For some reason, the sound effects of this ghost are very pleasurable to me. It was actually a bit distracting when I did this: it's supposed to be a stressful intense chase, but my brain just wanted to relax and enjoy the sound.
One tip after warping to the hub: Wait the cat ghost to get there and THEN YOU LEAVE through the other warp! The cat ghost goes all the way to catch you, so, it will take ages to reach you. Cheers!

If you teleport to the animal room, wait for the ghost to come there and then use the teleport you can easily do it without the ghost ever catching up with you.
not the fastest, but the earliest. if the disk is the first item you decided to take then you dont have the flute, so you can't teleport. this is probably what billy intended to be the "correct" route but of course he also figured people would be clever enough to discover other ways to do it.
But you also can't get into the animal room without the flute because you can't open the mouths... So the "intended route" is likely to go the long way through a lot of the upper sections. However, I subscribe to the theory that the intended way is for you to not give two shits what the dev thinks at do it whatever way works best for you...

I teleported into the hub room using the flute instead of running & dodging to get there, but it's interesting that this path actually looks easier. The wolf spirit catches up with the player a lot faster at the 'dog' section of the map if they use the teleport hub right away.

my route was definitely faster, of course you can use the flute to instantly get to the fast travel room, in the room with the blocks on chains you can have that already pulled all the way up (they only move when you are in the room) so you don't need to crank them up, also in that next room you can have the lever already pulled so you don't need to waste time with that, then bubble jump in the next room up to the lever, i just flung a frisbee behind it while i jumped to the right, (didn't need to use any firecrackers or anything) then the entrance to the disc room is open and boom you're done, don't need to go down those hatches or use that room at all. i think also in the room before the blocks on chains you could do a frisbee jump across to the right, i haven't bothered to try that but i think technically that would be faster

I didnt touch the frisbee, figured it was a trap and I eventually found the fake disc.
I was suspicious but grabbed it anyways and then got the shit scared out of me by the ghost dog lol it’s so deeply creepy somehow

damn i was taking the disk to the wrong spot. the fastest route would be to play the flute song to teleport to the animnal heads room
