Reminder that Gaijin butchered the York. It's effective ammo supply has been completely halved, removed its solid AP round, and it still cannot take two of the same, non-default belts into battle.

The Balloons are made to take down or at least scare divebombers to fly higher so they would avoid them but Flaks could hit them (at least that's that i heard)
Balloons are indeed causing a lot of casualties among aircrafts flying above the battlefield. However if said balloon reveals to be Chinese it is much likely that the us government will take immediate decisions to take it down using a 200 million dollar worth air superiority 5th gen fighter and finally making those 8 years of development and 302 billions of pentagon budget worth.
