The details about my husband Hugh is not all correct. I was there and he did not invite Nikita into the car. Nikita was the person whos brother murdered him. Nikita used to work for us washing the car and doing odd jobs for us. When we came back from Ochi we picked up Junior from water house and came back home. We lived in RedHills. I cooked dinner and then we left for the studio, planning on eating when we came back. When we got back from the studio i went into the kitchen to share the food. I noticed that the pots with the food was sitting on the counter and the stove gone. I started looking around and noticed that everything that had a plug on it was gone.. Going back into the living room where Junior and Hugh was i noticed the tv nd vcr was gone Junior and Hugh then went to the neighbours house and asked and they said they saw Nikita there in and out but didnt pay it any mind as he was always there and he worked for us, so thought nothing strange We all drove up to Nikitas house and his brother opened the door. He said Nikita is not here..Same time a load of boxes fell and Nikita fell out. He was hiding behind the boxes. Junior had a machete and started slapping him and asking where Hughs stuff was. Nikita lied and said he didnt take anything We left and went to the police station and made a report and the police went and picked him up The next day we were driving down four roads to go pay a sounds man as his new record Hey Good Looking was being promoted at a dance. The guy who we went to see was not there and were were told to come back later Later we went back and as we turned on the road. Nikitas brother waved down the car. We stopped in the middle of the dirt road. Nikitas brother came to my side of the window and was talking to Hugh across me asking where his brother was. Hugh said he is still in jail and wont come out until he gets his stuff back. I then heard Junior saying Mundell drive!! I looked back and saw a guy on each side of the car back seats At the same time i turned around and saw Nikitas brother pulling a gun out of his waist. I said Hugh duck and drive!! The guy started shooting right accosts my face into the car and hit Hugh in his head. I felt heat down my neck and my arms were burning. The car was not moving so i flung my foot over and pressed the gas The car wheel was turned because we were about to park when we stopped but for some reason Hugh stayed in the middle of the road. So when i pressed the gas the car twisted and ran into a light pole. There was blood everywhere and Hugh groaning with blood spraying out of his head down my neck. I see Junior ducking or kind of laying down across the back seat and then quickly opening the door and slid out and ran A crowd started gathering and i jumped out the car and picked Hugh up while pregnant and layed him on the back seat and took off driving with my arm on the horn all the way to university hospital. Junior then arrived at the hospital..Hugh died. I had a girl Toni Kaye Riley Mundell This was hard to write but i just had to

I just can't listen to Led Zeppelin and Soundgarden forever - I have been getting so heavily into reggae for years now - also suits my vibe better as I roll into my 50's. The 80's in Jamaica was the Seaga days. One of the worst periods of time in Jamaica after due to the influence of corrupt politicians, political tribalism and illegal guns. Watching this video has enlightened me about a favourite musician Hugh Mundell. I had no idea him and Junior Reid were close friends. The piece about Tenor Saw being killed by Super Cat blew my mind! Makes me wonder if this is why Cat could not or chose not to return to Jamaica for many years.

For a music which espouses peace, love and unity, the number of reggae artists who have fallen victim to gun violence is regrettale. Unfortunately as roots reggae gave way to dancehall the lyrical content changed , glorifying violence and lots of slackness.

Logic would tell us that Saw died by hit and run. The cars drive on the other side of the road. If you aren't used to that when you cross you look left instead of right when you cross. It makes sense to me. He probably wasn't dead straight away and if the driver had stopped they might have been able to get him to a hospital and save him. What are you talking about? Tenor Saw was hit by a car and killed as confirmed by Burro Banton in videos on youtube. Nitty Gritty didn't threaten Super Cat for shooting Tenor Saw, he (probably) threatened Jr Cat for damaging his car and Super Cat got involved. Please do some proper research.
