For anyone in the US wanting to buy Schmincke paints, getting them shipped from Jackson's is generally the cheapest option, even with international shipping.
That's my line of thinking ! Order more because I would rather spend the money on art supplies and not shipping.Lets just go with that 🙄😊
Schmincke uses the exact same paint that they use in the tubes, for their pans. The best way to pan the tubes is to fill them half way, let them dry for a few days and then top them up. It's the same way they do it in the factory. You must have a look at their line liquid watercolours called Aqua Drop. Nice and transparent and works great in an airbrush.

I don’t feel so bad. When I wanted to start colored pencils and I started following you I went crazy with pencils. All kinds of brands and not a partial set but I had to buy them all, LOL!! No worries I am sure I will use them all eventually. You will love the Black Velvet brushes. That is what I use when I watercolor.
Some people plowed their cash into the stock market and some people plowed their cash into art supplies :)

I started 6 years ago with a michaels $5watercolor set and $5 brushes so it can be done. Great way to start and see if interested.

also, want to warn you, potter's pink is BEAUTIFUL but it separates BADLY. might want to ALWAYS use ox gall with it. schminke does make it, but so does W/N (cheaper). helps watercolor blend better
The Medeen brand empty tin boxes for watercolours are very good quality and very cheap. Also you can get them in colours other than black.
