Loved the retro feel of this video. The Harlekin BBS Centercaps are so damn cool! I've been looking for months for a set of CitiSport rims, but now after I've heard all of this, I may go for an aftermarket rim, which is more customizable. Love your collection.

I totally understand why it's so important for wheels to be original. When I started my project car, I searched high and low for original AMG Monoblock Aero II wheels and I eventually found a set in Cape Town. I didn't want to put anything else on the car because my mind was set on those. I eventually found a second set but of super rare original staggered ones I don't plan on ever selling them.
I envy your wall, i got mine started with a set of azev type a's and a set of Porsche Turbo twists.

Wheels wheels and more wheels. Excellent stuff. Next time you get a chance come to Australia and check out the wheels here. Simmons, Neales, ROH, CSA (makers of the famous "Bathurst Globes"), Dragway, and many more. There's a huge JDM following here too, so you'll find all that stuff as well. And like every enthusiast scene, there's learning which rims go best with which car. Got a VL Commodore? Gotta be the steelies. XY Falcon? Bathurst Globes. Or the incomparable Simmons that goes with anything.
Beware though - you'll need another shelf for your wall once you see what's here. At the very least you need a set of Bathurst Globes. And a set of Simmons. Always thought the tried and trusted V5s were hard to beat, but you do you.

I see those original fifteen52 RML Snowflakes. My boy Pat has those on his Scirocco II from one of the first runs they made of those with the black accents.

Could you go more in depth into PCD conversion for wheels? I have a set of Advan Sa3r in 4x114.3 I would like to convert to 4x100
You can this set in a lot of places. Will cost 200-300 i guess. And those conversionsets will make your wheel come out 25mm or more. Keep that in mind..
@@Tom_pr I'm not talking about spacers mate. His wheels have a new pcb re-drilled, probably welded also. That is why i need info so I can keep the offset.
I bought a set of bbs style 5 off Craigslist. Staggered 18x8 and 18x9. Would these be considered rare as they are normally 17”?

There is a ownership stake, and production is sourced from KW factories :-)

Next time your in the UK have a look at image split rims they have been making 2 and 3 piece for years all made to order.
