 and have set up my smart tv, wireless printer, wi fi bulbs and just bought myself a nintendo switch. I love techy stuff and gadjets. I've printed loads off from my photos for my art journal. You have to darken the picture as if it's normal it won't print properly. Also if it's not fully charged it won't print, you can also colour the picture with pens.I bought some watercolours called Jaxsons and found out they were the exact same paints as prima paints but more expensive!!! I was furious I messaged the company and asked them to confirm this and they did!!! I told them I wouldn't have bought them if I had known that and it's not fair. They told me loads of companies do it and there's nothing wrong with it!!!! They said " it's like buying steak from different supermarkets"!!!! So prima Jason's, mungyo, Jane davenport ALL the same paints but we buy thinking we are getting different, it shouldn't be allowed!!!

    I think the printer seemed to be ok... I think perhaps you were a little nervous as doing on screen live so didnt get a chance to familiarise yourself with it. The icons seemed pretty self explanatory. Hand sanitizer and thermal print causing issues is a conspiracy theory... the alcohol in the sanitizer will cause the paper to react but will not cause any harm whatsoever. That's a fake theory you heard.

    • @Nattosoup
      @Nattosoup  Рік тому +1

      I do have a long-term anxiety disorder, so it's safe to say I'm always nervous! RSD makes it challenging to even go through and answer comments sometimes, but it's something I'm working on with my doctor.
      RE hand sanitizer and receipts, I was warned about mixing the two by a nurse back in 2019. If you could provide a source that disproves it, I'd appreciate it, because I'm finding a lot of sources that cite studies that prove the dangers of mixing BPAs and hand sanitizer, as it makes your skin more receptive to absorbing it.
      Here's an example, albeit not a great one- www.mensjournal.com/adventure/why-its-dangerous-use-hand-sanitizer-handling-receipts

    I know you review a lot of the more affordable Chinese brands, but I've stopped trusting them because there’s no consistency in quality. Even if you buy the exact same product, there's no telling if it's from a good batch or not. I Don't really see the reviews helping me much as regards to shopping choices, fun as they are. It's tempting to find a diamond in the rough, but so much waste is generated trying to find them.

    • @Nattosoup
      @Nattosoup  Рік тому +2

      That's a legit point! While I do have a wealth of tutorials and reviews for higher quality products, my analytics point to the cheap junk as being the most viewed. I'm glad I'm nearing the end of the Student Grade Showdown though- all those cheap watercolors were burning me out. I'm sorry these types of reviews aren't helpful to you though- I have a professional grade playlist that doesnt get enough love!

  • @melissaaldosari8024
    @melissaaldosari8024 Рік тому

    Seems kinda expensive for what you got. But, maybe that’s because we didn’t see the watercolor palettes yet. I’ve not used this company, but what I’ve seen, it seems fairly easy to find the same or similar products on Amazon for a similar price, usually. The “better” items are more expensive.
    I’m very curious about returns and exchanges. Would you consider trying to return/exchange the items you aren’t happy with and the bags that were sent in the wrong color?

    Girl you're preaching to the choir. But, anyway, so far the art supplies I've purchased from Temu have been enjoyable to use (skin tone makers, metallic watercolor paint, metallic markers, and diamond paint sets). I've purchased non-art related items too that I'm happy with. BUT, my huge issue with TEMU is that sometimes the packaging is like a kindergartener was working that day lol. One time, I received a package where the heavy larger items were mixed with smaller fragile items that got ruined because of the smushing. You can file a complaint, but the items that got ruined were under 1 buck so I just moved on. I still order from TEMU since then and the packaging has been ok (hit or miss I guess). But, I guess I will file a complaint to put it out there though.
    Btw, I also order art supplies from Amazon, Dickblick, Scrapbook, and sometimes Arteza prior to TEMU. Furthermore, about art stealing, which is an entirely different topic, I do not condone that what so ever. I'm a colorist and I will not purchase AI generated coloring books...that's stealing from artists.

    Just had my order come in and I’m NOT normally an online buyer, but I do live in Canada where all art supplies are way more $$$than in the USA…and if the prices look reasonable…the exchange rate + shipping and duties are crazy! So when I saw the exact items I’d been wanting at reasonable prices and with free shipping, I ordered 50 x2 empty wc full pans, small baohong pads in hp and cp to try out, and a small leatherette case of 5 travel watercolor brushes. It arrived quickly, undamaged and (because I’d been forewarned by UA-camrs like you to read descriptions very carefully 🫶🏻) no 😢 surprises! Yay!
    I do agree with the opinions you expressed in the second half of the video, though, so this will probably be a once and only ‘spree’.
