They didn't catch a bad person, they turned a good person through peer pressure into a "criminal"
Exactly this is so wrong in so many ways...
Exactly
If I could only hit the thumbs up 1k more times on that comment.
Drake pendragon Yes. For some of the kids. But you can see that Jesse was a loner, and not a drug dealer. It was his first time when he did it for the cop. Jesse wasn't a bad person
It's a tactic they use. There are more serious incidents that happen on a daily than to hem someone up for .6 grams of weed. Crazy.
Imagine people going through this much effort to arrest high schoolers for weed
Like the vid says, it's too fill their pockets not just their ego
to arrest high schoolers who normally wouldn't even have had weed!
People with small dicks will do anything to feel better about themselves.
jbot91 right that shit is soooo lame🙄

As a school teacher, I feel such strong empathy for these parents. Having a child that struggles with being alone is very, very heartbreaking and difficult.
Clearly not. I spent most of my childhood alone, and it seems like my parents couldn’t have given two shits. Nor did my teachers. But hey, I turned out alright.

SugarBooty entrapment should be illegal
Entrapment IS illegal. The difficult part is convincing a jury.

Arianna P I don't think autism is a mental illness, semantics but still
SugarBooty I guess I meant mentally challenged but either way unable to fully comprehend and analyze the situation and failure to identify the consequences that would happen. There's no way he'll get charged

Preventing school shootings is extremely difficult not to mention dangerous. Manipulating a kid is way easier
@@bajorekjon doesnt seem extremely difficult for literally every other developed country in the world

This what happens in small town USA when you're dealing with cops who are extremely bored due to the lack of crimes going on in the area. There's absolutely no reason tax dollars should wasted on a operation like this. But as I previously stated this is what happens when a department is bored and push their officers to make a quota
This was in a very populated town in California
I lived in a town like that. All the cops did were write traffic tickets and bust teenagers for booze and pot
it is how system works. I live in Bulgaria and is absolutely the same. If the town is not from the biggest ones they create job for themself so more working cops to exist . In my town has 2 police stations with so many structures guess why...kids and people everyday get caught with weed 1 gram. If has no enough crimes they blame people in crimes by making someone to hide drugs in your home or car, things like that. And even they offer small money like 30 bucks for information or things like that.
I grew up here and the cops would sit across the street to pull over kids leaving school. I got two tickets leaving school!
Also pulled over for skateboarding after 10pm. Sit down on the curb! What are you doing!
I’m glad our police force is almost bullying kids into buying drugs for them, and not finding murderers.
It's not almost, its literally bullying and pressuring a venerable person that isn't capable of saying NO because of his mental state . . .

Jessie saw this as an act of loving his friend. We will go to extreme lengths to keep people due to the trauma of losing someone because we don't understand we hurt them or that they are not good people.

This is fucked up. Cops are suppose to stop crime, not help cause it.
I think they were looking for people who was SELLING drugs in the area(which is going to be sold to someone unnoticed). I'm not huge fan of America but this simple stuff should be understood.
Bold Erdene I understand that. They did get a lot of people that did already use or sell drugs. On the individual level though, you have to understand that an officer seemed to spend a lot of time with a kid that had no friends so that kid would have done anything for him.
Bold Erdene The law does apply to him but he was almost forced into it by a police officer. When a police officer attempts to make you do something so they can get more money, that should be a criminal charge.
He found him selling drugs which is illegal. Ok, he was autistic but does the law not apply to him because of it? The officer's job is to find people who are OR willing to break the law.
Bold Erdene But when you're actually tempting someone to break the law and trying to walk them into it they should not be charged. Nobody at that school obviously would have done a thing if you watch the full video. Until he was put into a different environment with the only person that would be his friend he would do such a thing.
this is absolutely horrible. a cop went after an autistic kid and harassed him to get weed. and the cop is probably praised for it. that man is fucking sick.
Kleiny-ku America is sick.
Rage winter45 68 Uh no... their are different levels of autism...my uncle is autistic and he isn't as you put it "completely fine." You have very little experience with, or knowledge of autism.
Uhm, yes. I have 2 family members that are completely autistic. One is severely autistic to the point that he literally has to stay in a home for him because he's so hard to keep up with. His parents got too old to take care of him, and this kid can literally beat the fuck out of his own Dad because of how big he is. He is 6'4 and looks like a heavy weight boxer. He carries around his WWF/WWE toys and if any one of them is missing, he knows instantly.
In my perspective, autistic people just don't have social skills. They could be violent and they could not be depending on the situation, but they are literally normal people if you get to know them. I've lived with one ~14 years.
I also have an uncle who may look a bit 'odd', but he speaks entirely normal. He's diagnosed with acute autism, and he's probably one of the smartest people I know. The way he thinks is so beyond far-fetched that it actually makes him a genius because no one else thinks like he does. That's something that taught me a very special life lesson, when someone as normal as me is being taught by an autistic radiologist about life. The only down side is that he gets very angry in situations that no one understands him. Its almost like a rage that last for an hour, and it dies down. But it doesn't preemptively make him no longer able to live life as a normal human. Its beautiful. So to take your rage out on someone because you probably don't have a best time with people that have autism is utterly ridiculous, including the fact that his entire basis was that autistic people are completely fucking normal human beings, and you denied that which actually makes me really mad.
Dude is fucking sick , them young cops get that badge then it goes to there brain . The cop should be fired for his actions.
Should go to prison!!!
to anyone young who has had this happen: I was expelled in the sixth grade for giving someone a multivitamin they said I was selling speed no money was exchanged and they never caught me with anything. yet I was still removed from school and given probation. the hardest part was being shunned by my classmates for the rest of eternity or so I thought, after high school, everything changed. I still went down a bad path. it took me till I was 45 to recover. please don't follow my lead you can still make a good life it's not over yet. prove you are a better person than they are and be true to you

Love to Jesse and his family. As a high schooler with autism I understand the stress and struggle of social life especially with other teens. And for his one "friend" to do that is just messed up. I couldn't even imagine... if i was with that officer they would probably have to taze me cause I definitely wouldn't be holding back. I love the majority of officers who are genuinely good people. But when u get people like this thats one more thing that ruins a police officers image.
The entire system that allowed this to happen is the problem not the officer who actually did it. One bad apple spoils the bunch.
I'm also on the spectrum, I have no friends and to be fair I don't want no more since I've really never had a true friendship and the amount of betrayals I've had is crazy.

Marijuana is criminal... but entrapping a handicapped kid isn't criminal? What the fuck are we doing in america?
When will we hold law enforcement to the same laws we have to abide by? This place gets more and more fucked up as the days go by
Law enforcement are a bunch of little bitches who think they're all that because they have a badge. Most of their time is spend doing bullshit like this they arent dealing with REAL criminals. Did this operation catch some local kingpin? no because when they're put face to face with real gangsters they're little bitches.
Oh PU-LEEZ you think the autistic was gonna make it into college? These kids didn't care about their education because if they did, they would stop and fucking think. Oh wait i can mess up my college resume if i do this. Yea its wrong but its not that bad. They're gonna end up at Burger King anyway.
***** did they just change that? Im pretty sure here in SC you dont need one. But what would i know lol. Fuck fast food restaurants
"We've ruined hundreds and hundreds of People's lives"
I absolutely love this documentary. I have had experiences with very corrupt cops that gave me PTSD when they were supposed to be on duty
My oldest brother is very autistic, and to hear this story knowing it could be my brother just makes me so angry and sad. Corrupt pigs
The school is as guilty if not more for letting this happen. If the school sad no them it wouldn't have happened.
@@skaarup33 ah yes say no to the cops
@@graveygraveyard It is the school that gives the cop the ok to be in the school and doing this. Cop have to have probable cause, like cops can just search your car, or just go into your house. If the don't have probable cause, if they don't have that they have to have a court order. So yes the school can say no the cops. They have no right to be there and what they were doing was illegal. It called entrapment. In all those cases they were entrapping those kids. The cops also not allowed to talk to people under the age of 18. They have to have the permission of their parents or legal guardians.
Yep
@@graveygraveyard Uh yeah. Cops can't just force their way onto the campus to entrap people.
That cop needs to be fired. He tricks an special needs kid to gt into trouble to step up his career.
Debbiiee's Hub the kid gave him .6 for $20. the cop got ripped off.
Debbiiee's Hub You don't understand. THE POLICE DEPARTMENT wanted him to
EGamer the point is the disabled kid stole from the undercover cop. if he didnt pull out 1.4 grams of weed out of the cops sack so that he can smoke it himself the cop would have targeted someone else. the cop got the disabled kid cause he robbed the cop in my opinion.
Debbiiee's Hub the cop was told by someone higher up as his job. So technically we the people (citizens) should email or ask our senators to abolish this practice. It's really easy to get mad at that specific cop but he was not the only one involved. What they did tho was rly fucked up
Debbiiee's Hub yep. Its called entrapment
We are looking in to this
i had a similar event happen to me. i was friends with my schools on site police officer and i was always nice and i was seeking advice and such and then it all back fired on me and he arrested me for having knives in my truck at school. complete betrayal.
"He would lose his only friend"
That's sad
kid: *makes a finger gun*
mom:I was an undercover cop you're under arrest
No no it's like Mom: Yo make a finger gun
Kid: No
Mom: do it
Kid: No
Mom: let the darkness consume you
Kid: K *Makes finger gun*
Mom: get em in here
*Gang Swat has entered the chat*
for threatening to shoot up your school
A kid was actually arrest and charged with a felony for drawing, pencil art, a gun in an art class.
They just arrested a 13 year old girl because she pointed a finger gun lol
Lets be honest if this was legit the kid would've been shot not arrested
Tell me you're a corrupt organization, without telling me you're a corrupt organization
anyone else here from the tik tok of the girl who went to this school
The cop his only "friend" literally pressured him to get him weed. The kid just tried to keep a friend. His only friend! Thjs guy should be freed. He is *NOT* guilty!
Hes not in jail
The thing I dont understand is that the police is there to help but this is not helpful this is just humiliating.

Did you even watch the video? He didn't go to jail
@jmarks881 same
1) Entrapment
2) If Jesse is a minor he should not have been interviewed by the police without his parents
@Anthony Pellham well said
Think they get around it because of the felony cause that would be adult charges cause I’m sure kid was 16 or older
@@kevinthrogmorton3203 ye he was 16
well they said he was a senior making him not a minor
@@kevinthrogmorton3203 all charges start as juvenile charges until a court determines the charges are serious enough to be bound over to adult. This applies to those under 18.

This is what happens when there's too many cops in an area with little or no crime. Nothing better to do for these officers.
Julian G they're trying to bust drug dealers so people will buy at the legal age if they want so fuck off

the line that struck me the hardest is when the father said "And these people are considered heroes."
They're far from heroes
Many of them are good people. You just have a couple bad actors to f it all up

Short Version of the Story:
"Cop manipulatively persuades autistic kid into giving him weed by forcing him into bringing him 0.6g of weed,
then arrests him.
what a prick.
I don’t understand how anyone would argue he protected or served anyone but himself and the prison for profit system.
@@climber950 simple, they either are or have family that is/are a LEO. So they live and die by that brotherhood and code bullshit.

What terrible people, that should never be trusted with public safety again.
imagine thinking you finally made a friend and he turned out turning you into the police and sending you to jail... that shit is SO lame i can’t believe that this happened :-( my heart hurts for this boy
@Harram Harram it wouldnt stop if it was outlawed. Local departments always work their ways around federal law. That's why despite it being illegal, local departments still have monthly quotas to maintain.
It's terrible! I hope they got or get justice.
Cop or not u snitch its on go🙅🏻♂️🧢🤐
It’s terrible. The officer who targeted these kids must’ve been a real asshole. They let anyone be a cop and that’s the problem, these cops don’t do any sort of combat training, they’re basically just taught how to charge people. They aren’t taught well enough on addressing the differences between an innocent person and an evil one. They’re taught to see it as police versus society. And that’s the problem
@Pugunicorn 777 wut
as a parent of an autistic child i find this video very upsetting...its really hard to watch
+Tyesha Brown ikr, fucking infuriating
yes girl I feel u my child has autism in a bad way but he can't speak he can only make sounds and he has bad behavior he really doest have friends BC a lot of students in class leave him out and yes this is sad and upsetting

+Tyesha Brown IKR I'm autistic bv
+Aj Haas but the kids were selling drugs they could have been killed in a deal
Omg the best parents ever ❤
Thank you vice for covering this story . Jessey and his family and all the other young students don’t deserve to be blacklisted by society over a few grams of weed. I hope everyone is doing ok now .
He just wanted a friend
As someone diagnosed with PTSD, this kid is never going to trust anyone ever again. As if it wasn't hard enough before, even before he was corrupted by the undercover cop. Ruining his repuation day by day. Shame on "Mr. Briggs."
